Given that NE currently has Tom "The GOAT" Brady at QB, five white WR's (Edelman and Hogan are surefire starters and Berrios/Hollister/McCarron are backups), five white TE's (including the best in NFL history, Gronkowski), and a white RB (Burkhead) who could see significant playing time, I'm not ready to give up on the Patriots just yet. From years of closely following the team, I take solace in the fact that the roster always seems to look quite bleak and then, suddenly, as the season begins, they're the sale old Caste-busting team they've been for 10+ years. Admittedly, there defense is as black as it's ever been. However, there were seasons in the mid-2000's where OLB Mike Vrabel was the only white defender (DT Mike Wright was injured) on the roster. Is the racial makeup of the 2018 defensive roster really so different than it's been over the past 10 years? Naturally, I hope they find a way to add some white talent before/during training camp, but I'm not watching the Pats for their defense.
WR Braxton Berrios was a very interesting draft pick and I believe the squad has big plans for the former Miami Hurricane. The Caste Media calls him a Welker/Edelman/Amendola clone, but his 4.44 40-yard dash was much faster than Wes (4.65), Julian (4.52), and Danny (4.58). His 36" vertical leap was higher than Wes and Danny and the same as Edelman's. His blistering 3-cone drill and 20-yard split were almost identical to those of Edelman.
Aside from being a white receiver and a member of the Patriot offense, another reason for him to be despised by the Caste Media are his looks. Despite having a Spanish surname (his father is a white Puerto Riccan), Berrios fits the classic Nordic-European archetype. As with the blonde-haired, blue-eyed Julian Edelman and his (alleged) Jewish heritage, it'll be impossible to sell Berrios as a Latino/Hispanic...
Obviously, the league knows full well what the Pats do to be so successful. I wonder why they don't emulate it if it's so successful? Also, when the OC finally becomes a head coach again, I predict he goes back to his anti-White ways like when he was HC of the Broncos. Belichic won't allow him to do that stuff while he's with the Patriots.
I think he makes the roster as a PR and depending upon his development, possibly takes over Amendola's spot as the 2nd slot WR. Barring injury, I predict that NE keeps 7 WR's and Berrios will be one of them.
