2024 NFL Divisional Playoff Round

If tomorrow's game go as expected, there will be very little to root for aside from a few token white defenders, TEs and linemen. 3/4 QBs will be of the "modern" archetype, with Mahomes ironically being the most traditional. I don't know that I've ever missed the championship games and Super Bowl but I'd find it hard to care at that point.

Hopefully some better results next season but I fear this is the new normal.

By that extension, we should be criticizing the white players as well. The fact remains that is is easier than ever to put up offensive numbers in today’s game. All the rule changes favor the offense.

As much as I like a guy like Darnold or Goff, they are not on the level of a Favre or a Young. And yet they have put together seasons that rival those all-timers best seasons.

Offensive numbers are inflated, especially passing and receiving.

The defensive injuries have really caught up….

If Buffalo and LA fail tomorrow, Mahomes and the Chiefs might be the default best option. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.
 
The Detroit defense can be blamed for a bad game, but the Detroit offense with FOUR turnovers guarantees a loss. They need to hold them to a field goal or less and then score 2 TD's with only 8 minutes to go. If WA gets the TD here it's pretty much game over.

I don't root for Mahomes. I root for White athletes. I also realize that black QBs are here to stay, and attacking all of them as terrible is not going to make the NFL return to starting only Whites at the position. I'm not interested in a site that is the mirror image of sites that mindlessly hate all Whites. We root for the players we have, including at quarterback, just as we always did and do for the other positions and other sports. I swear, some of you guys are somehow stuck living in a time that was before you were even born. Did you really think such a black dominated sport was going to go on indefinitely in America 2.0 with no Blacks at the most important position?

Yes indeed. You can't turn the ball over four times in the playoffs and expect to win. It's as simple as that.
 
Maybe Aaron Glenn is slipping as one of the most desired candidates to be a head coach lol. A lot of injuries to be sure but in too many games the Lions defense has been a joke.

Sucks for the Lions, seemed like everything was coming together for them to finally advance to the Big Game.

Good point. Glenn has been a media darling that I’ve heard all the talking heads clamoring for him to get a HC job. Today he’s been thoroughly outmaneuvered by Cliff Cucksbury at every turn. And we know that Cliff is no genius.

At that point its just time to tune out. I'm not interested in settling for the handful of white contributors to the Mahomes dynasty.

That's your choice. I started this site to root for those "handful of White contributors" we sometimes have in the Super Bowl and wherever else and in whatever sport. If it's KC vs. Baltimore I'll be rooting for some really good overachievers on the Chiefs and pretty much just Mark Andrews on the Ravens. Some Super Bowls end up that way and we still don't know what's going to happen tomorrow and next week. We could still end up with the Bills vs. the Rams. I love watching and rooting for White quarterbacks, wide receivers, tight ends, linebackers, defensive ends, the few running backs and safeties, and now even a couple cornerbacks. That's what I care about, not obsessing about Black quarterbacks. BQDS is such a negative affliction, totally without humor or perspective.

More often than not the matchups in the Super Bowl have been pretty good because the relatively White teams (which are still mostly Black) are more successful than the super Black ones on average. But regardless, I understand the Caste System has made substantial progress when it comes to Black quarterbacks and if enough are given an opportunity some will succeed, like Jayden Daniels. I've always concentrated on rooting for "our guys" no matter the position and always will while doing what I can to illuminate others about the Caste System in the hope of "leveling the playing field" for White athletes. If all you care about is Black quarterbacks perhaps this isn't the place for you.

I'm sure I am mocked at best when I say the most radical course of thought and action is that we can be for ourselves. If they did not have reactionaries howling in OUTRAGE they would create them to howl when prompted, as it becomes theater to legitimize the establishment's actions and goals.

Anyway I see the Lions have been nominated to play the part of elevating a young promising black QB marketing principle for the NFL's bottom line. Packers used to be that stooge, but since they have their own slightly above average black QB it would be a tough choice versus the headlines they could generate with "New QB out duels first ballot HoF QB."

Anyway the way I watch a game these days is to be reading something interesting and then watching the replay and commentary. FTR I thought the new exciting stickman QB made some good plays while the old school immobile and boring QB took too big a bite a few times.

Call me what you will but IMO the NFL is an entertainment conglomerate first and foremost.
 
The most disappointing play for me all day was when the Chief's LT a short armer got beat just enough for the ham actor to get sacked. Then I had to listen to Aikman spend 30 secs explaining that the short armer was in fact a G playing tackle. As if I did not see enough of the Long Armers with molasses feet get beat all day which thankfully I think Aikman addressed that the Texans need to address the OL problems. Of course that probably means the short armer C gets replaced by an "explosive dynamic C with reach and unlimited upside that goes perfectly with his room brightner."
 
If the Bills and Rams lose, then the Eagles would be the least of the evils left for me. I'm no Hurts fan but at least he's not Golden Boy, Ghetto Lamar, or Robert Griffin IV (get it)? Plus the Eagles have Interesting Whites Cooper DeJean and Reed Blankenship.
 
Could someone with more knowledge of the game inform me if Kelce feasts on zone coverage and if so why they cannot flex on him in a hybrid fashion. Obviously if Buffalo comes to town to play the Chiefs they will need to put a damper on him.

Kelce is really good at recognizing the zones. Man only works if you have a big, fast CB or safety to cover. Cooper DeJean would be a good example of an ideal cover man against Kelce.

My answer is don't give an inch, be hyper critical and call out the BS at EVERY opportunity. Nitpick them all. On top of not being a fan of black QBs, I am not much of a fan black people either.

Again, you and everyone else criticizes blacks at ever position and every sport yet the QB spot seems to be a no go zone. Mahomes isn't as good as you or footballdad think he is. 6 years of questionable calls prove this without a doubt. That's not to mention he's a sloppy player with bad mechanics and can only play in the shotgun offense where he just runs around waiting for the WR to get open knowing he has a great shot at getting favorable calls. He's the template for what the NFL, the media, racist blacks are all pointing as the "future of the position" yet some here want to give him credit as an all time great. It's absurd. QB is the last position to fall to the caste system so at least over my almost 20 years on the site I have been consistent with my high level of criticism towards all "QU0TA BACKS".

You're wrong, big surprise there. My position has never been that all Black running backs suck, all Black wide receivers suck, all Black tackles suck, or that all Black quarterbacks suck. Some do and many don't. Blacks make good athletes. I've criticized different Black QBs on countless occasions. What's different is your position that all Black quarterbacks suck without exception.

And who are you "not giving an inch to"? DWFs, me, Peter King? Do you believe that all 32 starting quarterbacks in the NFL should be White, now and always? Serious question.
 
"Curious" that Aaron Glenn was left out of all the roasting of Dan Campbell. Isn't he the defensive coordinator who Campbell pretty much gives autonomy to? Typical DWF reaction of taking their frustrations out on a fellow White rather than the proper target.
