Teams who draft kickers and punters are heavily criticized by the MSM. I think it's because kickers and punters are overwhelmingly white.

Fields was way hyped - the DWF favorite. This was a bad performance, Wilson was bad last week as well I agree but Fields was Chicago's black savior black quarterback. Considering how the media dumped on Trubisky I think Fields performance should certainly be held to a higher standard.

Fields looked terrible. His offensive line is bad but he's wildly inaccurate.

Here's his final stat line. It's laughable. I don't recall Mitch Trubisky playing this badly.

Fields' performance on the field should be held to the same standard as any other rookie quarterback no matter the media clatter. And again, it's one game. We're here to root for and celebrate White athletes, and there's a lot to root for and celebrate.
