Great run down off all of the RBs everyone. The cupboard is not as bare as I was expecting at the RB spot with guys like Oulette and Laird exhausting their eligibility. It actually seems to be fairly deep and Dudek, Epstein and Gest all returning from lost 2018 seasons due to injury.

Another service academy RB to keep an eye on his Connor Slomka. Andy Davidson was royally screwed after having almost 1k yards (961 in 2016) - his role was reduced in 2017 and 2018 and he has graduated from the USMA. Hopefully Slomka gets an increase in carries this year.

The Wexford Slegehammer.....
Pittsburgh kid....
He’s had a lot of good games the last couple years....
It just got so hard for me to watch Army football once Davidson was benched....
Hopefully he starts and gets 20 carries per game......
Ourlads has him as the starter this year.....
Go Army

Don’t give up on Beau Bisharat at Colorado...
Highly touted back, snubbed Stanford (we all agree that was a mistake).
One of you noticed he’s been moved to tight end now that there’s a new caste coach in town.....Even though Lindsey and the grad transfer guy are gone and they are thin at RB..
Let’s see how the summer unfolds....What a waste of talent for three years.... Who in all of hell talked this kid into playing football at CU???.....He could’ve gone to dozens of big schools and played (at least a little) from day one......

Listed as 2nd on the Wyoming depth chart..... not as a fullback

He should have transferred immediately when position change was brought up. Even 1 successful year at a smaller school is better than this crap.

Thank you for the additions!

I should have included Weber State RB Josh Davis in 1st post...he appeared on " CF Weekly RECAPS" w Big Stats as the year went on! Seems he should be on the NFL Radar after winning Jerry Rice Award (see Cooper Kupp)...but as mentioned above ; Nall & Laird not Drafted & FCS RB's(Bragalone ; Proethroe; etc) basically ignored

Nice find RB on Butler's Brad Snazjder! Good All -purpose Back!...included him a few times in Weekly updates....130 FBS Schools is challenge enough...adding125 FCS teams? (255 total) can be very time consuming!

I always expect to see a few big time RB's out West making big impacts ....players that come to mind...
Kyle Bell...Colorado State
Chance Kretschmer 0'1 / Luke Lippincott '07...Nevada
Luke Staley...BYU
Ryan Nall...Oregon State
Brock Forsey ....Boise State
Patrick Laird...Cal
McCaffrey/Gerhart/Gaffney....Stanford

Out of HS was hoping Beau Bisharat could be included one day ; Colorado looks to stay mostly irrelevant (but LB- Landman is a stud)....he could have possibly played the old school Brad Muster-role at Stanford. Agreed...head to Northern Colorado w Gadek or any other nearby FCS school so you don't have to sit out the year!

Maybe the Peyton Hillis effect will come into play ; & Wyoming's Jeff Burroughs will be in Weekly Box Scores!

Yes indeed Leonardfan; Connor Smolka impressed when given the chance!

Ryan Quigley
(Sr.) 5'-11" 210 Princeton....looks to be the Break -out Feature Back this season...ONLY 8 TD's & 711 yards rushing in his career..BUT 5.7 AVG per carry!! (113 yards rushing on just 11 carries vs. Yale last season)
Quigley_Lafayette211.JPG

Troy Andersen (Jr.) 6'-3" 215 Montana State....Started at RB & QB & Linebacker! Bobcats version of Taysom Hill; last season 1,412 yards rushing & 24 TD's! ....as Freshman in '17 ..1st Freshman RB to start at MSU in 27 years! >>As of Spring said he was going to start at QB...STAY TUNED! Article says NFL could try him at LB?? ESPN still list him as a RB!

I watched Troy Anderson play a few times....Didn’t know about the possible switch to RB...
Plays bigger than 215.....One tough football player......

Cole Dubots should be backing up Borghi at Wash St this year.
They have a fullback that may get some reps, as well (Markoff)
Once the freshmen arrive this summer, things may change.....but not Borghi. He’s starting.

Borghi has so much upside it's just incredible to think about? He is by far my favorite running back in the Pac 12 since CMac and then Toby Gerhart before that. Good to see a stud running back
at a school besides Stanford. Maybe the tide is slowly shifting our way. I doubt it but we have to remain positive.

I'm still so pissed off at the treatement of P. Laird and AJ. Oullette. They both deserve to not only play on Sundays but be starting running backs. The NFL is scared to have too many white rb's
disprove the myths and stereotypes. Just like with outside receivers. They hold the whites down there too! The NFL stands for one thing in my mind and you guys know what that is.

