No. The Chiefs were number 1 in points and number 1 in offense the year after Hill left. The downfall began as soon as Rodent Nagy took over as OC. He was able to turn a Mahomes from a confident gunslinger to a tentative, look-at-the-rush QB with happy feet in less than a year. I follow Mitchell Schwarz, a great OT for the Browns and Chiefs on X. He broke down a few plays after the game to illustrate how poorly coached (OC, RBC, WRC, OLC) the Chiefs are on offense. It's all on Nagy, and also ultimately on FB Reid.Trade Kelce though I'm not sure there is a win now team needing him. I'll defer to the experts here. Of course that is after the season if he doesn't get strung out over the middle on an errant pass and killed. I'll ask my son in law Chiefs super fan if he thinks losing Hill was the start of the downfall.
