THE MOST SENSATIONAL KO I'VE EVER SEEN!
It's up there, the man was wobbled earlier in the round and landed nothing before the hybrid hook uppercut landed. Usually when a guy gets hit by that punch they are wobbly but try to rise and fall or all over the place but here it was count to 100 and he would have still been out.

Rocky Marciano's knock out of Walcott was similar in power and ferociousness.

And the NEWWW......

Whyte was out before he hit the canvas. The announcers were completely writing Povetkin off as well. Too bad their boyfriend got starched. No clue what this means for future fights. Povetkin needs to get back in the ring quickly though as time is running low.

They were trying to discredit Povetkin from the before the fight even started bringing up "Russian PEDs" and how it will put in asterisk near his achievements

At last that's what I heard

Sick KO! Didn't realize it started so early or I would have watched it live!

Yes, and the PED charges against Povetkin were false.

Whyte, however, was twice caught using real steriods.

Whyte did return a fist bump at the end of the weigh-in. For whatever that's worth.

Now he needs to give his manager a bigger fist bump for agreeing to fight Povetkin.

Just watched this on the British feed on YouTube. It seems the "caste sickness' has infected our English brothers. From the get-go, the British announcers were broadcasting that Sasha was getting manhandled by Whyte, far from it. Although he was dropped twice in the 4th I believe by Whyte. Then the 5th came up. He was holding his own, then perfect left uppercut, similar to Marciano's overhand (if that can ever be similar) to put Whyte to sleep. Wow!

Great fight! Pov had no chance to win except by KO as there were 3 british judges and a british referee. The commenters thought it was all but over as Whyte clearly won rd. 3 and Pov was down twice in rd.4. They were just going on about how badly he had slowed down in the last few years. I don't remember ever seeing an uppercut like that!

I have to admit I haven't been following boxing at all because of this stupid virus crap, but I saw the highlights of the Whyte KO and man that is one of the best punches I've ever seen. Beautiful jab slip uppercut combo. Black guys are getting their clocks cleaned in boxing. They keep trying to find their next "tyson" and it isn't working. Sports and athletics are evolving. White men are finding their groove and with a few more Tyson Furys, Matthew Bolings, Luka Doncics, Christian McCaffreys, the face of these sports start changing. The fact is undeniable that whites can compete and dominate blacks at any sport.

I'm a bit worried about Povetkin.

Yesterday, Glowacki seemed weaker and looked less energetic than before Covid. Similarly, post-Covid Beterbiev, although he won, didn't seem as strong and relentless as he has been in the past.

Someone I know who had Covid said he was tired and weaker for a couple of months after he recovered, as the virus took a lot out of him. However, he gradually came back to normal, and he's okay now.

Beterbiev will likely be back to near 100% for his next fight, although he's getting older.

I think the last delay of three weeks for the Povetkin-Whyte rematch has probably been is beneficial to Povetkin, but I'm worried that he'll still be weakened by his bout with Covid.

Yeah I agree having something similar to pneumonia is hard on your neuromuscular system and his punch resistance has to be compromised to a point.

But then again Whyte is rushing back quickly after a vicious concussion/ knockout and his ability to absorb a blow may be compromised too.

Looking at the weigh- in photos. Sasha looks soft, and but so does Whyte. But this does not bode well for Sasha smashing him again. In their first fight he looked to be in condition. Hopefully he is not mailing it in.