Arkansas St. CC transfer

Second string......will play
Wow he DOMINATED juco last year! He will definitely be a guy to watch, he has a great opportunity to make an instant impact. Seems Christian McCaffrey-like with his 1200+ rushing yards AND 750+ receiving yards last year at his community college.

Came across this blurb on Otto Zaccardo RB for Syracuse. Sounds like he is a WSTD but perhaps he will get a chance to get some carries this year.

The Athletic's Bruce Feldman lists Syracuse senior RB Otto Zaccardo on his annual "Freaks List."
Zaccardo (5'10/210) has eight career carries, operating as a special teamer for the Orange. His workout numbers, ironically, are special. Zaccardo can do 28 225-pound bench reps, can squat 615 pounds, and runs a 4.51-second forty. That's crazy, but he's still way off the draft radar. To earn more looks from scouts, he'll have to be a bigger part of the offense.

I just noticed that BYU officially has rb Jackson McChesney back on their roster after what seemed like a 5 year Mormon mission. I was never a huge fan of his high school highlights but quite a few recruiting sites had him pretty highly ranked. I hope he dazzles at camp next month.
One quick question. Now that BYU has gone mostly Poly and Black on defense how is it that I have never once read about one of the other races volunteering to go on what I thought was a " mandatory " mission for 2 years?

A few more side notes. Maryland's Jake Funk is in a bad situation. He is very talented but unfortunately has a good number of other talented black rbs with him. The situation looks the same for Virginia Tech's for Coleman Fox and Cole Beck. Beck just ran a wind legal 10.22 100 meters arguably making him the fastest player in the NCAA yet he is like 6th on the rb depth chart. With that kind of speed and pedigree he should at least be first in line to be returning kickoffs. I hope it still works out for Bisharat but I am not holding my breath.

You have to be a practicing Mormon to go on a mission. You don't have to be a practicing Mormon to go to BYU.

The most famous example of a non Mormon is Jim McMahon who was nominally Catholic, the famous line about him was how did he not violate the honor code within minutes of setting foot on the campus.......

Good news yet to be sorted out. Red shirt freshman , Samson Evans , will stay at rb for Iowa. We have been talking about him for over a year now and there was a serious question as to whether he would stay at rb or move to wr. Iowa already has about 7 or 8 white wr's on scholarship that could start for most D1 teams. Cooper, Marchese, Raigani , Jones, and specifically Oliver Martin should tear it up this year. I think Martin has the most NFl potential out of the group solely based on his high school highlights. Add in cb Riley Moss whom I think will have a Dustin Fox ( junior year ) in 2020 and this is clearly the least caste team I can think of in quite sometime.

Tru Wilson (SR) 5’10” 202lbs Michigan
Dark skinned white/hispanic walk on from Michigan. He sat his first 2 years and got some playing time last year as the 3rd string RB. Last year he had 394 all-purpose yards and scored a TD. He worked as the starter in spring but will likely not be the main guy when the season starts. He should have more yards than last year though. His brother Dru (featured in the Instagram post) is also an athlete but does not play football.

Tru Wilson looks pretty dark to me. It looks like freshman rb, TJ McDaniel may have some quality company at SMU this fall. Cameron Rosenberger, a true freshman rb out of Tennessee looks pretty good to me on HUDL. He is not a burner but he can really slash and though he is not Ryan Nall's size he reminds me of him with a little less power. One to watch.

Yeah he’s definitely one of the darker white guys but he’s just as white as Danny Amendola or any of the other white/hispanic player so I’m definitely a fan of his, especially being a walk on. While on the Michigan topic, they also have Ben VanSumeren, Ben Mason, and Lucas Andrighetto who should all see some carries this year. They have a SR in Jared Char also but it remains to be seen if he will ever get playing time.

I’d disagree....Amendola, like Isabella, is Italian.....Wilson is half black....

Nah Wilson definitely doesn’t have any black in him if you look at the picture, white dad and mexican mom. His brother looks like a normal white kid, Tru just has a darker complexion.

I jumped on here just to bitch about Bisharat...I read an article about how new coach Mel Tucker asked BB to switch from RB to TE which we knew about, of course.....I’m still mad.....What a waste of a highly touted recruit.....Stanford would look real good with him the next two years....,I’m sure he would have red shirted his first year when they had McCaffrey and Love.....Transfer to Northern Co or Eastern Washington!!!! Play RB son, screw these caste bastards.....
