2021 NFL Wildcard Round

I wonder if those picks are because of Gruden or Mayock? Probably both.
If Mayock is given complete control over the draft it will be interesting to see what he does.

Carr forced it to Waler too much. He’s been good but he draws heavy coverage.

Bengals hang on. Burrow got it done. Happy for the kid.

Two more great young white QBs coming up next.

Congrats to the Bengals and head coach Zac Taylor for breaking the playoff streak of ineptitude. It only took Taylor 3 seasons to get a playoff win, as opposed to his predecessor Marvin X, who had 16 seasons to try to no avail.

As an aside, can anyone honestly imagine any White head coach getting 16 seasons and 7 playoff games of failure before getting fired? Marvin X’s tenure lasted double the number of years of any other Bengal coach, and that includes Hall of Famer Paul Brown. He benefited from black privilege as much as nearly anyone alive or dead.

Bengals hang on!!! I have a bet on them to win the Super Bowl. 4 of our guys are there Burrow Hendrickson Hubbard and Wilson!! Hope Hendrickson is okay. Chase at Wr is fantastic also.

Josh Allen showing those wheels at 6'-5" 237!

WOW what a catch by TE Dawson Knox in back corner! Josh Allen new breed of QB!

CONGRATS to Joe Burrow! Bengals first playoff win in 31 years!

Happy for Cincinnati !

Josh Allen is a Freak Athlete!

Hoping Buffalo handles New England. Patriots don't have much to cheer for outside of Jones and Henry.

Jones threw a perfect pass to Bolden who dropped it. I think overall Jones emergence as a rookie is an important story as he bucks all the trends and blows up the narrative being pushed at the QB position. I enjoy watching Jones play the position but the Bills are the easy favorites here for sure.

Harrison Phillips is finally emerging - my guess is that last season he was working back from his 2019 knee injury.

Agreed. Lack of Blue Collar Defenders also pisses me off for NE!

Glad Phillips has emerged as a force on that DL. Matt Milano is pretty underrated at LB too!

Also bummed Pat's can't find a way to get Gunner O involved as a WR!

Wow! I just tuned in. 20-0 already. What happened?

Perfectly thrown pass by Allen!

This is shaping up to be a slaughter. Given how little this edition of the Patriots has to offer outside of Mac Jones and Hunter Henry (and Gunner as a kick returner), I'm enjoying it. Bills-Rams would make for an enjoyable Super Bowl.

Buffalo has the number 1 defense in the NFL. It looks as if their offense is coming around at the right time.

True, though he also benefited from a cheap owner, small media market, and low expectations after the Bengals were the worst franchise in the NFL in the 1990s.
