I thought he’d be faster than that but there’s nothing wrong with a 4.45. And yep it looks like he’s added 10 pounds or so!

Just doing some NFL draft housekeeping. As others have lamented even with all this supposed information out there it's hard to track down any sort of structured pro day reports. It's all just posts on twitter, a collection of twitter posts embedded into another website or websites that only cover the main participants for any teams pro day.

Texas OT Sam Cosmi tested well and past the "arm length test" : HT: 6057 WT: 314 | ARM: 33 | FORTY: 4.87 | BENCH: 36 | VERT: 30 | BROAD: 909 | SHTL: 4.39 | L-DRILL: 7.35 |

Oklahoma C Creed Humphrey (probably one of the best center prospects in the past few years): | HT: 6045 | WT: 312 | FORTY: 5.09 | BP: 29 | VERT: 33 | BROAD: 9.4 | SHTL: 4.46 | L-DRILL: 7.54 |

OT DILLON RADUNZ | HT: 6056 | WT: 301 | FORTY: 5.11 | BP: 24 | VERT: 32 | BROAD: 9.4 | SHTL: | L-DRILL: 7.27 |

UGA OL Ben Cleveland - 30 BPs and a 4.85 40

Sounds like Stanford QB Davis Mills had a quality pro day as well. He has all the tools - ran 4.66 and 4.58 in the 40 as well. Here's a blurb I found on him:

March 18: Don’t forget about Stanford QB Davis Mills
The quarterback conversation surrounding this draft has been fixated — rightly so — on the top four passers in this class. One of the underneath guys, though, made sure no one forgot about him Thursday afternoon.

Stanford quarterback Davis Mills went through his pro day workout in front of more than 50 scouts. Even with some nasty weather, Mills seemed to get plenty accomplished.

The 6-foot-4, 225-pounder turned in, per Stanford, a 40-yard dash time of 4.58 seconds before taking the field and going through an extensive throwing workout in a rain storm. Mills was a former five-star recruit (ranked as the No. 1 overall pro-style quarterback in 2017) but wound up with only 11 starts in college, all in 2019 and 2020.

“Davis is from Georgia, he’s played in thunderstorms that look nothing like this,” Stanford coach David Shaw said on NFL Network. “His grip on the ball never wavered. You see the ball pop off his hand, the deep balls and underneath throws.

“There’s something natural that you have to see in an NFL quarterback. I think Davis has that.”

Still, Mills has plenty of physical ability. His feet are outstanding and while he wasn’t too much of a run threat in college he does have more than enough foot speed to move the pocket and avoid rushers in the passing game. He has improvisational skills and is efficient with most of his underneath throws, which was on display during Thursday’s rain-soaked workout.

The Athletic’s Dane Brugler slotted Mills as his No. 6-ranked quarterback in this class, behind Alabama’s Mac Jones and the top four of Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields, Zach Wilson and Trey Lance. A Day 2 landing spot certainly seems possible.

“He answered the bell,” NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah said after Mills’ workout. “A lot of pressure on Davis Mills. Only 11 starts, no combine, no all-star games. This was his one shot and I thought he crushed it. A really clean, really pure throwing session in the rain.

“Today really could not have gone any better for Davis Mills.”

Don - not trying to be negative but just want to use this black player as an example of being a beneficiary of the caste system. The scouting report is essentially full of lies if you compare it to his workout numbers.

https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/paris-ford/FxN9EWWnQl

Paris Ford had a 28.5 in vert, 4.90/4.83 40 times. A name to watch come draft day to see if his skin color gets him drafted as blatant example of the caste system.

That's perfectly fine, that's what this site is about when it's at its best. Put the numbers down in black and white and show the disparate treatment, that's powerful and effective and is what we've been trying to do from the beginning.

What I'm referring to is the gratuitous degrading of Blacks individually and as a group over and over again in situations that often aren't even related to sports. A lot of it is mean-spirited and malicious. Everyone knows blacks have a high crime rate, that inner cities are dysfunctional for a variety of reasons. There's no need to repeat it and dwell on it endlessly. Many blacks born into negative situations are working very hard to improve themselves. How would those of us here have turned out had we been born into a ghetto dominated by gangbangers and raised by a single mother? The White illegitimacy rate is higher than the Black illegitimacy rate prior to the 1960s. The Black family has been systematically destroyed by the same forces now destroying the White family.

How does gratuitously bashing Blacks help a White athlete get a college football scholarship? It doesn't, in fact it turns off people who might otherwise be receptive if we concentrated more on rooting for White athletes and promoting deserving ones while objectively criticizing the Caste System. How does it "recruit" anyone to our cause? It doesn't unless our cause is to aspire to never be more than a marginalized group of anonymous posters safely ranting from the comfort of our computers. It's easy to write inflammatory things when you're anonymous; it's far different when you put your name in the public square.

I'm referring to a small group of posters, not most. But we definitely have a group who are here mostly to show their dislike of Blacks (and sometimes Jews) whenever possible, and that type of posting is a detriment to the site as it fulfills the negative stereotypes of racially aware Whites and plays into the power structure's divide and conquer agenda.

The posting rules state this: "No racial or ethnic slurs or attacks on White nationalities, and no religious slurs. An honest dialogue about sports and race by definition will include negative observations about an individual or race, but if your objective is simply to attack a group of people go elsewhere."

Not complicated, easy to follow. That's what we need to do, and I'll take blame for letting too much stuff slide in the past. But genuine thinkers need to understand the current battle for survival is populism versus globalism, it's the 1% versus the middle and working class, it's freedom and traditional values versus totalitarianism, communism and trans-humanism. Alliances need to be built and acted on based on these facts. These are the realities and the alliances that brought hundreds of thousands of Trump supporters to Washington twice, maybe even a million, not Black and Jew bashing. There ain't gonna be no "White awakening," at least in the traditional sense, that ship has sailed for a variety of reasons I've mentioned before and is now a non-starter. We need to be smarter and wiser, which includes being pragmatic and reaching out to potential allies of different types of backgrounds. That's how politics works, that's how change happens.

I see why Davis Mills was so highly rated coming out of HS!

Also some superb numbers from our OL prospects. One of the most athletic snow plow classes I can recall.

“Wallow put up 22 reps of 225 pounds, had a 32.5-inch vertical leap, 10’2” broad jump, a 4.65 40-yard dash with a 1.64 10-yard split and a 2.68 20-yard split, a 4.12 shuttle and a 6.87 three-cone drill.”

Solid pro day for TCU LB Garret Wallow! Slot receiver type of agility and quickness, should be a solid mid round pick for a team.

Don, whole heartedly-agree with your post. We are currently in a populism versus globalism literal battle for our lives... and the lives of our children.

Little by little people are waking up. But it remains a slow process. Time is not on our side. Battle lines have been drawn and we will need allies of all races and creeds to combat the forces of global totalitarian Marxist regimes.

Rice WR Austin Trammell has a pro day on April 9. He played in only 3 games (Rice only played 5, he missed 2 due to undisclosed reasons), but posted an impressive 16/335/6 stat line. One team, the Falcons, has already showed early interest. During Arthur Smith's 2 years as OC in Tennessee, he loved using Adam Humphries, but he struggled staying healthy. Trammell definitely deserves to play a big role somewhere in the league.

Will definitely be keeping an eye on that Rice pro day. Thanks for the reminder. Be awesome to see him go sub 4.5

Thanks, I'm glad somebody acknowledged it. It wasn't written off the cuff but is based on a lot of knowledge and wisdom painfully gained over the years.

Mac Jones getting smeared by Matt Hasselback. Not a good enough athlete apparently.

I hate how there is so much focus on Top QBs and nary discussion of the middle and bottom of the class.. No discussion on Ehlinger, Mills, Buechle, Book etc.

And what does Lance have over the last three you mentioned?
Certainly not games played or competition. Dominating in the Dakotas?

Great...Draft Zenner next time a kid like that comes around....

49ers trade up to number 3. Will it be to displace another white quarterback in Jimmy G? Or the poly sumo?

BYU QB Zach Wilson had his pro day today and was exceptional. By all accounts he is now most likely to go 2nd overall behind Lawrence.

Other notable workouts:

WR Dax Milne 4.54 40
OT Brady Christensen 4.89 40, 34-inch vertical, 124-inch broad jump and 30 reps on the bench press. His broad jump is supposedly the best all time for an offensive lineman.
LB/S Zayne Anderson with a 4.46 40

Here's some caste system scout double speak and it's very timely considering the workout numbers I just mentioned on Brady Christensen. I'd like to hear @Phall 's thoughts on this Michigan player. This snippet of "expert analysis" comes from The Athletic :

"Offensive tackle Jalen Mayfield (6-5, 326) ran a 5.31-second 40-yard dash with a 7.86-second 3-cone time. Mayfield had a 28 1/2-inch vertical leap and an 8-foot broad jump. He did not bench press; his wingspan measured at 79 6/8 inches.

Mayfield could be one of the top tackles off the board, possibly in the first round. He was a full-time starter at right tackle for Michigan in 2019 but played in only two games as a redshirt sophomore last season. His experience is limited but his athletic potential is high."

So Mayfield is a doughy slob, runs slow, has short arms - 32 inch arms for a white OL is an instant move to interior OL and a bump down a few rounds, no explosiveness as shown by his vertical jump and broad jump but they still consider him to have upside. What a joke!

Here are FB Ben Mason's numbers. He could easily be an RB in the NFL:

Height: 6-2
Weight: 246
Hand: 9 3/8 inches
Wing: 77 7/8 inches
Arm Length: 32 5/8 inches
40-Yard Dash: 4.72 seconds
Vertical Jump: 37 1/2 inches
Broad Jump: 9-9
3-Cone Drill: 6.97 seconds
Pro Agility: 4.44 seconds
60-Yard Shuttle: 12.1 seconds
Bench: 29 reps

Good workout for The BYU crew! Impressed with Anderson's 4.46 after all the injuries! Sub 4.4 guy if not for the injuries? Really makes you think. Could easily be the next Sorensen.

