That's the pattern the Cardinals had when they were in St. Louis, though closer to .500 much of the time. The trope of good for a season or two then a bottom feeder was true of the Chicago Cardinals.

The Cardinals have been owned by three generations of the Bidwill family since 1933. Terrible ownership and the name Bidwill go hand and hand together.

Why keep him on your roster if you're not going to play him? I don't get it.

Even when Hopkins was injured the Cardinals wouldn't play Isabella. They instead turned to someone named Antoine Wesley. And they drafted Rondale Moore in the second round this year, who is two inches shorter than Isabella and supposedly just as fast and who was instantly given heavy usage beginning in the preseason and into the regular season. I just checked his stats and Moore finished 2021 with 54 catches for 435 yards and 1 TD, for a pathetic 8.1 yards per catch average. Even a fullback like Kyle Juszczyk has a career average per catch of 9.4 yards.

Isabella finished '21 with 1 reception. He still has another year on his rookie contract. Maybe The Genius will remember what works and try to arrange a trade for him, otherwise it's another season suffering under Kucksbury, and if so it's unlikely he'll ever get an opportunity as he's already regarded as a bust.

That choice must have been made with non-football reasons as the most important factors?

Watt might have preferred living in Arizona's climate over Buffalo's, but with pro athletes it almost always comes down to one factor no matter how much they pretend they signed because they love the city or love their new team: $

You caught that too!? Ha Cowturd is anti White and worships technocrats. Pretty much the average West Coast Guy now. He's an ass. If I hadn't been banned so much from Twatter I'd get on there and berate him once more.

JJ opted for $$ and weather in AZ.

Had he chose Buffalo or Green Bay, he'd still have a chance at playing for a ring. Instead he opted for a team led by a Midget, and a HC who has never once in his ****** life been around a Good Defense.

His take on the 49ers is pretty bad. He thinks they are a pretty complete team for the future with Lance. Isn’t Trent Williams 35? If anything they are built to win now.

Going off this 49ers have quite a few FAs in '22.

Williams has had a good year but is old.

I think Shanahan will keep Jimmy G for a few more years. Especially if they beat Green Bay this weekend, which they have a good chance to do. I could see them using Lance as trade bait. (Packers should do same with Love).

Nope and as a fellow Wisconsinite who coached him at a youth football camp (I graduated several years before home and came back to help my high school at camp those first couple years) he should have chosen Buffalo or Green Bay if he wanted a super bowl ring. He has tons of money so it likely came down to weather (can’t argue that AZ) is better and Hopkins telling him the team was better than it truly is, ie: a paper tiger.

Rams have a good football team across the board. Kyler Murray getting exposed tonight. He just isn’t a very good quarterback.
Yep, pretty much. He’s ok, but mostly smoke and mirrors. Same with Lamar Jackson; I put them two in the same category..

Isabella is a healthy scratch, as he's been virtually every game this year
Yes sir Don. My bad ...was more of a rhetorical question. Total crap how this lack of a season played out because of Kucksbury!
Will always remember Isabella at U.Mass his monster game vs. SEC UGA! Unstoppable 15 receptions for 219 yards and 2 TD's!

And here is his 88 yard TD catch back in 2019; his Rookie season vs 49ers...even then it was a wonder WHY they were not throwing him the ball more!

The Cardinals also worked out Trey Quinn last week...

Because the guy who was the 1st overall pick with 3 years in the league should be held to lower standards than the guy who was the 15th overall pick and has 1 year in the league. Cowturd logic at its finest.
