There's not much exciting to write about this team, however I'm tired of seeing no new posts in this forum since 2018, so here goes nothing.
Matt Ryan just turned 36 and this is a big season for him now that Julio Jones has moved on and there are no proven receivers on the team other than Calvin Ridley, though Russell Gage has potential. The Falcons also have the ultra-heralded rookie tight end Kyle Pitts, already anointed a hall of famer by the hive mind media and DWFs, so it'll be interested to see how he fares this season as tight ends almost always struggle as rookies while Pitts is presumed to be an instant mega-star. If Ryan doesn't have a good season the Falcons will likely start looking for his replacement in the '22 draft.
John Cominsky remains the sole overachieving defender on the Falcons. He's in the mix on the line, but played less than half of the snaps last year and that looks to be his role again for this season.
The o-line as of now is projected to be 4/5 White, but with the drafting of Pitts, Hayden Hurst's role will be significantly reduced from last year.
