I could see this coming with my draft mags. Just a very light sprinkling of short armers at about every position. Length and long arms lots of blah blah blah. Lack of length and short arms will doom you to the later rounds and shorten your career. When I read Jack Sawyer's evaluation and they went on a bit about his shortish arms that was it. I haven't looked at either mag since.

At least "bubble" has faded away, like any other fad. Which is the way this obsession with arm length will go. These experts are like a bunch of high school girls secretly watching each other.

The overall White percentage may not be as low as the '15 and '20 drafts, but only about 15 were drafted in the all important first three rounds, around 15%.

The best left tackle and the best defensive tackle in the draft were White and selected 4 and 5 in the first round. Sounds good, but also proves the theory that Whites need to be elite to land in a caste position. If you’re average, only blacks need to apply.

So Larison, possibly the best dual threat running back in the class goes undrafted. If his skin was a shade or too darker, he would’ve went third or fourth round even coming from a smaller school.

Detroit seems to be the only remaining team that values white talent consistently. Had high hopes for Denver to double down and fill positions of need with white athletes, instead they reached massively, even on draft cuck standards, for a RB and WR on day 2 while Skattebo and Teslaa were on the board. All 3 California teams have been trending away from white players for a while, so it's not a huge surprise but still sad to see all 3 going in the wrong direction.

On the plus side, I think some late round QBs landed in decent spots. Ewers has a clear path to start, as does Riley Leonard who could eventually replace the atrocious Anthony Richardson.

This Shedeur Sanders fall is a candidate for slide GOAT. My Lindy's had him going 3rd and the Athlon Sports (don't recommend them) predicted 6th overall. 144th in 5th round?

Tough being the son of a superstar. Bronny James would know. Although I would say Sanders is a better footballer than James is a hooper. Everyone knew Bronny James was a nepo. Sanders also but he did produce something on the field.

In the interview I wonder if Sanders might have gone on a little too much about God. Seems his brand of Christianity could be of the prosperity school. I'm special because God says I am and so forth.

Not a diagnosis. I'm only speculating on what might be happening in a situation like this.

I agree that this draft wasn’t the best, but it does seem that Dart, Skattebo, Bech, DeSlaa, Loveland, Warren, and a few others will at least get legitimate chances to prove themselves. Like Nix, Maye, Bowers, Alt, and McConkey, they can make it if they stay healthy and perform. We need a few years of this if we are to overcome the obstacles and biases. Just some thoughts.

I would say Mason Taylor passes the eye test and would be counted as white by fans and probably subject to the same unfair treatment a white would so I have counted him in the following count by round.

Bears 3 from 8 with TE Loveland, OT Trapillo and Luke Newman Offensive Tackle from Michigan State.

Browns took both DT Graham at 5 and ILB Schwesinger at 33 only 2 from 6 but the top 2 picks in caste positions.

Lions 3 from 7 took OG Ratledge, traded up for WR Teslaa and took Dan Jackson safety from Georgia late.

Colts 3 from 8 took TE Warren round 1, Leonard late at QB and Hunter Wohler standout safety at Wisconsin.

Jaguar 3 from 9 with Tackle to Guard Milum, Kizer ILB round 4 and utility lineman Jonah Monheim from USC.

Raiders 4 from 11 with WR Bech from TCU, Tommy Mellot WR from Montana State, Cam Miller QB North Dakota State and Cody Lindenberg LB Minnesota.

Giants 3 from 7 with Dart at 25 in the 1st, Skateboo early in the 4th and TE Fidone Nebraska late.

Eagles 3 from 9 with Ty Robinson DT Nebraska, Mccord at QB and Drew Kendall at Centre.

Seahawks took 5 from 11 best of the lot.... OG Grey Zabel 18 overall, Rylie Kills DT Notre Dame, Robbie Outs TE Alabama, Bryce Cabeldue OT Kansas and Mason Richman OT Iowa.

Will Howard transfers in to Ohio St and leads the Buckeyes to the national championship.

Kyle McCord is pushed out of Columbus after leading the Buckeyes to an 11-1 season. He is viewed as the reason they can't win, he goes to Syracuse and turns around a struggling program to go 10-3 while leading the nation in passing.

Riley Leonard transfers to ND, is a dual threat QB that gets the Irish to the national championship game.

