Won't bore you with the details but suffice to say for the most part the only way I can access the internet these days is via libraries which I have to squeeze in on my off hours and that can be a chore in itself apart from Saturday mornings and perhaps Wednesday mornings, two days where I have some free time. Don't know if this has been mentioned but it looks like Ryan Connelly is now starting at linebacker for Giants. His interception probably helped solidify his status.

Typical weenieworld snip. I bolded the words laughable and undrafted because to me it's laughable they think an undrafted qb can't become successful in the NFL. The Kurt Warner's of football would laugh at this. May a swarm of bees sting the person who wrote this ridiculous piece on the testicles.

• Panthers coach Ron Rivera confirmed Cam Newton (foot) will remain the team's starter when healthy.
  Kyle Allen was phenomenal in Cam's absence Sunday at Arizona (19-for-26, 261 yards, four touchdowns), but it's laughable Rivera would even acknowledge the possibility of an undrafted 23-year-old overtaking a former league MVP and arguably the most productive player in franchise history. There's optimism Newton, who aggravated a foot injury in Week 2, will resume practicing Wednesday.

Although this might be best placed in the black QB's thread, I was curious to see how all of our upsiders did this week. Record wise it was 5-5 with two games featuring just the future of the game behind center. I'm not sold on the future apparently as I only see maybe three of them that may have lasting value, including Russell Wilson who has already had great success. Perhaps I'll periodically review as it give me something to gnash my teeth over on Sundays.

Marcus Mariota, Tennessee Titans. Lost 20-7. 23 of 40 for 304 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT, sacked 9 times! The great Poly hope was pathetically bad with most yardage coming in garbage time. His upside was reached long ago. He will continue to drag down the Titans until the coaching staff installs Ryan Tannehill. I’m not holding my breath though.

Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys. Won 31-6. 19 of 32 for 246 yards, 2 TD’s, 1 INT, only sacked once. I didn’t see any of this game so I can’t say if he was bad or good. He was playing against the woeful Dolphins and his O-Line and running game are back on track. Unfortunately I expect him to do well this year.

Jacoby “BBQ” Brissett, Indianapolis Colts. Won 27-24. 28 of 37 for 310 yards, 2 TD’s, 0 INT, only sacked once. I didn’t see this game besides some highlights but the Brissett did well. Expect much slobbering by the media all week long over this. Good thing Luck retired, no way he could compare to the great BBQ!

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens. Lost 33-28. 22 of 43 for 267 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT, sacked 3 times. Jackson was not good. His accuracy was bad, most of his yardage was with basically hail-Mary type heaves towards the end of the game. His O-line and rushing attack are what makes them dangerous.

Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs. Won 33-28. 27 of 37 for 374 yards, 3 TD’s, 0 INT, sacked twice. Say what you will about Sideshow Pat, he’s good. Of all of the “black hopes” he is the “whitest”-playing one which is probably why he seems to be the most consistent. Not an easy model to follow for up-and-coming black QB’s who frankly don’t have the ability or desire to “play white”.

Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals. Lost 38-20. 30 of 43 for a whopping 173 yards, 2 TD’s, 2 INT’s, sacked 8 times badly. I didn’t see the first half where he was doing better, only the 2nd where it was a comedy of errors. Personally I don’t see the “upside” here. Even playing in a tailor-made “air raid” offense only the most undisciplined defense will make him look good. Wait, this is the NFL, maybe he will have some success in running around headless-chicken like and chucking the ball. See Lamar Jackson above.

Jameis Winston, Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Lost 32-31. 23 of 37 for 380 yards, 3 TD’s, 1 INT, 4 sacks. Winston is the model of inconsistency. Sometimes he’s pretty good, like yesterday, other times he’s dreadful. The Bucs will be just as inconsistent as long as he’s leading the huddle.

DeShaun Watson, Houston Texans. Won 27-20. 25 of 34 for 351 yards, 3 TDS, 0 INT, sacked twice. I didn’t see any of this game so I only have his stats to attest to his day. I despise the Texans and their almost-all-black roster and root hard against Watson every week, but he is far less scattershot than most full-black QB’s and isn’t as prone to the panic rush. Like Mahomes he will probably be around for awhile.

Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks. Lost 33-27. 32 of 50 for 406 yards. 2 TDs, 0 INT, 0 sacks. It’s always satisfying to see the Seachickens lose, and especially in front of their rabid DWF fans. Wilson however is now the grand old man of the great black hope pool. No denying that he can be very good, and he is very clutch when it counts, frustratingly so. Has better pocket awareness than most QB’s of any hue.

Teddy Bridgewater, New Orleans Saints. Won 33-27. 19 of 27 for 177 yards. 2 TD’s, 0 INT, O sacks. Drew Brees’ highly paid placeholder had a boring AHDIW-like performance against the Seahawks. We’ve already seen this schtick in Minnesota, if the team doesn’t have a great performance around him, he has no chance. Don’t they insult white QB’s who play like this guy with the label of “game manager?” I hate to wish injury on a player, but it would be nice in order to see Taysom Hill as the temporary number 1…..

