German girls Lisa Meyer and Gina Luckenkemper go 1-2 in the women's 100m
they'd better spend the off season doing reactions, starts and transitions looking at that- both lots of speed though. Great omen for 2018
hate to say it but her strides looks like Gatlins and a bit like lemaitrethose German girls - looking good in every sense of the word and a very good end of season time. That included a terrible first change and 3 very "safe" changes - I'd say they have sub 42 capability.
Look at Lisa Mayer's 2nd leg in slo-mo (4.25 on).
No clues, but does anyone see a style reminiscent of someone else with that powerhouse high footdrop action?

She is a long strider. She is tall and their is nothing bad about that. It is good. I don't know what your trying to say
but they are clean, natural and beautiful. They are so pretty on and off the track. I could watch them all day long.
Anyone remember German sprinter Katrin Krabbe? I always rooted for her back in the day.
Woah Nellie, take your finger off the sensitivity trigger I was answering MM's post on which sprinters strides she reminded him of, nothing more. I was saying her strides reminded me of Gatlins and Lemaitres. I think she is a fantastic sprinter...She is a long strider. She is tall and their is nothing bad about that. It is good. I feel like this could have been said of Lemaitre in any of the last 5 seasons.....and was!Lemaitre 20.21 sb glad he got a SB but he is really off his form. His stamina in the 200 is poor. He needs to make changes for next year.....
I see nothing wrong with Lemaitre's 200 meter training. It's the 100 meter training that needs to be literally blown up and started over, at this point if he or his team aren't willing to do that he might as well become a 200 meter specialist who uses the 100 for training purposes, similar to Guliyev.I feel like this could have been said of Lemaitre in any of the last 5 seasons.....and was!
It was either 2013 or 2014 he gained 15-20 pounds I believe. He's never been the same. I think he should lose a bit of weight and get back to his lighter days, then work on getting stronger but not heavier.I see nothing wrong with Lemaitre's 200 meter training. He would have much fresher legs at majors if he did this.
