Nikola Jokic's MASTERPIECE After Receiving His 3rd #KiaMVP Award! #PLAYOFFMODE | May 14, 2024

During this playoff run, Jokic has gone up against 4x All-defensive team Anthony Davis followed by 4x DPOY Rudy Goebert in consecutive series. Despite this, he's averaging 28.8/13/9.5. What Jokic is doing is so much greater than anything Tim Duncan, Shaq, or Hakeem ever did, but he will never fully get the credit because he doesn't look the part.

Christian Braun is also getting more playing time, putting up 10 points in 28 min last night. Back-to-back games in double figures.

The gap between Jokic and the second best player hasn’t been this wide since jordan in his prime. The guy, with no other all star, is dominating a great defensive team

I agree with what you said about Nikola Jokic. He should have won 4 consecutive NBA MVP's. Jokic is putting on a clinic & it's fun to watch!

I have 2 wishes for Christian Braun. First that he enters the NBA Dunk Contest next year before he gets too old. Second and this is far more important is that he becomes a starter within the next 1 or 2 years. He is the Nuggets Best Defensive Player!

I think Braun is better off the bench. He's the perfect sixth man with all that energy he brings.

Last week it looked like sweep time but the Nuggets have won three in a row against a very tough team. The timing of an earlier exit wouldn't have been on the heels of Jokich's MVP. I really hope they can close it out.

Jokich is such an incredible player. There's never been a player like him in the history of the NBA.

The pundits pining for SGA as MVP are being exposed in these playoffs. He's a great player no doubt, but it's clear that Jokic is #1 and Luka is the #2 player in the world.

FIrst off I'm glad Jokic won as he was robbed last year. Jokic had an even better season statistically last year and still lost the MVP Race. NIkola Jokic averaged basically a triple double every night last year. No way that he should have ever lost & it wasn't even close!

As for Doncic here are my thoughts. We were told last year that Joel Embiid won because he led the league in scoring. Yet Doncic does the same thing and finishes a distant 3rd. The bias against white players is just outright disgusting and it stems from racism in my opinion. How can anyone else not see that whites are held down artificially to help enforce the caste system?

He is great off the bench, agreed, but is far too talented not to start. He could easily be a 25/5/5 guy for us.

Braun only got 18 minutes last night despite the blowout. In the previous 2 wins he had 25 minutes or more. Malone needs to play him more obviously l!!

Let's Go Knicks! Never thought I would say that. I will take 2 white starters over 1 bench guy for the Pacers. Hoping for a Knicks vs Celtics Eastern Conf. Finals with the Knicks going to the championship. Even if the Celtics go they do play several of our guys.

Well the Knicks are eliminated from the playoffs. Very sad to see but Brunson just had a horrible time shooting the ball. Donte Divencenzo was electric though. Divencenzo scored 39 points trying to lift the Knicks but he didn't get much help. I have to applaud the Knicks for having the intelligence to start this guy. Most teams just make our guys into bench players. The Knicks went against the norm. Great to see and he will only get better in the next few years!

brutal 2H from Denver as they blow a 20 pt lead to the all black Twolves, Malone should shoulder the blame as his 2nd half adjustments were non existent against a very low IQ team that was begging to be sent home

Can't blame the coach. Nuggets just missed every shot, especially in the 3rd quarter. By the 4th they just looked gassed out, especially Jokic who was clearly exhausted after carrying this team all year. He still put up 32 but no one else outside of Murray showed up at all. Repeating in the NBA is hard, almost impossible. I knew this was going to be a tough series, but they still should've won this game, to be honest. Luckily, we have Luka and the Mavs to avenge the Nuggets.

No matter what happens in the west, we should have a clear rooting interest for the finals. Boston will almost certainly take care of a weak Pacers squad and can even rest Porzingis in this series. I'd prefer to see Luka grab his first title, but if Minnesota wins, I wouldn't mind a Boston team that keeps up to 4 whites in the playoff rotation.

The nightmare scenario would be Minnesota vs Indiana, a coal black affair outside of TJ McConnell. If that happens, I'll certainly be tuning out but it's extremely unlikely.

Let’s be honest here. The Nuggets are not a one-man team. They are the defending champions who won with the exact same crew last year, They were a choke job away from advancing to the conference finals where they would’ve been favored against the Mavs and whoever came out of the East, It’s unfortunate what happened because I really enjoy watching Jokid play.

Jokic is the best player in the world and it would be more accurate to say he’s been leading this team for the last two years instead of carrying them. They have a lot of good players who have proven themselves in the playoffs. They may need a slight retooling and keep their core intact to continue competing for championships.

Minnesota is a tough match-up for Dallas and I really hope Luka will heal as much as possible and lead this team to the finals. They finally have a good team and it would drive the anti-white racist blacks absolutely mad if Doncic won the championship one year after Jokic.

Malone did not have his team ready to play in games 2 and 6 and they still had the series in the palm of their hands. He was the reason they lost plain and simple. If players are missing jump shots then pound it inside and or drive to the hoop every time down

Basketball coaches have far less to do with a team’s success than in say, football.

I blame the Denver players as they just couldn’t close the series. Call it fatigue or whatever you want but Minnesota played harder and subsequently won.

Here’s hoping Luka is healthier this series and the Mavs beat the Wolves to go to the Finals.

Luka and Kyrie lead the Mavs to a win in game 1 with 33 and 30 points respectively. Mavs will need at least one other player to step up because Kyrie isn't going to put up 30 very often.

I didn’t love the matchup in this series but awesome job by mavs to win game 1. I figure kyrie is good for one more monster game and if luka can put together two other masterful games, not an outlandish notion, then the mavs can send these odious wolves home for the summer. Maybe they blew their load knocking the nuggets out and are ripe for the picking
