In addition to Janis having a touchdown catch, GB had 2 other White standouts. Max McCaffrey had 3 catches for 60 yards. It would be tough but amazing to see Nelson, Janis and McCaffrey all making the 53 man roster.

QB Taysom Hill had a successful debut. He completed 4 of 5 passes for 69 yards and a TD. He was also the leading rusher for GB on the night with 2 carries for 14 yards. It would be great if Hill outperformed black quarterback Hundley all preseason. It's unlikely but maybe GB would trade away Hundley and go with Callahan and Hill behind A-Rod.

I love that Callahan kid for GB. He is better than hundley.

I'm going to say my piece on the North Korea situation on another thread. As many know we have a lot of troops lined up in South Korea and other military personal all over the South Pacific. If war does break out we can expect a lot of American casualties. Why bring this up here? I would even guess even if war does not break out------ you can expect this "taking a knee crap during the National Anthem" to come to a screeching halt.
Onto a lighter note. It is very hard to predict with accuracy Quarterbacks but the reason so many scouts were high on Trubisky was in evidence last night. He is insanely fluid and has what baseball people would call the full "tool shed." I would love to see another McCaffrey play in the NFL along side Christian. I think and hope Ryan Switzer is going to make his debut Saturday night.
As for the Bengals depth chart if a few things break in the right direction WR Alex Erickson and S Clayton Fejedelem could see a lot more playing time to go along with LB Nick Vigil. Erickson is penciled in as the KR but I don't like the coaching staff there so we will have to wait and see where it all settles.
As usual I am always hoping a surprise WR or two makes a roster and that other WR's like Jeff Janis, Jace Billingsley and Daniel Braverman etc. hold on and secure a roster spot.

It's a national day of mourning for DWFs:

NFL suspended Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott six games for violating the league's personal conduct policy. It's the standard benchmark for domestic violence infractions. Elliott now has three days to file an appeal, which will likely happen, and then the league would then have 10 days to schedule a hearing on that appeal. This thing could go a number of different directions, and it's possible it may drag out for months. Elliott would be able to play during his appeal process. For now, we simply have to take the stance that he's going to be out for the Cowboys' first six games, which would have him returning Week 8 (Dallas' bye is Week 6) against the Redskins. In his absence, Darren McFadden stands to be the biggest beneficiary and needs to be drafted in fantasy leagues. Elliott will essentially be available for half the fantasy season. He needs to be significantly knocked down draft boards, likely into the third or fourth rounds.

This is a thorny one for me. I do not like the self centered Elliot but if he is out of the lineup it could hurt the Cowboys. With WR Cole Beasley and stud LB Sean Lee still on board with the addition of new starter S Jeff Heath and the probable emergence of WR Ryan Switzer this was one of the teams I (and most likely many other caste members) was going to be rooting hard for this season. Just have to wait and see how this all shakes down.

T. J. Watt gets a sack on his third play against the black Giants. I have a feeling he'll be a dramatic improvement over cement-footed first round mega-bust Jarvis Jones, now stinking it up with Arizona.

You beat me to it. That was great to see. While typing, he just had his 2nd sack. Nice!

OT: BTW, check out Mitch Trubisky in his UNC days hang-cleaning 352 lbs. Not too bad for a QB.

Josh Dobbs with a terrible interception. Was watching Channel 11 local news tonight and they had a poll on who should be the backup to Big Ben, Dobbs (a 2017 draft pick who has never played until now), or Landry Jones. It should surprise no one that the hopelessly DWF Steelers Nation picked Dobbs in a landslide.

In the Browns - Saints game QB Ryan Nassib (Saints) looked like someone who could very easily be a starter in the NFL. And then, his brother Carl for Cleveland was a force and in the QB's face (mostly Garrett Grayson's) much of the time. Back to the QB situation for the Saints, Chase Daniel is locked in at the backup for Drew Brees. The battle for the 3rd spot between Nassib and Grayson is a tough one. I know there are Grayson fans at CF, but I don't see him pushing Daniel for the backup spot. Nassib potentially could overtake Chase, imho. We'll see how it plays out. Whoever is cut loose should not be out of football for long.