Kurtis Rourke comes to IU and leads Inidiana to the college football playoff while playing on a bad knee.

Yet Sanders is the victim. The double standard could not be more obvious and it's why the black QB situation pisses me off so much. All of those QBs listed above should be drafted already with teams that will allow them to compete for the starting job. The NFL is a joke.

He has landed with the Patriots in post draft free agency, 175,000 in guarantees think he sticks not a bad position think we carry 4 backs and we have nothing after the top 3 other than another camp body. Stevenson is a fumble machine and Gibson isn't young. Could be the third down back with Henderson fielding early down work down the line for us.I

The NFL is DEI. It is not a meritocracy. Every draft for the past 25 years has hovered right around 20% White athletes drafted with little deviation either way (I believe the two outliers were around 15% and 26%). The glass ceiling White athletes face is a very real thing. The open discrimination that Whites have to endure in both the college recruiting and NFL draft processes is not some imagined conspiracy theory. I have followed the draft closely since 2004 and after 20 years the patterns are obvious. I have seen countless White athletes get screwed over and never get a chance at the NFL. The number of White kids coming out of high school every year that get ignored is probably 10 times as bad as the NFL draft.

Year after year there are a ridiculous number of black players drafted at defensive back, wide receiver, running back, linebacker, defensive line, offensive tackle. And the next year the same cycle repeats itself. Meanwhile White athletes are written off because of their 40 time (the NFL draft process makes no effort to take into account much of the other athletic testing (vertical, 3 cone, bench press, short shuttle, broad jump). If the player is black and fast it's a meal ticket to the NFL. Meanwhile the White athlete that has a much more complete athletic workout but is a tenth of a second slowed in the 40 is written off.

The newest trend being pushed is arm length. It's the next big lie behind 40 time to try and push White offensive linemen away from the tackle position. There have been several instances of this I can point to over the past few years - Pete Skoronski, Graham Barton, Grey Zabel, Jonah Monheim all played left tackle in college at a high level but there arms were deemed too short so they get moved to the interior. That is just a small sample off the top of my head. Will Campbell faced the same scrutiny this year about the issues with his arm length despite the fact he was the best blindside protector in the supposed best conference in college football.

The cries of racism and collusion against Shedeur Sanders were beyond asinine. These cries were coming from the same group of people who for the past few weeks have been donating to Karmelo Anthony's gofundme, defending his murder of an innocent White teenager and reveling in the grief of Austin Metcalf's mother and brother (Metcalf's father is another story, a truly pathetic man). Many of these complaints I noted on social media were not people that followed football but just typical angry black people with the well established black victimhood mentality. It's all so tiring.

The real collusion in this draft was this:

Kyle McCord not drafted until the 6th round. McCord was demonized and pushed out of Columbus by the Ohio St fan base despite going 11-1. He goes to Syracuse and leads them to a 10-3 record. He did more for Syracuse than Sanders did for Colorado. Also led the nation in passing and was a better QB than Cam Ward who was gifted the number 1 pick due to skin color.

Will Howard transfers to OSU and has a stellar season running Chip Kelly's offense. He wins a national championship. At KSU he was pushed aside much like McCord so he goes and wins a national championship.

Quinn Ewers might be the biggest outrage out of them all considering he won 27 games in the SEC. Won big games in the SEC and guided Texas to back to back playoff appearances.

The militant racist blacks and their white hanger on's crying about Sanders won't be able to deny those facts and will just ignore them. Fact is Sanders thought he was better than he is. He refused to take part in the Shrine bowl practices or game, the combine or the big 12 pro day. He really thought he was that good. His arrogant father fed him and hyped him up all these years. Blacks are saying that Sanders did not "code switch" to appeal to the "White" owners. You can't make this stuff up. Millions of black people in this country think like that.

Another positive note - 9 of the 13 QBs drafted were White, and even some who were taken in the later rounds landed on as good a spot as any, particularly Quinn Ewers, Riley Leonard, and Will Howard.

Skattebo should have gone way earlier, but he probably landed in the best (or almost the best) spot a 4th rounder could have landed.

Great post! The claims of “racism” against sanders is so far fetched it is beyond words. Although I’ll give sanders credit for this- at least he has a black girlfriend!
