I am a bit bummed the Broncos didn't win their matchup, but at least we saw a white cornerback Riley Moss and Alex Singleton lead in tackles for their teams

The hated Baker Mayfield finished with 24/30 (80%) for 289 yards and 4 touchdowns, no INT. 3 carries for 21 yards also in leading the Bucs to a 37-20 win over garbage time Jayden Daniels and the Commodes. And just to think that Browns fans couldn't wait to run this guy out of town to bring in DeShaun "massage" Watson.

Cooper Kupp will continue to be very heavily targeted:

Rams placed WR Puka Nacua on injured reserve with a sprained right PCL.
Nacua will miss a minimum of four games. It means that even in the best-case scenario, Nacua will not return before Week 7 since the Rams’ bye falls in Week 6. It’s a brutal, brutal blow for fantasy managers, one the Rams will tend to with increased DeMarcus Robinson targets and apparently Tyler Johnson snaps. Rookie Jordan Whittington and Tutu Atwell will also be in the mix. That’s reasonably good depth, but everyone knows the true result will be as many targets as Cooper Kupp can handle. TE Colby Parkinson’s arrow is also pointing upward. For Nacua, it’s just the latest issue in an increasingly-lengthy injury history.

Any updated news on McCaffrey? I'm seeing conflicting reports. Some are saying he's a go for normal work-load. While other reports have him as questionable.

We get to see the illustrious Jordan Mason instead….
The thing is Jordan Mason is very good and I suspect he will have a very good game. The one chink in McCaffrey’s armor is his inability to stay healthy the way some all-time backs like an Emma Thomas or Barry Sanders or Marshall Fault did.

I really hope they are just being overly cautious with CMC but I am doubtful. I think it is worse than they’ve been letting on.

Game has lost some of its luster without CMC in there, it's a pretty dark affair. Still, no quotas on the field. Rodgers looked very good on the touchdown drive in the 1st quarter.

Agreed. Only one white starter on defense for both teams! That's pathetic. Most of the offensive line is black as well. Juice could run the ball as well as Mason.
Kittle only targeted once so far.

Rooting for Rodgers this year but his sumo line is Swiss cheese. Silver lining is the Bosa should feast all game.

Kyle Shanahan as usual is scheming up some nice runs. Shame CMC is missing out, but calf injuries can turn into Achilles tears so it's probably for the best.

Standard has been set ..comparing black RBs to Christian McCaffrey.

George Kittle is cut from a different cloth!

After a long drama filled hold out Aiyuk gets his money and drops a perfect pass by Purdy for a TD

Brock Purdy playing well. 9/16 for 106 yards. Several dropped passes as well and one a TD. Aiyuk getting 120 million to drop passes. Amazing what some of these players are paid and are nowhere near worth it.

Some notes from week 1 (so far):

Mayfield, Carr, Allen, and Darnold joined Stroud in the top 5 for qb rating. Those 4 were our only multi-TD guys with Rodgers and Purdy going tonight. Stafford was our only 300 yard passer, but Tua was the only other.

Nix and Allen were solid on the ground, but not much else. Allen did have 2 rushing TDs and continues his dominance while Nix also scored on a superb run.

Kupp and Pierce both broke 100 yards receiving while Bowers had 58, Theilen gained 49, and Parkinson, La Porta, and Moreau had over 40. The main tight ends were mostly quiet, unfortunately. McConkey, Pierce, Kupp, and Moreau snagged TDs, with McConkey showing off the double juke move.

On defense, no one with more than 2 sacks, but Hutchinson, Crosby, Watt, Bosa, Phillips, and Van Ginkel had one while Fox had a half sack. Anzalone, Wilson, Moss, and Spillane all had double digit tackles. Smith, Singleton, Van Ginkel, and Blankenship had INTs. Bosa forced a fumble.

Jordan Mason is a good back that could start for many teams, but just imagine what CMC could do with these plays!

Adam Schefter reporting CMC could miss next week as well. That would suck.

Great TD strike by Rodgers. That pass is classic Rodgers. His arm hasn't aged a day. The greatest pure passer of his generation and it's not particularly close.

That was a great pass. It's a shame he's on such a caste team in the Jets though. They really are getting dominated at the line of scrimmage.

Mason with a 150 yard game averaging over 5 yards per attempt.

Watch as people start to question if McCaffrey should be in a split backfield.

If this team is playing in January with McCaffrey, Juice, Kittle, Brock, and Pearsall, all will be well.
