I didn't get that impression. Hammer is very strong but he took a beating.

In the later rounds, but they're friendly to each other -every round touching gloves at least twice.

Fine sportsmen that's all. We're used to seeing the simian antics of negro boxers.

I didn't like the way Hammer touched his head a few times as tho he was hurt. I don't want any more Magos.

To be honest, Povetkin's not very fast on his feet, his footwork is only average, and being a small heavyweight with his age I can't see him winning a UD against Joshua in the UK or Wilder over here.

Yes, both are good sportsmen. That is always nice to see.

That's what they're saying in the comment section on that article but looking at their avatars it is not surprising. They seem a bit nervous.

Joseph Cash lol, he was an olympic gold medalist and amatuer world champion gold medalist in his 20's, theres a difference between slob and fighting fat, and there is a difference between muscle and steriods. Briggs going from 240 to 275 in solid muscles = steriods. Povetkin has fought at 215-230 his whole career. Hed have to be the dumbest steriod user in the world to use it without having an ounce of gains lol. Suliman has been desperate to keep WBC belt in US, thus when ever a threat to Beyonce comes along, they get spiked. Happens in boxing all the time. Ask Lucas Browne why he was cleared by VADA before entering Chechnya 5 days before fight, yet goes positive after fight. Think he decided to get on riods in a foreign warlord country couple days before fight when training had finished? Lol Ask Fury why he takes crates of his own food and water whenever he fights overseas. Only time in 20 years of boxing Povetkin is acused of doping, is when hes going to fight Wilder, or an eliminator to fight Wilder, yet hes never stopped from boxing, go figure.

Nice post. What we've been writing here all along. Good to see others see what we see.

I think you are right. 5 years ago When povetkin was in his prime I would have picked him to beat Joshua and wilder. He's almost 40 so that is a big problem

His ko of Price was frightening, I hope Price retires, he is an accident waiting to happen.

Povetkin is getting old, but I think he's still good enough to beat the loud-mouthed, arrogant Dillian Whyte.

Joshua ordered by WBA to defend his title against Povetkin. Povetkin has to realize this is his last chance at the true Heavyweight title. I hope he seizes the opportunity.

Povetkin needs to land a counter punch that Joshua can't see coming and then take him out.

If you look at the two fights that went into the championship rounds with Joshua he had a lead on Wlad when there was no way in hell he should have had the lead going into the 11th round tko, he also had a near shutout win against Parker when that fight was much closer than this. So there will be no way he can win a points win unless he scores multiple knockdowns. If this happened the scorecards will be irrelevant as he will have a tko win as he is too sharp a finisher to let Joshua off the hook.

Whyte who has twice failed PED tests and was only punished once is now a fairly lean 260 pounds, Povetkin is a relatively small 226 for this fight.

Whtye refused to shake hands or fist bump, his boorish act is getting tiring and his size makes me think of the Hamlet quote of "something smells rotten in the state of Denmark."

I don't expect Povetkin to win as he looked his age against the blown up cruiser Hunter, if he is to win he needs to make Whyte feel his 260 pounds and maybe he can get a mid to late rounds stoppage. Whyte isn't unbeatable as he has been wobbly and ready to go late in many of his key fights.
