They did a short segment showing Mahomes and Trubisky's highlight throws, surprisingly doing a fair comparison, and showing that they are very similar QBs. I agree, they are much more similar than they are different. Trubisky was plagued by drops and his receiving corps do not adjust well to the ball in the air.

Also, don’t forget the team Trubisky went to, the Chicago Bears. This has never been a QB friendly team in its entire history, it’s always been about defense and the running game. You have to go back 60+ years to find the only two notable QBs who played for the Bears, Sid Luckman and George Blanda. Take a look at the last 30 years, and it’s really an embarrassment of non-riches.

If Trubisky had ended up somewhere else, things might have turned about better. Whether the team picks up the option or not, an eventual change of scenery might be best, same as Tannehill.

Unmentioned from an earlier game, Will Compton had 12 total tackles for the Raiders. Just another ATM (anonymous tackling machine). Seems like you can plug and play nearly any White linebacker and they’ll be leading your team in tackles in short order.

Glad to see Compton do well. When he was with the Titans (a Caste team even by Caste standards, particularly with their coal-black defenses), they didn't give him the playing time he deserved. Who would have guessed that it would be the Raiduhs who would give him his fair shot?

Pete's plantation hilariously losing to the Cardinals should help the 49ers out too as long as they take care of business next week - some dungbeetle on dungbeetle crime.

Tough times on the Plantation, as Pete's crew lost their #1 (Carson) and #3 tailbacks (Prosise) for the season. They lost #2 (Penny) against the Rams last week. They will also be without their left tackle going forward. One has to wonder if Zach Zenner's will become a modern day Dave Kingman (baseball) and play for 4 teams in one season? Now I'm talking silly, Slave Massa Pete using a white tailback?

Actually, there's probably a better chance ZZ could return to Miami to warm the bench for one more Sunday, as Miami lost Myles Gaskins to what appeared to be a very serious knee injury. Dolphins (mistakenly) thought they had the game won near the end of the 4th quarter and were just running out the clock near the goal line. All 11 Bengals knew Gaskins was going to run and they swarmed him, leading to a knee injury.....Looks like Patrick the Intern will get another start next week, as it appeared Gaskins had supplanted him by the 4th quarter yesterday. Gaskins injury was very reminiscent (to me) of a promising young, white tailback the Jets had in the 1990's named Pat Chaffey. During a blowout of the Patriots, he got some carries at the end the first half, mostly to just run the clock down. All 11 Pat's keyed on him and he suffered a career ending injury. I remember Jets quarterback Boomer Essiason saying he was distraught after that cheap shot hit, claiming he should've went into the "victory formation" to drain the clock.

ZZ should've listened to his best friend Adam Theilen and joined the Vikings!!! Anyhow, with Carson (Seattle) and Dalvin Cook down in Minnesota, CMac should be the first white NFC rushing champ in 44 years. St. Louis Cardinals "fullback" Jim Otis led the NFC in rushing in 1975, but finished 4th overall in the NFL. Last white running back to lead the AFC in rushing yards was Mark Van Eeeghen of the Oakland Raiders back in 1977. He's 93 yards behind Nick Chubb for #1 in the NFL, but no way he gets it. Cleveland will let him run 60 times next week to make sure he gets the title over CMac....So settling for the NFC title and a 1,000 rush/1,000 rec season is good enough?

Ok now Aaron Rodgers is "managing" the game according to Tessitore and McFarland.

This is a very watchable game, except for the announcers. Vikings start 9 overachievers. I didn't catch Green Bay.

Thielen had a chance to make a third down catch but couldn't come up with it. It was close to PI.

Harrison Smith had a nice solo tackle on a Packers RB where he hit the guy straight-on in the leg with his extended arm and flipped him in the air. Takes alot of stength to do that.

It's good that both these teams have secured playoff spots. Both are relatively decent by the standards of todays NFL. The only teams going to the playoffs, or likely to, that fall below the line are Baltimore, Seattle, Kansas City, and Houston.

On that trick play, Booger said “come on mang Cousins needs to be just a little faster”. He was after all wide open and completely extended out in leaping for the pass. Yet somehow it was Cousins fault.

Packers doing their best to keep the game close, in a bad way. Nothing to Kumerow yet

He just did the same thing when Adams dropped a pass in the endzone, blaming Rodgers when it was a catchable ball. Booger has said several times that Rodgers is merely having a "good" year. I would say he's having a very good year, just not quite up to his lofty standards, but of course he's hardly to blame for all the malfunctions on Green Bay's offense.

Ball bounces right off Davante Adams hands in the end zone, and Booger of course says not once but twice that Cousins threw the ball "just a little bit behind him". Because you have to get the ball right in between the numbers of a black NFL, multi-million dollar recuever, and then just maybe he will catch it.

I just watched the replay of Hunter Renfrow's long catch and run TD, and none of the three defenders closed any ground on him. He looked fast. Isn't he supposed to be another "intern," in Renfrow's case a slow, unathletic, mascot-type feel-good story who somehow finds a way to make catches despite all his supposed athletic limitations?

That struck me as well when I saw the highlight. After he secures the catch, it looks like he was shot out of a cannon. Clearly he has better game speed than any lame workout in shorts could ever show.

I see Kumerow not on the field after that tough double teamed drop on his one target.

This bum Booger has no business doing MNF, and from a random sampling of opinions online, the DWFs agree as well.

With Eli hopefully retiring, just give Peyton Manning whatever he wants and put him in that booth for the next 25 years.
