Looks like Deshone Kizer is running down the clock on Zach Zenner's chances for a 100 yard game, with his dink & dunk short throws and stupid 4th down runs.
That's all on Patricia. He has gotta know some of the Detroit faithful "know the score" when it comes to Zenner or the bruthas.

Hopefully just a quick breather for Zenner. One short scamper away from 100, so close!

The Lions couldn't let whitey get 100 yards. Pulled out Zenner at 93 yards. 13 carries in the first half and only 9 - most of them on the last drive of the game in the 2nd half.

Ninth straight season with a bye for the Patriots, another incredible mark in the ultimate "parity" league. If Brady hadn't blown out a knee in the first game of the season ten years ago, it would be I believe 18 or 19 straight years making the playoffs. And even the year Brady was injured, New England just missed with a 10-6 record when Matt Cassell was the starting QB.

The only member of the "Belichick coaching tree" who hasn't been a complete Caste clown is Eric Mangini, and he's been blackballed out of the league as far as coaching opportunities.

F*** Fat Matt, who deserves a firing. He gave 11 carries to that slug Blount. If ZZ got half of those wasted carries, he would have easily got his first 100 game. In the Caste NFL, who knows if he’ll ever get another chance like this.

My guess is Bortles/Tannehill won't be back. Bortles was one of my favorite players in the 2014 draft and has been a little maddening to watch - capable of playing really well or very bad. Consistency has been his issue. Tannehill is someone that has had the cards stacked against him since he first came into the league. He should show up as a starter somewhere else - he's a quality QB and I have respected Gase for supporting him in Miami. I If Gase is fired he should be looked at for other head coaching positions - Miami seems to be a terrible organization and have had some bad drafts. I enjoy the no-nonsense approach of Adam Gase.

Not sure what is going to happen with Eli Manning. Same with the Redskins situation and Alex Smith. My guess is Giant DWF nation wants the Ohio St black quarterback to replace him. Redskins DWFs will probably love to have another black quarterback as they miss the glory days of Jason Campbell and the Gremlin. It's not looking like any of the current black quarterbacks are going to be displaced and overrated retreads Idler Arm and Bridgewater are going to convince some team to go after them.

BFU, I don't disagree about Fatt Matt...But Kizer is the Packers incompetent backup quarterback.

His team was down 21-0, 24-0 and 31-0 while he was in the game and all he did was dink & dunk with short completions and run for short gains, which ran down the clock, ensuring the Packers didn't mount a comeback. He was moving the team in the second half, but at a snails pace....Either totally clueless or talent-less. I go with both!

ZZ ends with 93 yards....Joins the likes of Danny Woodhead, Rick Fenney (Vikings early 1990's) and others that came close to 100 yards rushing, but feel short. Hopefully ZZ will have more chances?

P.S.: Fatt Matt did Blount no favors today, allowing him to display to all 32 teams how "washed up" he is. Would've been better off sitting due to injuries and protecting that gaudy 2.8 average he had coming into the game.

Kyle Williams was brought in on offense and caught a pass. He has his own thread in the Bills sub forum and after announcing his retirement we have had some good posts about him over there. He has been one of the best DTs in the league during his career but of course has gotten none of the hype or press. I am glad the Bills did draft Harrison Phillips to serve as his replacement. Greg Gaines out of Washington reminds a bit of Williams. It's always rough to lose a superior player at a full on caste position.

Josh Allen with 5 total TDs today. 97 rushing yards as well.

I expect Allen and Mayfield are locks to be successful franchise QBs. The Jets will have about $100 million in cap money to play with this offseason to add offensive talent and hopefully a competent coaching staff to develop Sam Darnell. Competent coaching quickly turned Jared Goff and Mitch Trubisky from "busts" to stars.

Rosen, who knows? Didn't look good but they're terrible on offense other than David Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald who is at the very end of his career. The Blank Canvass in Baltimore still has to learn to pass to be successful, and it's doubtful he'll ever be a competent passer.

The Eagles are supposedly not going to keep Foles around. If anyone is deserving of a starting job it is Foles who has played at a high level when it has counted the most.

Tomorrow really might be a black monday:
Wilks, Bowles, Joseph and potentially Marvin Lewis may all get fired which will cause the predictable cries about not enough Minority (black) coaches.

I expect Darnold to pan out - he clearly has the "it" factor and played well as a rookie with a very bad team around him. Peyton Manning threw 20+ ints as a rookie and improved every year. I feel Darnold will have a similar trajectory. I saw enough of him at USC to believe he is the total package and will not fail. Allen is damned exciting to watch and I was not expecting him to perform like he has - a truly dynamic athlete and probably has a top 3 arm in the NFL. Again the theme with Buffalo is the terrible offensive team around him - from the OL to TE to WR they have a terrible collection of "talent". Allen also has a great head on his shoulders and will continue to fine tune his mechanics and become more of a QB. Mayfield has been pretty amazing - his cocky attitude rubs alot of people the wrong way (I prefer the demeanor of Darnold and Allen) but I actually enjoy it with Mayfield. He plays with a huge chip on his shoulder. Once Ben retires I think Cleveland will become the team in the AFC North. The Ravens are going to get rid of Flacco for the Blank Canvas and continue to rely on defense and the running game which doesn't work every year.

Beasley’s winning TD catch should be the highlight of the day! And the ref, who was right there originally called it a no catch..........

Shame, two runners on the verge of breaking 100... **** Patricia,, even DWFs are second guessing his passion for washed out Blount.

Cole Beasley with 90+ yards and a TD.

What a breakthrough game for Jarwin. 119 yards and 3 TDs. Last one showed his awareness and speed.

Beasley with the catch of the week! TE Blake Jarwin with 3 TDs. They need some confidence going into the playoffs...likely against the deplorable Seahags.
