Natalia Kaczmarek ran a nice 49.86 to win the 400 meters in Poland today. Zoe Hobbs won the 100 in 11.17.

Kaczmarek is a gorgeous female and a strong sprinter. In this race she beat multiple drug cheat Nassir for the win. She needs to be able to produce another 1/2-3/4 second faster to be competitive in the Olympics..

Sydney McLaughlin Levrone has scratched from the 400 and 200, and will only do the 400 hurdles.

Her coach his Bobby Kersee. Kind of makes you wonder

Sam Blaskowski goes in heat 1 of the men's 100m today....hopefully he is 100% healthy and performs well! He is right in between Lyles and Bednarek....

Since Sydney is not contesting the 400m one will have to assume she wants to have the showdown at the Olympics(barring injury) with Femke Bol on the 400mh. Most definitely will be the penultimate event of the Olympics

I was watching the women's 100 heats again and saw that Jenna Prandini got a terrible start and still managed a second place in her heat at 11.03. She has gotten herself into sub 11.00 shape at 31 years of age. That is amazing!! She is in the same heat with Sha-scary today.

I think Matthew has got a 44.60 in him.

Polish Sprinter Dominik Kopec ran a 10.09 +1.0 today. That is his 2nd sub 10.10 of his career. I'm sure he wishes this was at the European Championships but it's still a good sign about 6 weeks from the Olympics in Paris, France.

The race was in Finland and Simon Verherstaeten of Belgium finished 2nd running a p.b. of 10.10! :p

yep, and our relay final leg sprinter, Joshua Azzopardi, PB'd just behind the Belgian with a 10.14. It's all coming together nicely

that's about what I'm expecting from Boling too - hopefully he hasn't tanked after that sub 45 heat.
Jenna Prandini is a gem of an athlete. I thought Canadian Audrey LeDuc looks a similar body shape - no huge muscles as an impediment

I forgot to mention that Dominik Kopec ran that 10.09 on his 29th birthday. Happy Birthday to the Polish Missile. Maybe this will inspire
Rohan Browning to keep going! I sure hope so. Kopec has run his 2 fastest 100 meters of his career at 28 and now 29 years of age!

Jenna Prandini qualified for the final in the women's 100 at 11.09. Sam Blaskowski (10.23) and Coby Hilton (10.19) both qualified for the next round in the men's 100. Hope those two can get PBs.

a small article on the now 22 year old Amy Hunt who ran the world 200m under 18 record of 22.42 before tearing her quadricep and doing an English Major at Cambridge University. She's just got down to a 11.12 and is back into the 22s for 200m. She was 3rd leg runner in GB's relay win in Rome and Bronze in the Bahamas and is also the British 60m champion this year. It's great to see her back again
