Britian Covey TD! Worth the price of admission! One of my favorite college players!
TE Brandt Kuithe is the George Kittle version of college football! A Grown man run!
DB Cole Bishop...just a Freshman ; has the look of a Future NFLer...
Too bad DB Nate Ritchie is not playing....

Malcolm Rodriguez is a Pit bull!

Iowa will need to find a legit QB if they ever want to be elite!

Iowa being Iowa? No faith in Petras? Idk very frustrating, Ferentz deserves heat for blowing that one, no doubt about it.
I hear ya dude but he has a damn near all white defense plus a couple good blacks at db’s. The alternative to Ferentz is probably not good. They need a damn quarterback!!

After watching almost the entire game, I'm no Petras fan either, however Petras had nothing to do with the play calling. Iowa's OC Brian Ferentz, the coach's son called 6 straight dive plays into a defense that had 9-10 in the box with over 7 minutes to go in the game. Petras made some bad decisions and fumbled a crucial snap. This is on the HC Ferentz and his son Brian the OC. Iowa fans are already calling for B. Ferentz to be fired.
Petras did throw 3 INT's, though one was a fluke, and yes they need another QB. Also, Petras I understand was playing injured.
It frustrates me when OC's start playing conservative when they think the game is over if they just run out the clock. No way they're running off over 7 minutes when everyone in the stadium and watching on TV including my daughter knows what play you're going to run.
BTW, thanks for the Mayer HL video.

O ya agreed. Not calling for Ferentz's head. Would just like them and Wisconsin to open it up, but not lose their established physical identity, Still a good 10 win season for Hawkeyes.

I agree CS he should have gone for a fullback dive on that late 4th and 1. Pettibaum is almost automatic in short yardage. What is the alternative to ferentz a Ryan Day type? Once Ferentz is gone I fear it will be pure caste. Iowa and Wisconsin can still operate a old school offense but to be in national title contention they need a top Qb. It is mind blowing that Iowa and Wisconsin can’t get a couple top drop back passers every year.

Utah's head coach should have had Bryson Barnes (freshman) throw a pass on the first play he was in the game on 2nd and 17 after Rising went out hurt. Instead they ran the ball twice for 15 yards then punted and OSU scored a TD on the next drive. Barnes threw a TD on his second drive, but he only had 2 drives. Barnes threw the ball 4 times. He was 2 for 2 with 23 yards passing. The other 2 were called for defensive pass interference. Barnes also had a carry for 10 yards. A good performance for the freshman.

Does Ole Miss actively want to sabatoge John Rhys Plumlee? He might be the most dynamic athlete in all of college football - dominated as a freshman and the dumbass coach can’t figure out how to get him on the field?

it’s as if the mantra “the best players play” isn’t true or something ...

to think Britain Covey is STILL as explosive as he is after all his injuries, just imagine how athletic he was in his prime. i wonder if he is considering trying to pursue a career in football or if his body has had enough ... he sure is fun to watch.

Yep he declared for the NFL draft a couple weeks ago, somehow he still has a year of eligibility left!

I still don't understand what Plumlee is thinking. What he did to LSU his freshman year and he can't start somewhere on the Ole Miss offense? I believe I would've transferred after my sophomore year. Worse case, go down to D-1AA and dominate and get an NFL look from there.
He also plays baseball, but I don't think he's a full-time starter.

Agreed. JRP has too much faith in Kiffin. He should have got out of Dodge last off-season!

North Dakota st. is playing right now. The “Majestic Beast” Luepke just scored. I’ll try to find the video. The announcers also commented that Troy Anderson was probably the fastest player on the field at 6’4 240 lb.

Bennett needs to have a big game here. Really poor first drive - one delay of game, one sack, one almost lost fumble. Hopefully its all out of his system now
