Helmet to helmet on Lawrence there.

Not only was it a helmet to helmet sack with intention to hurt but as he was wrapped up and almost going down the other guy from Ohio St. clotheslined him and
choked him around the neck as he helped to take him down. Both defensive players should have been kicked out. At least they suspened the first guy for the rest
of the game. The Clemson Players and team need to realise that this is bush league behavior and then need to step up their game and intensity level.

What an incredible play by an amazing athletic quarterback. Trevor Lawrence ran for a 67 yard td to get the Tigers right back in the game. He now had 89 yards rushing in the first half. This
kid is 6'6 and weighs 220lbs yet is so athletic, so fast and very coordinated. Wow was that special. :)

That was an epic run by Lawrence! Showed off his speed, agility, and vision on that scamper. I suppose I'll shut up! Glad I didn't turn off the game .

This has been a very entertaining game to watch between Lawrence and the Clemson D. I just wish they had a White pass catcher. A good receiver or tight end would really make them a top team to support.

Shipley has an offer from Clemson......
It seems Notre Dame and North Carolina St are the front runners
I’d love to see him at Clemson......

By the way, there’s a high school all star game on next Saturday....
National tv......Shipley is playing...Let’s all tune in and root for the kid.....

Lawrence just owned Ohio St on that drive to take the lead!

Guys let's put this into perspective. Trevor Lawrence has never lost a game in his 2 years of college football. :) Simply amazing. I thought
Tim Tebow was pretty amazing and he was but Lawrence is on a whole different level. He will win the heisman next year for sure! Also one more
thing. Trevor Lawrence ran 16 times for 107 yards against a stellar defense and passed for another 259 yards!

Wow simply amazing game. Ive really grown to respect what Dabo and Venables have done at Clemson!

Awesome INT for Turner to redeem himself!

He sarcastically mentioned how Finke will be a 7th Rd pick to The Pats. He will then proceed to rack up a couple of 65catch season's. Threw out a couple of cliches "gym rat" "hard worker" "always in right spot." Then ended it by saying "Nah, he's just a great route runner."

Sorry I missed that. Nice to see subtle shots being taken at the system by Orlovsky.

Yeah Orlovsky's not bad. Doesn't come off as a total caste wimp, becoming one of my favorite CFB analysts.

Went down to the local bar today for my two beers (the bar I used to go to closed) and watched a bit of the LSU-Oklahoma game. There was only one tackle made in the twenty mins. or so that I watched. No wonder the final scores was so high anymore.

What a good game that really felt like a Caste victory. The optics were really noticeable at the end of the game. Many White players on Clemson celebrating in each camera shot while Ohio State appeared nearly 100% coal black with dejected faces.

Saw that Drake Stoops was the second leading receiver for OU on only 2 catches for 28 yards.

I’m glad for the Stoops kid. But I just have to shake my head in amazement at the hipocrisy. In the 15+ years that Bob ran the program, nobody resembling Drake ever saw the field at WR. So, either this is blatant nepotism, or, Stoops willfully ignored decades of local White skill players who could have contributed to the team (see Wes Welker.)

With white heavy defenses for Air Force, Michigan State and Iowa knocking the snot out of so called high powered offenses Clemson is the proverbial cherry on top. I cannot recall a final four team having so many white contributors on defense.

Linebackers Chad Smith ( defensive player of the game with 12 tackles and James Skalski (9 tackles) were in the mix on nearly every play. Back up athletic sophomore LB Baylon Spector had 5 tackles ( some on special teams) and 2 sacks. Spector's brother Brannon is a freshman WR who was very highly rated. Speaking of brothers sophomore DE Logan Rudloph is the brother of Steelers QB Mason. Adding that special ingredient to this mix of course are The Stud Brothers safeties Tanner Muse and Nolan Turner.

They bent against a tremendous and clever Ohio State offense but never broke. Holding Ohio State to early field goals paid off down the road.

As mentioned up above Muse came roaring from way behind and even had to dodge a player to trip up Dobbins in what looked like a sure TD. Ohio State eventually had to settle for a field goal. They mentioned last night Muse was a first team All ACC selection. He was also a Jim Thorpe finalist.

And Nolan Turner was teamed with Tanner for most of the second half.

Apart from the Muse rundown two plays from them stick out. A wide open Dobbins had just dropped a pass near the goal line so on the next play Muse hedged over enough to prevent Fields from targeting him again.

The company line on the Turner interception is the WR broke off his route. What they don't mention is this time, unlike the TD, Turner anticipated the crossing move and had it blanketed. I think that played a role in the WR "changing his plans" at the last minute.

A great game any way you slice it. QB TL remained calm throughout and in a battle of two brilliant coaches it came down to the wire. TL looks like a Peyton Manning clone to me with better wheels.

Meanwhile we will find out in two weeks if Joe Burrow and caste LSU are unstoppable or did the all black Oklahoma defense play their role. Oklahoma is the poster child for modern day defenses that rely on all black undersized fast look good at camps types who when pressed often fold like a house of cards. It was a combination of Burrow's brilliance and Oklahoma's awfulness. And gutlessness.

Not to take anything away from Burrow who played the best game ever by a QB in a final four game. And a shoe in for number one pick.

But it doesn't take a genius to figure out who I will be rooting for in the Championship.
