It's not gonna happen but it would be amusing if it did. Mike McCarthy: "Listen up cheeseheads, after being forced to release Aaron Rodgers, we've decided that Brett Hundley is still our starting quarterback going forward. We've spent the last three years bringing him along and we feel 2018 is the year his mouth watering upside will come to the fore and he will continue the legacy of great quarterbacking for the Green Bay Packers represented over the past quarter century by Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers. What could possibly go wrong? Have a great day."

Sources: Teams complain that Packers violated IR rule, think Aaron Rodgers should be released

Multiple teams complained to the NFL last week that the Packers violated the rules regarding players who are eligible to be placed on injured reserve -- and that Green Bay should have to release quarterback Aaron Rodgers as a result, league sources told ESPN.

NFL rules stipulate that a player needs to have suffered a new injury that would sideline him at least six weeks to be placed on injured reserve. If that is not the case, the team is obligated to release the player once he is healthy.

McCarthy has preached all along that he believes in Brett Hundley - a QB that has been coddled by the media, been afforded 3 years to learn a system and delivered absolutely nothing when he was called upon to replace Rogers.

as a QB Hundley is a joke, even his negro receivers gave up on him in last nights game lol I did notice Janis was on the field for more than 1 offensive play, makes the nice catch for a first down and has 1 other target on a deep route that was over thrown by at least 4-5 yards. Janis is very very fast as he is always first downfield on punt coverage and should be fielding kick offs and punts with his 4.3 speed.
