what an outstanding display of athleticism by the big men for Iowa on that play. LaPorta is obviously excellent, but how about the o-linemen running downfield and picking up those blocks?! AWESOME!!!
 
I haven’t heard about Kentuckys qb discussed much seems to be a powerhouse along with their runningback (black) Rodriguez hammering Iowa.

Levis, the Kentucky qb, is playing a gutsy game. he’s tough, big, and mobile. if he were playing on the Iowa side of the ball, this game would be a blowout.

Very awesome! One big man down now. They should have ran a fullback dive.
 
Crap. Iowa gets conservative and can't get a first down. I can't stand watching teams completely shut it down like that. Linderbaum, Iowa's best player injured.

Not prevent defense. Prevent offense. It's either on the HC or OC to go conservative on the offense Six straight dives up the middle with 10 in the box. If Iowa loses it's on the HC
 
Damnit Kentucky wins. Would have been huge optics win for us.

Not the player's fault. This loss is on the COACH!!!!! Why don't these guys ever learn???
 
at some point you have to score points if you want to win. Iowa’s defense kept them in the game, but i many turnovers and an anemic passing game (aside from LaPorta) was too much to overcome against a tough, physical offensive Kentucky team.

Iowa being Iowa? No faith in Petras? Idk very frustrating, Ferentz deserves heat for blowing that one, no doubt about it.

Thank you Bucky!! Frustrating? I'm steaming. Iowa was the better team and Coach puckered up!!
 
At least Wisconsin won but even that was an ugly game. Iowa is in my opinion our favorite team here on the board outside of Clemson. Wisconsin and
a few others could be mentioned too. It was a game that Iowa has to win. What a waste of a good season to lose to a less talented Kentucky Team. I agree
that Petras never has been the answer at qb. He is an average qb and a good kid but they need to do better.
