Purdue seems to always have Iowa's number. Petras is the weak link for Iowa.
I agree, if Iowa wants to compete with the big dogs they’re going to need to recruit top QB’s. They never seem to have a QB that can really sling it and make big plays.

Gunner Romney big time catch! (3 - 81)

Iowa's Charlie Jones electric 41 yard punt return!

With Iowa losing the media and committee will make every excuse in the book to get Oklahoma, Ohio state and Alabama back into the top 4

Todays loss was just awful for Iowa. A Complete Shamble of a game. Neither the offense or defense did much to get excited about. So frustrating. How many chances to you have
a team to be the number 3 team sitting at 6-0 at home and you just lay an egg. They never showed up. Yes Purdue does seem to be in their head on a routine basis. Even more of
a reason that they should have been ready to play. A loss is fine but to get blown out to an unranked team at home hurts bad! Feel really sad for all the Iowa Hawkeye Fans and
also for us here on this board. I never dreamed today would be the day they would lose bad. It's ok. Regroup and finish the season strong. Let's see what happens.

Pretty boring week so far for most of our guys.
Doesn’t help that Kyle Phillips is missing this game due to injury.

New Mexico WR Luke Wysong has 92 kick return yards and also a 63 yard punt return TD!

It looks like Spencer Rattler is probably out of a job.

Good. I was browsing some other sites/comment sections and it sounds like Rattler has a poor/entitled attitude. He was on one of those football docudrama shows (like Last Chance U) and I guess it did not paint him in a good light. His stock might be toast. Both he and Ugabooga for Clemson have been huge disappointments when compared to the hype the media gave them entering the season.

Stanford has no defense or run game. Seems that the well has run dry for Shaw.

I'm so relieveed to see Borghi back healthy and lighting up the scoreboard. He is electrifying to watch in the open field. It will be exciting to see him
in the NFL sometime in the near future!

I watched the last 1/3 of the debacle in Iowa City, holy cow talk about the rugs taken out and beaten, only taking Ferentz out to midfield for a defenestration was left out. The announcers might get a memo from College Caste Central Committee for their talking up Horvath as needed for the Boilermakers making a run at the pitiful BT West. I'm kind of surprised that the play by play guy a man who might have an "Early Life" story on Wiki did not forcefully shut down Dusty D. for talking up a dominant white RB. I wonder if Moss could have shut down Ball, what I saw was pitch and catch for him and the QB.

Carson Strong continues his very good 2021 campaign. His knee injury worries me some but his arm strength his very apparent. He is also a very accurate deep ball thrower - he had a 50 yard pass to a WR in stride for a TD and of course the ball bounced right off the WRs facemask.

It looks like Corral is building momentum for the Heisman showing off dual threat capability. For anyone questioning Corral's racial background here is a pic with his mother/father through the years...looks to be a White QB to me.

Leo Chenal had 17 tkls and a sack! Sanborn had 12. Nelson had 11. CJ Goetz had 7tkls and 1.5 sacks!

Only 1 carry for Schipper and Mertz still sucks.

Watch the LSU defenders on this Hail Mary pass, it's one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen during a football game:
