Pulling a Lamar Jackson. He decided not to run either. And considering the fast Oklahoma track you would have figured otherwise.

So the media will speculate hence forward that Murray runs the 40 in under 4 seconds. Why let reality get in the way?

But wait the best part is yet to come. After pounding down one hundred cupcakes or so he managed to weigh 205 just two pounds under his combine weight of 207. Probably a hint as to why he didn't run the 40. Wanted to bulk up to show he was big enough.

Now for the best part. He skipped the height measurement. I think I have been alive long enough to know that your height when measured properly is what it is measured at. Makes you wonder then what was going on at the combine measurement? Leaves the door open to suspicion. Especially when you look at him and he seems 5'8 1/2 at best.

If nothing else the kid is a great con man. And the media and the scouts are so star crossed they aren't paying attention to the multitude of red flags surrounding this guy.

It's not "crazy." It's just part of the overall plan. Last year, there were three top shelf White QBs entered the league (I include the guy in Buffalo - he's the real deal too). So this year they've got to offset that with this illusion of these two black QBs. It's not crazy, it's just more of the same.

Yes he is the shortest looking 5'10" football player I have ever seen in college or the pros. In reality he is probably 5'8" and change to a 5'9" and change. Any team that buys into his carnival barker act deserves what they get height and weight wise. If you can see through this shell game act then if you want to draft him because of his lively arm then by all means do it but be prepared for the backlash if he flops because of his diminutive stature.

In a sane world he would get drafted around the point Wilson was drafted as he is probably a full inch shorter than Wilson.

As we sift through this free agency period and await the draft I will be tabulating my own personal caste meter for each team.

As usual anyone who drafts a white WR gets bonus points.

While there are a slew of terrific white TEs in this draft it isn't atypical for a caste riddled team to throw in a white TE and of course white OL.

But what will make it easy to chart this go around is the amount of white defensive players available. Plenty of top notch talent to choose from so we should be able to sniff out how teams rate on a caste meter fairly easily.

In fact I would hope more than a few teams draft not one but two white defenders since there are so many to choose from.

So I say take a look at the drafting patterns of teams when it comes to white defenders. This will be a key area this draft.

Also carefully watching the edgy situation surrounding the RBs and safeties.

I am still hoping two RBs are picked ( Laird and AJ Ouellette). They are both worthy talents and their pro days are right around the corner.

And both safeties Andrew Wingard and Chris Johnson have proven in workouts that they are more than capable NFL players. Johnson has otherworldly athletic talent just like Troy Apke.

And speaking of top notch athletic talents Wisconsin's LB Andrew Van Ginkel ran a 4.56 40 on his pro day which combined with his combine performance places him at the top of the athletic meter for linebackers.

His tape is brilliant because he is a true disruptor. And he is not a glorified bulked up safety. He is 6'4" 241 . Holy cow talk about a fearsome athlete. Why wouldn't a team pull the trigger early on him? Well he is white for starters.

One thing is certain when you consider Ryan Connelly, another speedster LB with size (6'3" 236) and talent.

Wisconsin is growing white linebackers on trees. Move over Penn State. There is a new LB U now.

I saw somewhere that AJO’s teammate WR Andrew Meyer signed with an agent, good to see that he’s trying to make the NFL. He had career totals of 73-1023-7 at Ohio.

I watched a ton of Bobcat football.....AJO ruled.....Meyer was a nice piece of their puzzle, but I never thought of him as a prospect....I said that about stud Zach Line and the lesser heralded Cole Beasley, while at SMU.......Good luck Meyer, we wish you well.

While on the subject of the MAC I think DE Maxx Crosby looks to be a player with unlimited upside.

He also has a huge chip on his shoulder. After killing the workouts at the combine with jaw dropping numbers for a rangy 6'5" 255 dynamo look for him to become one of the biggest steals of the draft.

His play on the field revealed he was the biggest disruptor in college last year when you look at the whole picture including forced fumbles. I have seen him play a few times and he is stunningly quick and sudden and rangy. A prototypical NFL edge disruptor.

He probably needs some seasoning and a few more pounds but I predict this quicksilver stud will become a superstar in the NFL.

He is currently visiting Buffalo which would be a great spot for him.

I saw an interesting comp - Drew Lock to Matt Stafford. Personally I think the Cutler comparison is almost perfect. I feel Stafford has a Farve like arm. Cutler had a cannon but it was a step below elite - that is where I feel Lock fits in - along with his athleticism and build.

Will Grier has been compared to Andy Dalton - I can agree on that too. Dalton has been a solid QB with some very good performances. I feel Grier can have a similar career.

It's hard to get a read on this draft - alot of the white athletes especially on defense tested out well at the combine and continue to do so at their pro days. The hype around a one year wonder, mentally soft, undersized black quarterback has made me realize I won't be watching the draft this year - just following on draft tracker.

Yes, but he’s not black or Samoan, which does make him a caste-buster in his own way.

Rapp may be a caste-buster but I do wonder if the fact that he is not completely white may have given him an advantage during recruiting. If he turns out to be good in the NFL I am sure they will cover his mother's heritage ad nauseam during broadcasts to push the multi-racial agenda. Not to say I hope he does poorly in the NFL as he clearly goes against the norm of what a DB is supposed to look like. The only other non-kicker of Asian heritage (non-poly) I can think of is Dat Nguyen who was a very good LB for the Cowboys in the early to mid-00s. Prior to my full on introduction to the caste system I always remembered being a fan of Nguyen as he was a little undersized but a very good and fast LB (reminded me of Zach Thomas).

Rapp may be a caste-buster but I do wonder if the fact that he is not completely white may have given him an advantage during recruiting. If he turns out to be good in the NFL I am sure they will cover his mother's heritage ad nauseam during broadcasts to push the multi-racial agenda. Not to say I hope he does poorly in the NFL as he clearly goes against the norm of what a DB is supposed to look like. The only other non-kicker of Asian heritage (non-poly) I can think of is Dat Nguyen who was a very good LB for the Cowboys in the early to mid-00s. Prior to my full on introduction to the caste system I always remembered being a fan of Nguyen as he was a little undersized but a very good and fast LB (reminded me of Zach Thomas).

Kevin Kaesviharn was a half-Thai half-White cornerback/safety who was pretty good when he played for the Bengals. Undrafted of course. Asians are generally regarded as unathletic, at least when it comes to football, so White-Asian mixtures are Caste-busters as far as I'm concerned.

As predicted by yours truly WR Scott Miller blazed a 4.32 in the 40 yard dash on his Bowling Green pro day today. Was solid in the other drills as well.

Miller joins LB Cole Holcomb and S Chris Johnson in my Troy Apke Club. Players that are sensational athletes and performed at a high level on the playing field that are being all but ignored during this draft process.

When you think of all the smallish and underperforming black WRs that currently dot the NFL landscape while also musing over the fact that WR Riley McCarron has been widely ignored, you see a constant pattern in the NFL where there is a studious attempt to avoid having white speedsters on multiple rosters. Smaller black speedsters? That is different story as they are wheeled out every year and most all of them aren't worthy.

Miller, with his terrific college resume and his blinding speed has proven that he belongs in the NFL yet he is being ignored from every corner. It irks the living daylights out of me.

[late edit--it is now believed that Miller ran a 4.30 40 instead of a 4.32. Some had him in the high 4,2 area. He also gained about ten pounds so his official weight was 174. Amazingly quick and fast player that in a fair world would be drafted no later than the 5th round since he can return kicks too. Now I will sit back and see if the media wants to put out Miller's astounding workout numbers or will they bury it all? Chances are they will do the latter. If he was black they would be all over it.]

Jumping back from the Combine thread - I didn't realize Northwestern's pro day had come and gone already. Read some laughable stuff about the Buffalo black quarterback being a potential 2nd round pick - the agenda is clear as always.

As Shadowlight mentioned in the other thread I cannot find much in terms of how Thorson (a forgotten QB from this year's class) looked nor did I see much about WR Flynn Nagel. By all accounts Thorson had a good pro day without any of the media hype of course.

Great news for Miller!! I’d say he has a good chance to make whoever signs him as a free agent (if he’s not drafted), he could be a good offensive weapon and a great return man as well. Also his 15 bench reps is very impressive for his size considering often times you have 250 pound black players that put up that same number.

Elijah Holyfield the RB from Georgia who ran a terrible 4.78 40 at the combine backed that up with times of 4.83 and 4.89 at his pro day. Also the kid who they are touting to be the number 1 back in the draft Josh Jacobs of Alabama ran in the 4.6s at his pro day. But they all say that's fast enough for him. What a joke.

