2025 NFL Week 15

Trade Kelce though I'm not sure there is a win now team needing him. I'll defer to the experts here. Of course that is after the season if he doesn't get strung out over the middle on an errant pass and killed. I'll ask my son in law Chiefs super fan if he thinks losing Hill was the start of the downfall.
No. The Chiefs were number 1 in points and number 1 in offense the year after Hill left. The downfall began as soon as Rodent Nagy took over as OC. He was able to turn a Mahomes from a confident gunslinger to a tentative, look-at-the-rush QB with happy feet in less than a year. I follow Mitchell Schwarz, a great OT for the Browns and Chiefs on X. He broke down a few plays after the game to illustrate how poorly coached (OC, RBC, WRC, OLC) the Chiefs are on offense. It's all on Nagy, and also ultimately on FB Reid.

Glad to see Mahomes is getting the Trubisky treatment! Nagy completely destroyed Trubisky as a 3rd year player. It’s a bit more of a red flag with Mahomes since he is an established veteran and was supposed to replace Brady as the best QB ever yet he regressed instead of taking command of the offense like Brady or Peyton Manning did. Any of the “cerebral” QBs for that matter have become coaches on the field.

Kelce is probably done after this season. I think his selling out to Pfizer and the mRNA poison along with his gay Taylor swift relationship are fertile ground for criticism here but I’ve laid off. Pushing Pfizer is especially unforgivable not just because of what most of us knew here 4 years ago but now because it’s finally getting the black box warning from the FDA. He should issue an apology and donate the money to vaxx injured or families of those that were killed by the shot.

Excellent observation. The only difference is that I don't think that Brady, Manning, Brees were as saddled with incompetence as completely as the Chiefs QBs are. The play prep by the coaching staff hamstrings any playmaking. Carson Wenze losing 38-0 to the Broncos at the end of last season was not an aberration. Watch poor Gardner Minshew these last three games, God help him.

As for Kelce I actually think he'll be back. He had a very good year and looked better than he has in the last few. Besides, he's doubtless being kept young getting embalmed at an early age.

I wouldn't say Kelce had a good year by his standards. He dropped a lot of passes, including two crucial drops in the fourth quarter of the game last week that cost the Chiefs a chance at winning. His last thousand yard season was in 2022. With Mahomes' return date unknown he may decide to retire rather than play another season. He's had a great career as one of the three best tight ends ever but he relies almost purely on savvy now as the speed he had when younger is long gone.

He had some beastly touchdowns early in his career. Not sure what year this is but Alex Smith is the QB so it's pre-Mahomes:

Remember when Caleb Johnson was the talk of yinzerville over the summer? Man what an outright bust and failure he has been. He was supposed to be an improvement on the plodding Najee Harris yet he never plays. What a joke.

He's been a colossal flop so far, no doubt. Pretty hard for a running back drafted in the third round to stink as bad as he has as a rookie. Most RBs drafted late or signed as free agents can at least run the ball a bit.

Rodgers with the TD pass to put the Steelers up 14-3. Let’s see if Tua can come back win his first game ever with the temperature under 40 degrees. He is currently 0-5.

Wilson with over 110 tackles on the season. He has more than Patrick Queen although he has played 260 less snaps through last week.

Tua looks gassed and Miami's defense has pulled multiple boneheaded moves. The only Dolphin performing well tonight is the punter, Jake Bailey, who is White of course. He's preventing the Steelers from getting great field positions.

Literally as I wrote this #20 on the Dolphins Jordyn Brooks did what looked like a helmet-to-helmet on Freiermuth and then got a 15-yard taunting penalty.
