Wow. I got distracted on a break and missed a lot of the second half.

Six blocked shots. A lot of guys who can get blocks like that are one trick ponies with few other outstanding skills. Not this kid.

I hope he sticks around at least another year so he can beef up a little and hone his skills.

Well, at least one team in the championship game will be somewhat supportable. So often it seems that the finalists, even if they have one white starter he'll just be a role player. With the Bulldogs the white players who play are key contributors and pretty strong dudes as well.

Oregon play 2 whites, 1 starter 1 off the bench. Freshman PG Payton Pritchard 6'2 a true PG with great vision and passing ability with quickness. Junior G Casey Benson 6'3 plays around 20 minutes off the bench, don't know much about him but looks to be a lights out shooter with a shooting percentage of 41%. Benson was a starter last year, guess they recruited an upside guy to replace him. Like their Football team seems to be becoming less white friendly as the years go by.

North Carolina start ZERO whites. However, Sophomore F Luke Maye 6'8 has really come along in the tournament( scored the game winner to advance from the elite eight), and has emerged as the first man off the bench playing close to starter minutes. Maye is a strong, physical rebounder with some touch, has a good mid-range jumper. Only other white player to see any gametime is Senior G Stilman White 6'1, who is usually thrown in for 5 or so minutes a game to give da real affletes a breather. Gone are the day's of Tyler Hansbrough, maybe Luke Maye can be the new Psycho T?
I'll be rooting for Oregon, because they start a white true freshman PG Pritchard which is getting rare in D1 Basketball.

It appears that the state of North Carolina has unfortunately caved to the economic pressure brought about by the satanic globalists and is scrapping the anti transgender mutant-freak HB2. We all know that Wisconsin was screw-jobbed by the referees two years ago in the national champioship game against Duke. Maybe as a reward for getting rid of HB2, the refs give UNC the benefit of the doubt when possible in the game against Gonzaga? Call me a conspiracy theorist.

I think the key for the Zags is getting the ball moving through the big Pole and him not getting in foul trouble. When he gets guys to converge on him and passes to the open guards or Collins they are usually wide open and can convert the dish. Supposedly the smart money favors the Zags and the general public favors UNC. Even the announcing crew were questioning the call. The call all but turned Karnowski into a paper lion down the stretch. He wasn't his usual aggressive self under the glass and the offense didn't flow through him. In the last minute Goss panicked and that was the game. In an interesting side note Barkley kept his picking streaking. He reminds me of this guy.......

All the talk on the morning sports shows are about the poor or over-officiating. Of course, the main problem with the officiating, the gorilla in the room, is being ignored. That is - the best player on the court, Zach Collins, only played 14 of the 40 minutes and fouled out with not one call being an obvious foul. Kardowski - the other big white guy only played 29 minutes because of foul trouble. It's the same old story - any dominant white player must be constantly concerned about fouling out because the refs have an automatic microscope on their every move.

The officiating was horrendous but the Zags just missed way too many shots. In the second half their guards just went stone cold. Couldn't hit shots they had been making all season and in the first half. Karnowski couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, he missed so many close shots he had been making all during the tournament. And Williams-Goss, 88% FT shooter, was 4-8 from the line. The game was there for Gonzaga to win and they didn't do it.

But they do have this experience under their belt so it should make them stronger.

Basically an all black team winning it all reinforces the idea you can ONLY win with black players so that is always a major concern going forward. But in a general sense Gonzaga's back court along with the big Polish guy missing bunnies were not up to the task of beating North Carolina. The calls did favor NC though. The most talented guy on the floor as mentioned above was Zach Collins and he barely played due to some ticky tack crap foul calls. ( see above) But he did flash his talent when he was in the game and that probably was the most important thing going into the game. He could jump to the pros and get drafted in the first round this year. Poeltl of Utah jumped last year and has been a scrub all year instead of a dominating player at Utah. Collins, who has more upside than Poeltl, has terrific projection but there are so many areas he could improve upon so for me two or three more years of college would do him wonders. He is not ready to become an established pro so he would be wise to stay in school. He would start next season and he would be a major headline!! The NBA can wait and once he gets there down the road I see a possible future all star.
