2019 NFL Week 3

Last night I was in Vegas visiting friends. We watched the entire Rams game. When the wives stepped outside to get their drink I on, I announced: "since when is every commercial broadcasted has to have a cool black guy, a doofus white dude, and the cool black guy making inroads with the hot white or Latina chick?" They all said I was drinking too much! LOL, Then as the 2nd quarter lead into the 2nd half, and the end of the game, they realized I was not drunk and what I pointed was the truth. Later we discussed the reasons why. One said, "because the demo was mostly black since the teams are 75% black." I informed him, the majority of the NFL viewership are DWFs. And blacks made up only 13% of the population. Why the constant superior figures of blacks in these commercials? All scratched their heads looking for an answer. Thankfully a friend states out loud "f*cking ((tribe media)) pushing an agenda!" I have hope for us. LOL. BTW, the commercials containing superior and cool blacks is around 90%! UNREAL.

That's the correct answer. Due to the personal networking that goes on with the people who make those ads, the nerdy "white" actor in the ad will be a (((fellow white))), but most people won't know the difference.

Posts like these here at CF help me not give up hope, even if it takes a few drinks to get folks to speak the truth...and I've been totally clean and sober from all alcohol and all substances for over 31 years. People still inherently know the truth no matter how much they suppress it. Good days may (or may not) be ahead. I'll choose to be positive. Even the whole "camera panning to the White Defender every time" is something even casual DWFs know who blew coverage on a particular play. We are only as defeated as we choose to be at any given moment.

Zenner worked out for the Giants today, along with scrubs Benny Cunningham and Fozzy Whitaker. The less than legendary Wayne Gallman is the primary backup behind the injured Barkley, so the Giants would be wise to sign and use Zach right away. Zenner has the talent to be a starting running back so this will be an interesting Caste decision by the Giants, who have moved away some this season from being Ghana's Team.

They did sign Payton Hillis as a desperation move, so they have shown before they will take a chance on white RB

Wasn’t Shurmur the HC during Hillis’ final year at Cleveland? And together with the despicable Walrus Holmgren who was the GM (and a little bit of help from Hillis himself), they ended his Cleveland, and pretty much NFL, career.

Maybe he has changed his ways, it would be great if Zenner gets an opportunity. All he has done is produce when given the ball. That fat **** Matt Patricia should not have cut him.

There’s something that’s been bothering for a long time, and after I saw a clip of Browns coach Freddie Kitchens during the post-game press conference last night, it really hit me. Why do NFL coaches dress and look like total bums? When did this start to happen and why has the league allowed it?

There was a time when people really dressed up to attend games, just look at photos and footage of games from the ‘60s and ‘70s. The coaches were no exception, here are some photos:

At first I would say this is a reflection of how far certain societal norms and customs have fallen, and it may be true to a certain extent. But in the NHL and NBA, coaches actually wear suites, I believe it’s a requirement. Baseball managers wear a full uniform. Most soccer coaches from what I’ve seen also dress well.

The slob look seems to be unique to the NFL, and I find it curious for a league that goes to great lengths to protect certain aspects of its rules and image.

I've always found the sight of middle-aged, pot-bellied baseball managers suited up like an extra bench player to be one of the more ridiculous sights in sports. If football, hockey and basketball required the same of their head coaches everyone would rightfully mock them.

An argument can be made that first and third base coaches should be suited up in team uniforms, but if they didn't and wore regular clothes fans would adjust soon enough. Connie Mack managed for 50 years wearing a real suit, not a baseball costume, with no problems. But then again, if baseball managers began shedding their team uniforms most would dress as slovenly as Patricia, Fat Bastard, Belichick and the rest.

Great pics and comparisons, guys. I've become much more a stylish dresser over the years and "graduated" from being the "coolest" looking guy around to the "sharpest" dresser when I'm out and about. It's part of my rebellious nature, I guess. And in fact, the more society goes full-on Slobville the more I go the other way. I actually feel a lot better just looking better. And don't get me started on the way women look in public now...

I loved those pics of Landry and Lombardi. Total class all the way and in their demeanor as well. Hank Stramm who coached KC to an upset victory over the Vikings in the very first SB I watched as a little boy was also always sharp-dressing. Don's pic of Connie Mack in that three-piece suit is awesome. Says a lot right there. These HCs now look gross to me. They look like the overstuffed versions of the equipment guys or ball boys. Pathetic in every way.

Foxx had 534 career home runs, until Willie Mays passed him in 1966 second to Babe Ruth. Aside from Mickey Mantle and Frank Howard, Jimmie Foxx could hit a baseball farther than any man who ever lived.

Not to derail the thread though. Good points and pictures gentlemen. So basically the dumbed down dress style is all because corporate money keeps it that way.

Honestly, things have become so bad in this country in just about every way that by comparison the NFL is one of the few positives to look forward to in that every week so many White players defy the Caste System and the media haters and the DWFs.

Fantastic point...there’s a lot to hate about the NFL but it might be the last place in media to see white guys being men. The commercials in between do a great job of setting up the contrast to the rest of the images and themes we’re assaulted with on a daily basis. White guys are fat, passive and dumb and they’re surrounded by hordes of nonwhites and mutants and much savvier women.

After the TD, first they panned to Mayfield on the sideline, then they go to Schofield. They didn't show any of the black Cleveland defenders responsible for covering Kupp. Just white Browns players. Total mind control.

I’ve never considered this element, though there may be an element of truth to it. Certainly they aren’t going to go out of their way to dog a nonwhite player. Honestly, I attribute the reaction shots to the fact that white guys are always going to be more relatable to the audience.
