Agreed, all of the "draft experts" tote the the caste party line. They were all pissed because they had him pegged as a 4.6 guy and he came in and blazed a 4.4! Doesn't fit their caste script. Muse is a beast! Harrison Smith comparison is not that far off. Athletically he also reminds me of big Wyoming safety John Wendeling, who had a cup of coffee in NFL, but deserved more.

John Wendling played seven seasons (7) in the NFL. Mostly as a WSTD. That's more then a cup of coffee.

Eh true,I suppose I should have clarified. With his size/athleticism should have been a no doubt starter throughout those 7 season's. Not just regulated to Special Teams duty. A waste of a 6'3 230lb guy with 40+ inch Vert!

Comparing Isiah Simmons favorably to Brian Urlacher is in any which way or form a joke. I have some doubts about Simmons and I would not draft him in the first round. I think the Giants GM who has drafted the likes of CM and Daniel Jones is too smart to fall for that trap. The Giants need an OL in the worst way.

It is too bad this draft will be grim. The better the draft the more enjoyable they are to follow here at CF. I get a kick out of reading the running commentary and the last two drafts were particularly memorable here.

That said a few members are missing in action of late including Sapient and RTTAS. Frequent posters like CrazyFinn and Deceptive Speed readily come to mind as MIA. And our Patriots beat reporter Thrashen didn't even chime in on the recent Gronkowski news so something is amiss there. I do anticipate La France Blanche piping in. She is always good for a laugh.

Nine linebackers chosen would be a pleasant surprise. I am just hoping it is at the very least the top seven listed up above which might even be a stretch? Will be awfully disappointed if Toohill doesn't get drafted. I agree Woodward will be a steal.

One thought regarding WR Chris Finke whose chances of getting drafted aren't great but not impossible I suppose. About 30% chance. I have bitterly complained about him foolishly running at the combine while injured but perhaps it was all a smokescreen? Maybe he had an under the table agreement with a team who knew that was a bogus 40 time? Grasping at straws here but one must hold onto some hope before these drafts just to keep the spirits up if only for a brief time.

Even if Simmons turns out to be a very good player, saying that he's better than an all-time great like Urlacher is laughable, but par for the course from the jock-sniffers.

Between emergency duties (RN) because of the Corona and having three young children, I haven't had much time to post. I've still been following the draft as much as time allows.

No doubt about it. Simmons is better than Urlacher and Tua is on par with Drew Brees. 2 lies that have been repeated throughout this draft process.

This draft's gonna be a huge propaganda vehicle for the party line, namely that Covid-1984 is a plague and everyone must continue to imprison themselves in their homes to defeat it while the economy is wrecked, and that we are all one united family, even as we watch a small branch of that family elevated once again well above all others.

Every commercial break on the food network is the same. Celeb chefs telling us we're all united together at home. LOL once you notice the propaganda, impossible to not notice.

If we really were all united together, (((they))) wouldn't have to keep saying it. It's exactly like how they have to keep saying that there's a "scientific consensus" on "climate change." Nobody has to say there's a scientific consensus that the earth is round, because everybody knows there actually is a consensus on that.

P.S. Good for Joe Burrow and good on the Bengals for letting him know in advance.

The Bengals do the smart thing and take Joe Burrow . He should be a star. It may have seemed obvious but teams have screwed up obvious picks before.

Giants go OL. Good sign they're confident in their current LB crew.

Well, Tua it is. Breathing a sigh of relief it wasn’t Jordan Love

Wow. I can't believe the Dolphins took Tua with his injury history. They should have taken Herbert!

Will the Chargers screw up and pass on Herbert?

I don't follow nfl much, but obviously the powers that be have decided white qbs have won too many games. They are even trying to replace OLs right? A position not typically known for it's glory, whats next? Kickers?

Nice pick by the Chargers.

Now, what's the over/under on how many picks go by before the next White is taken?

Yay! Chargers take Justin Herbert, the second best quarterback prospect in the draft!

That's what I was thinking. When will the next white player be taken? OT Ezra Cleveland is the only one I've seen projected to go in round one and even he might fall...

Yes, Herbert to the Chargers feels kind of right. He stays on the west coast and gets to follow HOFer Philip Rivers. Hopefully it’ll be like when the Peyton Manning passed the proverbial torch to Andrew Luck.

Cleveland, possibly Kmet? Lemeiux or Biadasz? Could get ugly after this.

Pretty sure Simmons is going to Carolina.
