i haven’t seen it mentioned yet, so i’ll drop the info ...

Iowa’s 4x100 relay took second place at the Texas Relays a few days ago with 3 White athletes running. their time of 38.70 was only 0.17 behind first place LSU in a pretty impressive field. i thought “White men can’t run” and that “the Big Ten needs better athletes.”

Yes we missed that brother! A little bit of that white lightning out on that track. Maybe if Iowa had one more lunch box sprinter they
could have won. I love their sports teams which are such a breath of fresh air. One of the few colleges that is fair to our people. :)

Iowa might have won that with a better hand-off between the 3rd runner and the anchor. It looks like the anchor started running too soon.

Abby Steiner wins the 200m at Miramar today, world lead 22.23 wind legal! The announcers are idiots.....

Way to go Coby Hilton. He has such great acceleration from 30 meters and on. To run a wind legal 10.11 at altitude is exciting.
Hopefully it will get his confidence back as his indoor season went down hill after that 6.51 early in the year. The kid has great
speed endurance so the 100 should be better suited for him with his slow to average starts most of the time. Hope he runs a few
200 meters as well.

I'm really anxious to see what German Sprinter Julian Wagner does this outdoor season. He ran in the 6'50's range 5 times this year and
it would have been 6 but he was disqualified for a false start in the finals of the german indoor champs. That's remarkable consistancy
for any sprinter. With his strong start and drive phase I see him breaking his p.b outdoors this year. Hoping for that elusive sub 10. He
ran 10.12 on three occasions last summer and 2 were with little or no wind. I predict at minimum a new p.b. of 10.00 to 10.05 but I
really think this will be the year he breaks the 10 second barrier!

And I'm anxious to see what Samuele Ceccarelli does outdoors. He ran sub 6.50 twice at the world indoor championships. That should put him close to 10 flat or lower.

Let's also not forget the Swedish Sprinter Henrik Larsson who ran in the 6'50's multiple times and broke his indoor personal
best times 2 or 3 times this year. The guy went 10.20 as a 19 year old so he has speed endurance. Injuries have hurt him for the
last 3 years plus so hopefully it's his time to shine. All he needs is to stay healthy but in this sport some guys struggle with that as
your running all out and it's very hard on the body!

Henrik and Wagner have been around for awhile. They are very good sprinters, and might even get better.
But I am most excited about Ceccarelli, because he is new and seemingly has the most potential to break through to the top-tier of sprinting. He's someone who maybe could go sub 10, and also become European 100m Champion.
Whereas, I think Henrik and Wagner are a tier or half-tier below him.
But it's all speculation for the moment.
That's why I want to see what he can do outdoors this season!

For me, the short sprinters that I am most curious about this season are Boling, Steiner, Coby Hilton, Samuele Ceccarelli, Rohan Browning, Charles Dobson, and Amy Hunt. These are the sprinters that I think are most capable of achieving big results.

And on the high school level, Mia Brahe-Pedersen, Gaitlin Bair, and Brody Buffington.

Boling will be 22 in June in just two months from now. Larsson is only 23 years of age. He is just getting started. I agree with many on your
list but Hunt and Dobson are not even in the discussion in my opinion until they can stay healthy. I root for them but they are both very
injury prone. Let's hope this year will turn out different.

True. Hunt and Dobson are both very injury prone, but they have world class potential - in my eyes. That's why they are on my list. I want to see what they can do.
Anyway, let's get the season started already!!

Speaking of Samuele Ceccarealli. I too along with many of us are pumped to see what he can do outdoors. He has a very tough degree and
I don't know how he finds time to train properly. However whatever he is doing is working! Keep it up young man!

I like Mia Brahe-Pedersen as well, been following her progress though the last 3 years or so. Gotta say she has a very unusual physique for sprinting and sprinting fast....quite tall, shorter legs and not much hip ratio....but fast!

Can you please show me the link to where you found this result? I appreciate it. Would love to see a video if someone
uploads it to youtube. Unless your from a upper middle class or rich family in south africa, it's a very hard place to live
with the majority of whites in severe poverty. It's a very sad situation and a dangerous place to live in so many parts of
south africa.
Hi everyone.

Hope you are all well.

South Africa is really bad at the moment. The ANC regime that took over in 1994 has managed to destroy every single government institution in existence. We have always had a semi socialist state with most of the infrastructure companies controlled by the government.

This will include the railways, harbors under the dept of Transport, ESCOM the sole electricity provider in the country, ISCOR the biggest steel manufacturer, DENEL our military technology company, the South African defense, the Police and on and on.....

No private companies are allowed to run a railway company although cargo trains is non existent, no private company may produce power to insert into the power grid and this causes 10 hours of rolling blackouts per day everyday.

Infrastructure maintenance is non existent so everything is going to ****. Corruption is rife.

Sorry, I can keep on complaining but we still have one of the most beautiful countries in the word.

Back to athletics.

Emile tore a tendon in his left foot and he will be operated on next Tuesday to mend the tendon. It is one of the smaller tendons and the prognosis is good for a 100% recovery although there is still a risk. The doctor that looks after him tried to fix this without an invasive procedure but it did not fix the problem. Fortunately we have excellent doctors in the country.

He cannot run for the next 6 months and has decided not to run this year and instead concentrate on recovery.

His support team has a training program for him to prepare for the Olympics next year.

Regards

So sorry about your country and how it's all falling apart. It's amazing how quickly things can go downhill if you don't have the right
people leading you! I personally believe in as little govt. as possible and more power/freedom to the people. Of course the tyranical
leaders of the world never have enough power or money so they refuse to let people have their God Give Freedoms. Things will get worse
not only in your country but all around the world. Hang in there my friend to you, Emile and the rest of your family & friends there.

Sad to here about Emile Erasmus having a major injury. Sometimes life can be so unfair. Never lose faith and tell him to try and enjoy the time off doing things he normally might not have as much time to do. God Speed on his recovery.

Even though your son won't race this year I do hope you can comment on other sprinters if you like. Enjoy having you here. Stay safe.

Austin Kresley of Iowa, 10.10 with 1.0w, today at the Tom Jones Invitational.
That puts Kresley equal to Cole Beck all-time.

At the same meet, but in a different race, Xie Zhenye, also 10.10 with 1.0 wind.

Austin Kresley also ran a 20.07 +2.3 wind so it wont' count but very close to a 20 second wind legal time.

Louie Hinchcliffe - an Asian, perhaps Filipino - from Great Britain, who competes for Washington State, ran 10.22 (1.6w) at Mt Sac Relays.
Yuki Koike of Japan also ran 10.22 (0.6w).

Zach Shinnick who was an incredible 400m runner as a junior, and basically disappeared at college (injuries?), won his heat of the 200m at the Mt Sac relays, in 20.56 (1.8w). Glad to see that he is still competing.

Just noticed that Team USA in the Women's 4x400m relay at the Mt Sac Relays, included Shae Anderson, Jenna Prandini, and Brittany Aveni. Wow!! 3 out of 4 were white.

Thank you for the good wishes. He is in good spirit and has started working fulltime writing apps. We are keeping safe and avoid the areas that are bad. I will keep you updated on the other athletes and send results as they become available. At least we have power running a generator in our blackout times.