One more to add to my own (crazy) Troy Apke Club. He joins Holcomb, Johnson and Miller. Don't expect many if any more to add to the club but Michael Walker deserves to be added.

Unofficial report and tough to dig out and again my earlier prediction was on cue as WR/KR/PR Michael Walker (6'0" 200) of BC ran a 4.36 40 yard dash on his pro day today.

If Cord Patterson can linger around the NFL without being anything more than a ST return man then why shouldn't anyone cherry pick Walker in the late rounds?

Walker is the premier return man in this draft so it makes sense for a team to lock him up in the 6th or most likely 7th round. You plug him in to return kicks on the cheap and bam you can expect a dynamic and well seasoned young return man. And if he becomes a decent WR all the better.

I am not here to profess whether Walker ever becomes a decent NFL WR but that is the hope for the team that drafts him. But the main reason to draft him is to return both punts and kicks and he is explosive and proficient at both.

And he can be utilized on trick plays on offense too of course.

I get the feeling that the NFL wants to limit the number of fast explosive white players so the four names above who by rights deserve to be drafted are being pretty much ignored by big media. They don't want to have anything to do with these special athletes.

You get the impression the NFL is OK with an occasional white speedster "outlier" but it would crash their precious narrative if all of a sudden multiple white speed demons started populating NFL teams and were seen by millions on TV and those attending the games in person.

Walker is a long shot to get drafted and most teams are too afraid to pull the trigger on a player who would turn out very useful.

Getting sick of having to suffer through this crap every year.

Is there a brave team out there willing to draft Walker. Are teams so stupid they don't see the value in LB Holcomb, WR Miller and S Johnson?

Four great athletes. They shouldn't be allowed to grovel and rot as free agents.

As for Jacobs saw all the "experts" defending his average 40 time as well. Figures. He's overrated to me anyways. Media hyping him up as a 1st Rd pick, despite never eclipsing 650yds in a season, LOL.

Excellent workout for Walker SL!! Hopefully one of the many scouts in attendance took notice of the speedy returnman. A while back someone compared Walker to Alex Erickson, I consider that a very accurate comparison.

The 40 yard dash time for defensive ends is pretty useless but the media has blown it up as an important test because every year it seems some black edge players put up fast times. This year's golden boy is Montez Sweat who ran a 4.51 40. The media is still jerking off about it.

Running a fast 40 for a DE is like saying a tennis player is a great swimmer. It doesn't matter.

You look at other tests but mostly the tape.

If you do that Nick Bosa is clearly the premier DE in this draft.

For starters he isn't undersized like so many of these LB/DE black hybrids that are carted in every combine for the purpose of running a fast 40. Bosa is naturally big at 6'4" 266. Big bones big body. He won't get pushed around.

His tape is out of this world. His explosion and hand techniques are off the charts. You just know the NFL won't be able to contain him.

If they want to get into the minute details about athleticism then by all means let us take a look. Come to find out Bosa is a superb athlete to go along with being a five star football player.

Only three tests have any relevance when it comes to DEs.

The least important is the vertical leap but it does reveal leg explosion and here Bosa powered his big body up 33 1/2 inches which is very good.

Then you want to look at the ten yard split for quickness and Bosa killed it with a 1.55 split which tied by the way media hero Sweat, who by the way has a body of large WR, not of a lineman.

Then the most underrated test where whites often out perform blacks is the 20 yard shuttle. This measures hip swivel, body control and suddenness. Bosa killed that too with a 4.14 shuttle which is faster than most of the black WRs at the combine. So all of these fast straight line black players lose their speed if they have to turn for just a fraction which by the way happens on every play.

In fact the three fastest 20 yard shuttle times at the combine by DEs were performed by white players. Chase Winovich led the way with a 4.11, followed by Maxx Crosby with a 4.13 and then Bosa at 4.14.

You see all of this high end athleticism by these three future NFL studs on tape. But all the media wants you to hear is 40 yard dash times.

None of the above ran slow 40 yard dashes by the way but that is besides the point. On the playing field, not the track, is where football games are won and lost. What seems to be lost these days are the scouts who keep drafting crappy black defensive players year after year over relying on the 40 yard dash for line players.