I don't really dislike most of these guys. I pretty much root against all of them unless they are playing against each other. Some though really irk me because they have gotten opportunities (black privilege) that others don't. Some have serious character problems that would have gotten a white player banished long ago. And you're right about the media and DWF's and their drooling.

I find Mahomes fascinating in that he is a genuinely nice kid. Met him at a Chiefs event and he comes across like a fellow raised in a normal suburban family. No ebonics, or any of that "black thang". If he wasn't sort of caramel-colored with Sideshow Bob hair you would think he's just another white guy. I find the media coverage of him interesting, too. They almost always go out of there way to show his father and talk about his major league career. The game yesterday was the first time they didn't do that, unless I missed it. Instead they showed his lily-white mom. He also doesn't hang out with the bruvas on the sideline. He mostly stays around the coaches, his o-line or Travis Kelce. Make no mistake though, he will be promoted by (((the media))) as DeShaun Watson's, or your pick of black player's blood brother and he will get the borderline calls. I know the one you mention where he was "horsecollar tackled" and drew a late flag. It was ridiculous, but still better than seeing Lamar Jackson, the glorified running back, get the win.

 

[DWF Upside]

Side-Show Bob is one of the best QB’s in the game. Got to give credit where its due.

Sewerwater ( while not as obnoxious as your TNB QB) on the other hand dinked and dunked his way to a gifted victory. He was absolutely terrible. Didn't complete anything down the field. He just screen passed to his talented RB who created unreal YAC for him. It was one of the worst winning QB performances Ive ever seen.

I think that was my favorite outcome of the day given the Kyle Allen angle who played better than Scam has in awhile. The fact Allen/Murray were both teammates at A&M before Sumlin screwed Allen over in favor of Murray. I feel Murray won't be long for the NFL - he will have some other solid performances but the game tape will catch up. Kingsbury is also in over his head as a head coach. I am sure they will get a few years in Arizona to be mediocre before both being jettisoned. The only thing that upsets me is that Isabella is essentially forgotten down there.

It would be interesting to chronicle them all and edit them together to show a long pattern of discrimination and mind control. Schobert blitzed and had nothing to with the coverage...

Me too - he has had an up and down start to the season - his last minute drive last week was great to see. I have been big on Trubisky since his UNC days but also hate that he is playing under Nagy. He led them to the playoffs last year with a 12-4 record yet the media and DWFs are already doing there best to proclaim his as a bust. I wish they would involve Shaheen more in the offense.

So I rarely watch Giants games for obvious reasons; but I did catch this one. The Giants have a long, long way to go but I am hopeful the chains may be beginning to move (slowly) in our direction. Ryan Connelly with the start and 2 T/5 A and the INT. David Mayo 1A getting into the game, at some points on the field at the same time as Connelly. I saw Rhett Ellison get a reception and it would be great if they would start throwing the ball his direction a lot more frequently!

Myles Garrett stripped the ball from Goff. Joe Schobert recovered the ball and advanced about 10 yards. They showed the strip 4 times in replay and never showed Schobert recover it and then advance it. What a joke!

After the TD, first they panned to Mayfield on the sideline, then they go to Schofield. They didn't show any of the black Cleveland defenders responsible for covering Kupp. Just white Browns players. Total mind control.

Predictably today was a non stop DWF chorus of “I was sayin all along this kid is great”! These people are fair weather to a T.

Naturally there is no mention whatsoever of Ryan Connelly or his clutch INT. That fact really grates me; but what else is new.

Traditionally NY fans love tough Defense. Connelly is gonna be great; I will enjoy watching him shine and grow to become the face of this Defense

Joe and Evan mentioned Connelly and some other rookies that played well yesterday. The Eli fans are the worst. He made $250 million and now its time for him to sit. No one should feel sorry for him.

Last night I was in Vegas visiting friends. We watched the entire Rams game. When the wives stepped outside to get their drink I on, I announced: "since when is every commercial broadcasted has to have a cool black guy, a doofus white dude, and the cool black guy making inroads with the hot white or Latina chick?" They all said I was drinking too much! LOL, Then as the 2nd quarter lead into the 2nd half, and the end of the game, they realized I was not drunk and what I pointed was the truth. Later we discussed the reasons why. One said, "because the demo was mostly black since the teams are 75% black." I informed him, the majority of the NFL viewership are DWFs. And blacks made up only 13% of the population. Why the constant superior figures of blacks in these commercials? All scratched their heads looking for an answer. Thankfully a friend states out loud "f*cking ((tribe media)) pushing an agenda!" I have hope for us. LOL. BTW, the commercials containing superior and cool blacks is around 90%! UNREAL.
