2024 Outdoor season

I've noted her come into races and look quite solid for the past year now. Here best times have all been in the last 10 months. She didn't do so well in Ostrava last night though

Here is to the 18 year old teen sensation Marek Zakrzewski eventually having a career that can rival Ewa Swoboda. She is a living legend
in Poland. So talented and she should make the Olympic 100 Meters Finals in Paris this summer. A medal would be so sweet!

she is very lean but very well muscled. In this photo her body is exploding out of the blocks yet her face is very relaxed. Not easy to do...

On Sunday June 02, 2024 we will see the Diamond League Meet in Stockholm, Sweden. Could this be the meet will we see Henrik Larsson
dip under that magical 10 second barrier? He ran a 10.08 with almost no wind in his last race. If he gets a good start he just may do it. If not
he will most likely break his p.b. in the 100 meters again. I will be conservative and predict a 10.05 this time out. I hope he goes faster!

Coby Hilton got an invite in the same meet for the Sweden National 100 Meters. So cool for him to run earlier and then have a front row seat to see the big boys in a Diamond League Race. Good luck to Coby Hilton.

Trey Cunningham came in first in the 110 hurdles in 13.12 (wind +0.8) in Jamaica last evening.

It's great to see Trey Cunningham back in fine form in an Olympic Year. He battled injuries last year but seems to be back on track. His lifetime best in the 110 hurdles is a 13.00 seconds flat. Would like to see him join that sub 13 hurdles club which is very small compared
to the sub 10 list. Only 24 guys have done it. Trey needs to get a medal in Paris even if it's not the gold. Still hoping for the best in Paris!

Femke Bol won the women's 400 hurdles in 53.07 and Julia Henriksson placed in both the 100 and 200 meter sprints. I had never heard of her before.

homeland maybe? Still no excuse as he is 24 years of age. Pressure has killed more sprinters than we will ever know. You have to be
as mentally tough as you are physically prepared. Not a good look with only a week until the 2024 European Championships!

I see the rejuvenated Amy Hunt pushed hard in the 200 to finish next to Henriksson. Amy has finished her English major at Cambridge and now, uninjured for quite a while, she seems to be heading back to her teenage years as far as times go - and since she has the 2nd best 200 all time for a 17 year old that is good

I'm really excited about Audrey LeDuc. I think she still has to qualify at the Canadian Olympic trials. It will be so cool to see a real French girl do well in the sprints in front of the Paris audience. She is good looking and has a humble personality. Of course, I am rooting for Abby Steiner and Ewa Swoboda too
