McCaffrey is the class of this years RB class. If a team wants a big back they can get Fournette. But Cook should not go before him. They are both similar size but McCaffrey is the better player and athlete. The only thing Cook did better was the bench which shows he has better strength in his chest muscles. McCaffrey is faster evident by his 40. So speed goes to McCaffrey. Explosion goes to McCaffrey as evident by the vertical and broad jump. Where he outclassed Cook. He's quicker as seen by his shuttle times. McCaffrey has better hips as evident by his 3 cone drill. He has better hand eye coordination as evident by his hands and the way he can track and catch the ball. His feet are quicker as evident by the RB drills. And then when you just look at football. McCaffrey had a beterr career in college as a RB. So the only thing Cook has better is stronger chest muscles. McCaffrey is clearly the better more fluid athlete and should be taken before Cook.

Well said Dolphin15. The Stanford Pro Day is scheduled for March 23rd. As competitive as McCaffrey is he will participate and best both his Combine 40 and Benchpress.

I'm glad the Kizer hype finally seems to be dying down.

Pro Day times are always faster than Combine times. It wouldn't surprise me if Mccaffrey can crack high 4.3 range.

Black WR ran a 4.22 which is the fastest time ever but now that is all they are talking about. No mention of Switzer or Taylor and their productive careers and solid 40 times.

The black WR is now suffering from cramps and sounds like he is dropping out of the rest of the combine. That's all the NFL wants from him - a fast 40 time. That is the farce that is the combine.

Edit: it was not the fastest time. The idiot analyst just said his route running and ball skills aren't what they are supposed to be but he's still a first rounder because he ran fast in a straight line.

Don't care, Ross did nothing when playing against Alabama, he can grab money by teams are really stupid.

Switzer's second try on NFL.com shows he ran 4.45 (4.54---4.45)
WOW

They compared the black Houston qb to Edelman after the clown eisen said that Switzer looks like he belongs on the patriots.

Yes, and what happens when he gets jammed near the line of scrimmage?

Damn Kupp and Trent Taylor ran a 4.62 and 4.63. I hope this doesnt affect when they'll be drafted. I'm trying to be optimistic, but I just know that the 40 is so overrated it might bite us on the ass.

Kupp will probably be a 3rd-4th rounder. My guess is that Taylor will go undrafted unless he kills the three cone drill and some team appreciates that. We can't slot all white players to the Pats after all.

I saw Taylor play a few times this year and think he is easily a 3rd round pick in a fair world.

Sabans plantation producing some real model citizens this draft cycle. Amazing how this guy got a combine invite when Kelly did not and is only projected to drop to the 2nd round. But black privilege does not exist.

Alabama edge rusher Tim Williams admitted to multiple failed drug tests.

Williams would not cop to how many tests he has failed. In late February, Charlie Campbell and Eric Galko relayed that according to "team sources," off-field concerns could drop the 6-foot-4, 252-pounder into the second round come the draft. He will have to answer questions about these failed tests (plus a September arrest on gun and marijuana charges) in interviews with NFL teams. Mar 4 - 2:41 PM

So I guess the broken 40-yard dash record is a "dropped the mic" moment. and the affelet Ross can pack up without doing the other drills and leave the combine with a guaranteed first round spot. Black privilege. It must be nice.

TE George Kittle (6-4/247 lbs) ran a 4.52.

Was just about to post about Kittle. All of the "experts" were hyping up the Miami TE as some sort of freak athlete but Kittle was faster and right with him in every other drill. They must be confused that a Midwestern White kid can be more athletic than one of dem blacks wit dat Florida speed. Hopefully it helps Kittle's draft stock.

The other thing that was obvious caste system for the combine was how they mentioned McCaffrey skipping the bowl game but never once mentioned Fournette missing his bowl game. Or also how Fournette said he would do every drill at the combine but gets there and decides not to do the broad jump, 3 cone, or the short shuttle.

Some more WTF analysis:

DL Malik McDowell, Michigan State
This is one I didn't expect to happen, but here we are. Malik McDowell, well, let the tweet do the talking first.

Malik McDowell going off script, saying coaches eventually conformed to his style bc they couldnt change/improve him, says he cld play safety

3:29 PM - 4 Mar 2017

The most worrisome potential knock around McDowell, is that despite his immense talent and traits, he might have issues with coaching. Well that's what this quote seems to indicate. This is why a Top 10 player in terms of traits could fall to the middle of the first or late first. Plus, he wasn't super productive at Michigan State.

I have mentioned this bum and his lack of production earlier in the season and the idiot "analyst" comes out and says that oh he might not be a top 10 pick because he has not done **** and is lazy and has a poor attitude but you know what he's still a first rounder.

Also Maurice Jones-Drew was a big Nate Peterman fan talking about him leading Pitt to the upset over Clemson. Bucky Brooks and his two white clown buddies - Matt "Money" Smith(fagg0t) and Lance Zerlien (probably a member of the tribe) all piled on Peterman essentially writing him off while promoting Watson. Jones-Drew also went onto say what has Mariota done in the league as the three stooges compared Watson to him and they all gave Mariota the excuses about the support cast. I believe the conversation than turned to "athletic qbs" and Jones-Drew stated that which one has won a superbowl and the three stooges all started yelling Scam was the MVP but Jones-Drew was cut off before mentioning Scam's dud of a 2016 season that escaped all criticism.

Steve Smith also went on record saying that Cooper Kupp was his number 1 WR. I give credit to both Jones-Drew and Kupp for not drinking the caste kool-aid.

Sorry about all the random posts today - just got sucked into the combine coverage to see Trubisky and our WRs and the moronic, lemming, caste spewing analysis just set me off. I just can't grasp how these idiots go to the combine every year, say the same things about these players, get overexcited about 40 times and ignore production on the field. It does not take any sort of expert to put a football team together. I am willing to wager I could put a solid team together after following the draft for 13 years because I am able to recognize the great folly that is the combine.

I'm not sure why the combine site doesn't show the results of every test, but according to a news report, Christian (perhaps when he stayed late to run the receiver drills) led all running backs with an 11.03 time in the 60-yd shuttle. I checked on the combine site and that time would have put him in the top 15 for any player from any position from the years 2013-2016. No wonder a scout said that he showed himself to be a first round WR talent in the drills.

I haven't really watched the NFL in well over a decade, but Christian may just draw me back in.

All the results are here:
http://www.nfl.com/combine/tracker#day=friday
You can check each event by position.
I went through the running backs and McCaffrey completed dominated!
However, the media has not picked up on this.
He was...
1st in the 3 cone drill by .25 seconds!
1st in the 60 yd shuttle by more than 2/10ths of a second!
2nd (tied) in the vertical jump
4th in the 20 yd shuttle
4th (tied) in the 40
8th (tied) in the LJ

Ryan Switzer was tied for the fastest 20 yd shuttle time for the Wide Receivers.
Trent Taylor was tied for 2nd fastest, and Cooper Kupp was 5th fastest.
That's good news for Cooper because his 40 and jumps were disappointing.