Great workout for Christiansen as well. Nice job with the example @Leonardfan . Raiders should take a look at him in 2-3rd.

Milne I'd say didn't hurt his stock(4.6+) so I'd say he solidifies himself as a Rd 4-7 guy.

BEAST workout for Mason! Harbaugh should have utilized him better. Would have been awesome to see what he could have done as a Badger..

Mayfield admittedly had me fooled about his race for more than half of his abridged Michigan career. He has a sort of pale, flushed, pinkish complexion. Mayfield was supposed to be an anchor for the offensive line this past season, but got dinged up after two games. Rumors flared that he was "done" with the team (once Michigan started losing), and soon after, he did in fact quit the team to focus on his pro career. I thought it was odd that a white player would give up on his teammates midseason: I remember one of the Bosa brothers left before the end of a season rather than rush back from injury, but they were both slotted as top-3 picks and had plenty to lose. Usually, it's much more of a black player thing.

It was actually reading the message boards in a fit of offseason boredom where I learned about a tweet from Mayfield's mom that someone or other wasn't "down for the struggle" or some such nonsense. I clicked through and discovered the family photo that Mayfield is actually an Obama. (Both his white mom and black dad are the size of walruses and will likely be doing their grocery shopping in mobility scooters if either lives to age 65).

Anyway, my report on Mayfield is that he is a lazy underachiever with a selfish attitude who shirks responsibility and would be a locker room net negative. As I recall, he had one or two strong games in 2019 against decent competition as a right tackle, but he was by no means flawless. The expected learning curve improvement never manifested on the field. He is definitely not a road grader in the run game, and I'd be concerned that he didn't bench.

---

Ben Mason is by all accounts a ferocious player and impressive specimen. He actually scored 7 touchdowns in 2018 in the battering ram role. Nicknamed "Bench" for his diligent workout habits, it was a guarantee he would test well.

In 2019, Harbaugh hired black offensive coordinator Josh Gattis to run his "speed in space" playbook. No one really knows what that is, since it's been two years of scattershot playcalling, but that's beside the point. The trend was toward black receivers and away from blocking tight ends, and fullbacks are definitely not allowed. Mason was asked to switch positions, as white players often are, so he beefed up to about 270 and joined the defensive tackle rotation. The idea was to keep his athleticism on the field in some capacity, but as Mason was undersized and lacking technique, the experiment was not a success. Mason was invited to reprise his role at fullback in a pinch in the third game of the season against Wisconsin. An unfortunate fumble inside the five yard line, the only fumble of his career, kept Michigan off the scoreboard on its first drive, and Wisconsin went on to win in a blowout. We know the rule for white skill position players fumbling or dropping a pass: they never play again. Mason finished out the season as an unused DT.

In 2020, Mason returned to his natural role of smashmouth blocker. He showcased his agility as flipped his way into the endzone in Week One for a highlight reel touchdown. Unfortunately, he only received one other touch throughout the shortened season, being employed exclusively as a (very effective) run blocker. Even this concession was either begrudgingly employed by Gattis, or overruled and enforced by Harbaugh. Who knows or cares?

I imagine Mason has the sort of attitude and presence as someone like Larry Csonka. There's no reason to believe he can't hit the holes just as hard in a straight-line running role. Realistically, he's auditioning for a role as a special teams beast and occasional gadget player. I'd put him higher on my draft board than Mayfield.

This whole arm length crap is used to "stack" whites at G and especially C. While I do admit arm length helps- it's not the end-all, be-all. Joe Thomas had only 32" arms but his flawless technique, hand use, and strength more than compensated. I'd be very concerned about an OL not benching. Anyway the "stacking" is part of how OL are darkening- moving a lot of promising young tackles to the interior, something that starts in college and then continues to the NFL level.

I agree, arm length doesn't mean jack sh*t if you're a complete lardass with poor footwork. I was discussing some of the Dolphins sumos at work yesterday with a co-worker. He was saying that the team did a good job drafting sumos Robert Hunt and Solomon Kindley. I told him I begged to differ, especially on Kindley who started off OK, but was then later exposed as just a giant sack of marshmallows due to his lack of strength and poor footwork. I also explained how he graded out ranked 38 out of 40 players at his position. That certainly isn't good, yet DWF's are still high on this guy.

Arm Length is one of the most overrated traits. Strength, technique, power, footwork are all much more necessary then having long arms yet much like the 40 for skill positions arm length has become a default requisite for playing OL and DL. Typically when a white OL performs well on the bench the "experts", dwfs, draftniks all state that "oh he has short arms though" so it's easier for him to bench press. No mention of a players work ethic, ability or dedication in the weight room to get the strength. I've grown jaded and tired of the same old predictable story year after year and outside of this site no one questions it.

I'd think Borsa turned some heads with that workout! Should land him in a camp.