I can't wrap my head around how a white honkey cracker from Wisconsin could be an improvement over a strong black man from da hood. I mean, that's why almost every defensive player in the NFL is black, because they are just naturally superior athletes, right? The best players always play and pro sports is the ultimate meritocracy. That's what ESPN tells me so I believe it.

Hundley has wormed his way into being one Rodgers injury away from Green Bay's QB, while Dobbs is the inexplicable DWF favorite to be Big Ben's second stringer and heir apparent. Meanwhile, Davis Webb is stuck behind not one but two black quarterbacks, Paxton Lynch is not being given the franchise QB chance he deserves, AJ McCarron is better than some starters but only plays when Dalton is hurt, DWFs are screaming that Bortles should be given up on, and the quarterback that the Steelers should have drafted, Nathan Peterman, is not being allowed to challenge the criminally overrated Tyrod Taylor. #BlackPrivilege #AntiWhiteDiscrimination

This whole Ezekiel Elliott event is garbage. 1) Mudshark attracted to famous, low IQ athlete. 2) Relationship predictably sours due to the parties' immaturity, bad motives, incompatibility, and lack of morals. 3) Argument turns physical, most likely initiated by female. 4). Low impulse control male leaves minor bruises on female when he could have easily beat her to death. 5) Male loses $500,000 in salary plus countless endorsement money. 6) mudshark is hailed as a brave hero to the anti-domestic violence movement. 7) A weeks worth of hot debate on all the "sports" shows.

Undrafted rookie TE Jacob Hollister had a big night for the NE Patriots ...7 receptions for 116 yards

Jeff Janis had a 20 yard TD catch

Jordan Taylor made a nice catch for the Broncos

Undrafted Rookie FA Richard Mullaney with 54 yard catch for the Browns

Did Burkhead not play in the Patriots game? He had no carries.

Looks like CJ Beathard had a good game. Interested to see how he develops under Shanahan.

Broncos DE Derek Wolfe was carted off the field with a right leg injury during Saturday's practice. 9 News Denver's Mike Klis reports the injury was either to Wolfe's knee or ankle and "appears to be serious." If Wolfe is forced to miss an extended period, it would be another blow to a defense which lost DL Billy Winn for the season on Friday. Wolfe recorded 5.5 sacks in 14 games last year and is a big part of the Broncos' pass-rush.

I see edge rusher Marcus Rush had a sack and many QB pressures for Kansas City last night. Rush is picking up this preseason where he left off last preseason when had about 5 sacks in 4 games. Of course the maniacally anti-White SF coaching staff cut him anyway. Will the same thing happen again this year under Fat Bastard and his KC coaching cronies?

Make it two sacks in four plays for T. J.!

Nice game by Watt.
However, Kevin Patra of nfl.com claims that Watt's sacks were 'acts of circumstance' and that the QB was 'flushed his way' also points out that he was 'unblocked' on the 2nd sack.
I can't recall a time when a black player had a multiple sack game, and some chump beat writer broke down the 'circumstances' of the plays that led to the sacks... agenda?

Even before I opened Don's link, I suspect a mud shark with injuries. :ambulance:

If she's stupid enough to run with that piece of trash, then she deserves what she got. Princess Purple Arms gets no sympathy from me....

Trent Murphy out for the season with a torn ACL. This is unfortunate for Murphy because he had nine sacks last year and showed good improvement. This is a contract year for him also so if he had continued to improve he could have been up for a big payday. Of course he could still be up for a big payday even with the injury.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...l-in-preseason-opener/?utm_term=.6e832a1db562

Murphy was really starting to turn the corner, heading into a contract year. This couldn't have come at a worse time. If I'm not mistaking, I think he has a looming suspension too. Hopefully someone gives him a shot next year...

Kansas City is probably the worst place he could be... Houston and Hali are the starters, with Dee Ford and Frank Zombo as backups. If by some slim chance he makes the team, won't matter, because he'll never see the field...
It's bad enough Zombo barely plays, and he's already proven he can be a decent starter in the league. Rush hasn't got a chance with the Chiefs.

First round bust Jarvis Jones had the magnificent total of 6 career sacks in 4 seasons in Pittsburgh. Clearly there were never any "acts of circumstance" for him to take advantage of. :rolleye:
