Had a 20 yard run, a few negative runs.....
Running back by committee, but he’s one of them.......

Yes indeed Rocky ...thought about starting a Week 0 thread ...but didn't due to lack of games..
They nicknamed Tailback Joe Alessi "See ya" because of his speed! Even the announcers said "he had something extra on the other RB's"

Samford 6'- 3" WR Robert Adams (Jr.) caught a 55 yard TD pass earlier.

Villanova new QB Daniel Smith (transfer from Campbell) had 205 yards passing & 3 TD's + 37 yards rushing & TD

Lots of games coming up this week.....
Directv now has the ACC network.
Wake Forest games....We need 1200 yards out of Carney this year......
I wish they had Pac games. Borghi/WSU not slated for tv Saturday.....(that I see)

Man I feel bad for the kid, has only played in 13 total games in his 3 years of college and has suffered season ending injuries in all 3. He also tore his ACL and missed his whole junior year of high school. Reminds me of his former teammate Mike Dudek who had 4 season ending injuries and 3 ACL tears at Illinois after a promising start.

When Epstein plays he plays well, averaging 6.4 yards per carry for his career and having 800+ rushing yards in basically enough games for 1 full season.

I will be attending the Wake Forest/UNC game tonight at 6:00. Hopefully I will get to watch Cade Carney as he was out with an undisclosed illness last week.
Also, is Sam Howell all white? They showed his mother a couple of weeks ago against South Carolina, but not his father. Is his father mixed or of some other race? Could someone post a photo of Sam's father?
Thanks.

Pissed that Carney is still out and the sophomore qb has been relegated to backup....
Borghi doesn’t get many touches, so for a running back guy, this game is tough to watch...
Rooting for Washington St vs Houston, for sure..
Glines got a carry for BC, must’ve been an end around (9 yards)

please pardon the double post, but SMU true freshman tailback, TJ McDaniel, is playing lights out. with the final seconds of play ticking away, he has 8 carries for 159 yards and 3 touchdowns. an outstanding performance (even if it is against weak competition)!

Awesome.....I’ve been checking in on him and figured he would redshirt....
TJM and a Remsberg is the best news of the weekend.....
Let’s get Carney back and Borghi some carries next week....Yale is starting soon, also
Horvath for Purdue hasn’t had a hole to run through since the first quarter of the first game....Watching Jaxson Anthrop reminds me of his brother Danny and how they both had to move to a caste position....

Thought he'd Redshirt too Rocky...or surely would have included McDaniel on 1st Post!

Yes indeed Jimmy C...some explosive highlights from fast-twitch athlete TJ McDaniel ...impressive is right no matter the opponent!

1st TD @ 14 seconds...2nd TD @ 1:05...3rd TD @ 1:31

ESPN announcers giving Air Force’s Kaden Remsberg a LOT of praise for his elite speed (10.64 in the 100-meters). they’ve not broached the subject of why/how he ended up at the Academy, however.

The Journal Sentinel giving props to Groshek out of Wisconsin, behind the paywall so I just glimpsed the headlines. Usually the fourth string black RB with an amputated leg would get more props that just about any white player but I understand the paper is part of the USA Today narrative generator.

It was a shame Groshek couldn't play the second half against Michigan. It would have finally given him, I think, a chance to consistently get touches. As it is he is very efficient so far. His stat lines read rushing- 13-67 and receiving-5-62. He averages a nifty 8.3 every time he touches the ball. Going forward the hope is he gets more touches and perhaps down the road the NFL will take notice.

A buddy of mine thinks he's destined to be a Patriot.

Wow very surprising to see our RB’s having way better stats than the WR’s this year. And yes Drake Anderson is mixed, his father is former NFL RB Damien Anderson.

Wow that wasn't even close lol (regarding Drake Anderson). I have a feeling his back-field mate at Northwestern (Fr) RB Evan Hull 5'11 190 is black as well, with Hull being 1/4 black or less I honestly assumed he was white up until now.
