2025 Track Results

I thought the same thing about Azzopardi. Pretty stupid to celebrate like that. He wasn’t comfortably ahead of 2nd place and he also feasibly could have had a chance to break 10 seconds. Not sure what he was thinking.
I liked it when Bruce jokingly said "I'm celebrating now, I've got 0.02 advantage over you". And it was exactly the same advantage as last week. What competition I'm expecting at the Aussie championships, especially with Browning's slick win while hiding away in Queensland

o_Oso I just saw Sam Ruthe of New Zealand run the first ever sub 4 minute mile for a 15 year old - 3.58.30 unreal.
At that tender age surely we should call him Babe Ruthe

That's now Australia. Hence my remark tongue in cheek that we're now the "fastest European" team. None of the other teams shown in the list are - interestingly Japan and China are ahead (China just, Japan by 4/10ths.

Yes this is true for an all white 4 x 100 Relay Team All Time. However here is something positive for us here to think about?

The 3rd fastest team is from the United Kindom with Richard Kilty and Adam Gemeli on it. So 2 white guys & 2 black guys.

The 6th fastest team of All Time are the Italians with 2 of the 4 sprinters being white guys. Tortu, Patta, and a half white third guy in Jacobs.

That 4th fastest Japanese Team sure could run with 3 Asians & 1 Mixed.

I agree - all proofs that talented, dedicated, well-trained white athletes/teams can get great results

World Indoors - glad to report Kennedy had the second fastest qualifier in 6.52 (which equals Shirvo's indoor record) since so many outside the country have called our times "fake" because they were outdoors.
Unfortunately Azzopardi just missed out with his 6.70 by 1/100th in horrible slow heat 1.
Three false starts meant he and Coby Hilton were hanging around for a long time. Hilton won it in the same time 6.70 - in fact all four placegetters getting that time - I have never seen a race that close.

Glad Hilton gets to run again anyway - but the slow time reflects the starting horrors

Lachlan Kennedy like Shirvo and Browning is now the MAIN MAN in Australian Sprinting. Lucky for him he has alot of younger guys
to push him to greater heights. So pumped up that he shut up his skeptics and critics globally. Hope he continues to run like the wind!

Lachlan Kennedy takes the silver medal in the Mens 60 Meters Finals at the 2025 World Indoor Championships! He literally lost
by an eye lash. His time of 6.50 only trails Richard Kilty, Morne Nagel & Samuel Ceccarelli on the All Time European 60 Top List. The
kid is only 21 and he is so much fun to watch. A huge congrats for handling the pressure like a true veteran. We are seeing the
emerging of a superstar for Australia and quite possibly the world!

Brian Faust took 2nd in the 400m World Indoor Championships with a time of 45.47.
He has quietly gone from being an unknown to a world class sprinter and medalist. Congratulations!

Claire Bryant, who had a good career at the University of Florida, just became World Indoor Champion in the women's Long Jump!
She jumped a Personal Best of 6.96m. Congratulations!

Mastermulti will be happy to know that Aussie women, Olyslagers and Patterson, got gold and silver in the High Jump.
