See Margus Hunt taking some snaps. There was a physical specimen that just never quite took off. He gave us one good year in Indianapolis.

Fields had one of the worst games I’ve ever seen for a QB. 68 pass yards. 67 yards lost via sacks.
 
Justin Tucker with an NFL record 66 yard FG to win the game!!!! I wanted the Lions to win but what a clutch kick by the best kicker in league history!
 
Now the commentators are making excuses for Justin Fields.

Fields played bad and looked bad doing it. It's too early to say for sure but at this rate he's heading for bustdom.
 
Hebert looks primed to take over the AFC West! Mahomes and Mertz certainly look like they have worked out together - sloppy footwork and let that last INT float on him.

It's one game, his first. Zach Wilson looked bad last week, Mac Jones has struggled, let's be fair and give rookie QBs a chance to succeed or fail before dumping on them. In fact, let's focus on all the great play from White men today so far.

Teams who draft kickers and punters are heavily criticized by the MSM. I think it's because kickers and punters are overwhelmingly white.

If the 2012 NFL draft were held today Tucker would deserve to be drafted in the 1st round. In reality he was a UDFA.

Fields was way hyped - the DWF favorite. This was a bad performance, Wilson was bad last week as well I agree but Fields was Chicago's black savior black quarterback. Considering how the media dumped on Trubisky I think Fields performance should certainly be held to a higher standard.

Yea, it’s a shame they have to best kicker. He’s probably going to The Hall when all is said and done.

Fields looked terrible. His offensive line is bad but he's wildly inaccurate.

Here's his final stat line. It's laughable. I don't recall Mitch Trubisky playing this badly.

6/20 30% 68yds 3.4 ypa (lol) ) 0 TDS 0 INT 41.3 QB rating.

Terrible.

Fields' performance on the field should be held to the same standard as any other rookie quarterback no matter the media clatter. And again, it's one game. We're here to root for and celebrate White athletes, and there's a lot to root for and celebrate.
