2016 NFL Week 13

I am pulling for Houston. The Packers have been a huge disappointment to me this year with personnel decisions.

I can understand that, I've been as frustrated as any by their misuse of personnel. For me though it's Green n Gold til I'm Dead n Cold. Maybe it's the inner DWF in me, but I'll always be biased when it comes to Wisconsin and Green Bay. Silly as it sounds these two teams personify the working class spirit and pride in the state. GB is also only team that is owned by the city not one owner(s). Only other team I can think of that has blue collar feel is Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Pats keep building their lead despite Gronkowski being out for the year and Amendola hurt his ankle too. Julian Edelmann is up to 7 catchs fro 95 yards and Hogan has a touchdown. Want to see the Pats run the table though the last 4 games.

10th TD catch on season for Jordy!

Well Burkhead breaks off an awesom catch and run but fumbles it. Guess that's the end of his career! Man he has moves though! This is the first time I have seen him play...he is legit and should be starting on half the teams.
He may at least have the rest of this season to go, Jeremy Hill has a whopping 28 yards on 20 carries!

Looks like Flacco is heating up at the right time and him and Pitta are on the same page.

Jordy !! Just babied the CB for a strong catch!! 8 for 118yds and now a reverse to Janis!

Ripppppp!!! TD run for 2nd year Fullback!

Edelman over 100 yards for the first time this season. Despite paying with 3 different QB's, he could manage to hit the 1,000-yard mark.

Jordy now has about 870 yards and should easily break 1,000.

Kelce having a huge day, nearly 150 yards. He'll have over 800 yards after today and could get his 1st 1,000-yard season.

Barkley leads the Bears over the 49ers. Kelly could of signed him as a FA once AZ cut him but decided not to.

Mark this day down in history. It's probably been 40 or 50 years since we had 2 white running backs carrying the ball on the same day. Even if they aren't starting I'm proud of both of them.

So far Rex Burkhead has 8 runs for 38 yards. He has also caught the ball out of the backfield very well.

Zach Zenner has 9 runs for 40 yards!

Maybe these two teams will wake up and smell the coffee. Play these kids more.

Worst case scenario is that Rex is a free agent. Maybe the Pats will sign him after the year.

We had some games with Hillis, Toby and Leonard all running the ball but yes it is few and far between for our guys. And not trying to be facetious but worst case for Burkhead is that once he is a FA he does not get signed and is forgotten.

The Patriots are pretty solid at RB right now. Are there any other teams that would sign Burkhead and actually give him an opportunity to play the position rather than being a deep backup and WSTD?

But -- if he re-signs with Cincy, something someone suffering from Stockholm Syndrome would do, then I'll lose all respect for him. Or, instead of Stockholm Syndrome, we can rename it Steve Tasker Syndrome.

If it is his only offer than I wouldn't blame him. Look at all the bum RBs in the league who all get playing time over him. I do hope some team offers him a a deal in which he will be able to contribute in an offense or the Bengals agree to expand his role.

I'm sure someone would sign Rex to play the same role he plays with the Bengals. He needs to believe in himself and have a good agent that really tries to sell him to a new team rather than continuing to settle for a few crumbs every great now and then. He just seems to me to play the team mascot role a little too eagerly, hope I'm wrong. No one mistook Peyton Hillis for a team mascot. We're in the Trumpening now, it's a new era and White masculinity is back. Rex needs to think and act like he's The Man.
