2025 NFL Wildcard Round

Rodgers doesn't like to throw to Freiermuth for some reason. The other TE, Jonnu Smith, has been a total bust since coming over from the Dolphins. The receiving group is one of the worst in the league. The tackles aren't good at all. Rodgers at 42 lacking the wheels he long had, can only do so much to overcome the pieces around him.

Tomlin punts away the season.
But, but, but, Tomlin has never had a losing season.

I was of course rooting for Rodgers and the Steelers, but I'm glad it's turned into a blowout as Tomlin should have been gone a number of years ago and the anger from the DWFs after this calamity is going to be deafening and very entertaining.

Agreed. It's just tough to see Rodgers potentially go out like this. An all time great. Metcalf with two crucial drops, not getting their best TE involved at all in the passing game, awful pass protection for Rodgers. He certainly is not as fleet of foot as he once was but he was still throwing some ropes out there.

Down 17-6 in the 4th quarter, 4th and 5 from midfield, and Tomlin punts with his trash black punter, to the 20. Then loses 30-6.

Thanks for the many great memories, Aaron Rodgers and Adam Thielen, two players I've enjoyed watching a helluva lot during their careers.

Thielen was fantastic. He certainly bridged the gap between Welker/Jordy and these younger guys in the league now. Another "underdog" that went on to dominate in the NFL.

75% of the remaining QBs in the playoffs are White, a percentage not seen for years. I am still hopeful that, just as the world has turned away from wokeness and DEI in general, this year's Super Bowl will represent a turning point away from the magical melanin at the quarterback position and a return to the traditional dominance of the elite White QBs who have carried the NFL on their backs for the past few decades.
