Often a favourite around here, the 2017 Packers will continue to go against the grain in the NFL in modern times, and be very successful at that - they're just about equal favourites with the Seahawks to take out the NFC for the first time since 2010.

Site favourite Jordy Nelson will return after leading the league in touchdown receptions last season, and will hopefully equal or better those numbers in 2017. Rodgers will, as always, be an MVP candidate, but having Brett Hundley as his back-up rather than Joe Callahan wasn't a smart move. The OL had 3/5 starters and 3 back-ups on the 53, which definitely is lower than we'd expect from the Packers but the depth is promising, with 2016 second-round pick Jason Spriggs hopefully going to push to start in one of the guard spots in 2017. The Packers will still be at the bottom in the NFL for tight ends, as they continue with an all-black position by signing Martellus Bennett to join two other busts. Four starters on defense is right up there in this league, including three at linebacker and the second-season Dean Lowry.

QB: Aaron Rodgers
FB: Aaron Ripkowski
WR: Jordy Nelson, Jeff Janis (Also KR)
OL: David Bakhtiari, Corey Linsley, Bryan Bulaga, Jason Spriggs, Lucas Patrick, Kyle Murphy

DE: Dean Lowry
OLB: Clay Matthews, Kyler Fackrell
ILB: Jake Ryan, Blake Martinez

Special Teams: K Mason Crosby, P Justin Vogel, LS Brett Goode
Practice Squad: QB Joe Callahan

Starters: 10
Total on 53-man roster: 18
Note: C Don Barclay and OLB Vince Biegel are currently on the IR and therefore not on the 53-man roster. They both would obviously be in the 53 were they healthy. FB Joe Kerridge is also on the IR, I'm unsure as to whether he'd have made the 53 though.

They're down on their 2016 results, but it's still the team to root for in the NFC. Rodgers-to-Nelson will stay one of the most lethal combinations in the NFL, while the defence will be worth watching.

Go Pack Go, good caste matchup tomorrow afternoon when they face Plantation Petes thugs. Looking forward to Rodgers, Jordy, and 4 white starters on Defense!

Packers just promoted G Adam Pankey to active roster, that's now 3 sumos on their active roster, and they just signed another to their practice squad. Alarming trend seeing both GB and NE breaking up their snow plows that have helped them achieve so much success over the past decade.

Probably scared they'll be called racists if their roster is too white - see Chip Kelly and the eagles. We all know teams would prefer to satisfy the left and "diversity" rather than succeed.

Starting ROLB Nick Perry is going to miss several weeks with a hand injury, meaning Kyle Fackrell will be starting in his place to really make this Packers defence look appealing - a Snow Patrol at LB with Matthews, Martinez, Ryan and Fackrell starting and Lowry starting at DE.

Now that's a pleasant surprise! Good for Fackrell and the Pack. They should dismantle Marvin Xs Bengals tomorrow.

Jake Ryan didn't practice all week because of a concussion and is listed as doubtful for tomorrow. His snaps were reduced quite a bit in the first two games as well.

A slightly better way to view my team since I didn't watch much Sunday is on the Packers own website. They had some breakdowns of some defensive plays I found interesting and at this point in the week no commercials

Rodgers out for season. Packers are done, they better draft one of the many talented white qbs coming out in `18 because Hundley sucks.

They had 2 talented White guys in preseason, as you know, and cut them. I’d love to see Taysom Hill running this offense but instead he’s a 3rd stringer on the Saints.

Anthony Barr is the same player that injured Matt Barkley during Barkley's senior year in college.

Apparently he likes pile driving pale faced QBs.. It is pretty concerning that Arod has another serious shoulder injury, second time he's broken same collarbone. Packers starting OL has been decimated by injuries and their depth among backups is pretty pathetic..

He's on GBs practice squad after getting cut during preseason when Pack decided to roll with only 2 QBs on 53man roster. Maybe he'll get a chance, after another 10 or so ints from the upsider.

And of course Barr doesn't care how liberal Rodgers is. All he sees is skin color. Get a clue, white liberals.

Packers sign an incompetent black quarterback in Jerrod Evans to their PS.. All but lost my patience with this year's squad. I'd be okay with them losing out as long as Hundley is leading the way. I'll be rooting for their blue collared front 7 defenders plus Jordy but that's it.

After Rodgers' imbecilic and hyper-cucked political outbursts regarding Muslims, Trump, and the BLM Anthem Protests, I'm only upset about his injury because of the way it will impact the great Jordy Nelson. Aside from the red zone, Rodgers was mostly ignoring him this season anyway. They should be playing from behind, so hopefully Hundley will be forced to take some long shots to Nelson throughout the season. Jordy has four 1,000-yard seasons, but he'll need a miracle to hit the mark this year.

can hundley actually accurately throw deep downfield to hit Nelson? As well it looked like Packers O line was letting hundley get hit...payback for Carr maybe?

Packers release sumo bum DL in Jean Francois, in order to make room for the arrival of Vince Biegel to 53 man roster!

The Packers o-line may be 3/5 sumo trying to protect their black quarterback, unless Spriggs is healthy enough to play. Jordy Nelson has been rendered all but useless. Janis remains nothing but a WSTD. White TEs remain taboo. Ripkowski and his power back running style has been forgotten.

Their defense is still worth rooting for but the offensive formula that worked so well for so long has been pretty much gutted.

Packers RT Bryan Bulaga suffered a torn ACL Monday night against the Lions. The Packers feared a serious injury after the game, and it ended up being a season-ender. Bulaga should be placed on injured reserve this week, another blow to a struggling offense. Justin McCray filled in at right tackle against Detroit, but 2016 second-rounder Jason Spriggs is expected to be activated off injured reserve soon.

Packers cut bonehead Bennett.

“Failure to Disclose an Injury” means that Bennett could be forced to give back the money the Packers paid him this season. I guess all that Black Power fist-raising wasn’t good for his injured shoulder. I think this locker room cancer has played his last game.
