NE's trio of White defenders, Long, McClellin and Ninkovich, all had sacks. Shea lead the way too with 7 total tackles.
Good for Shea; he really needs to make some plays down the stretch, as this could be his last shot at a starting gig. Good to see Nink and Long still doing it; seems like every time I watch the Pats, the commentators are whining about the pass rush, yet they continue to win/dominate...
Wolfe, Crick, and Adam Gotsis all saw playing time on Denver's D-line in their win over the Jags.
It'll be nice to see all three in there at the same time; that fatso Sylvester Williams is pretty much useless anyway...
The Redskins poly sumo needs to be replaced. I really hope the Redskins have a white friendly draft and sign Cousins to a long term deal.
Cousins has been a top 5 QB this year, no question, and the D is fun to watch too. Kerrigan and Murphy are both among league leaders in sacks. Compton is getting better every week; I just hope they don't pull the plug on his development like Atlanta did with Worrilow, because the DWFs hate him.
Anyway, they'll be looking for receiver help for sure (Abbrederis/Hartline?) They could use a safety, tackle, a pair of corners (not that that matters to me), and hopefully Matt Ioannidis can get into the lineup next year. I'd also like to see them bring in a veteran LB to pair with Compton inside, maybe James Laurinaitis?
Whatever happened to Colin Jones? Seemed so promising.
One of their starting safeties is out tonight, so where indeed is Colin Jones? He doesn't even get into the sub packages much anymore... The most upsetting part is that Jones is probably the fastest guy on the team.
Scam's regression this season should be a huge story considering the media anointed him the MVP last year.
Yeah, and it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. He's playing just like he played his first 4 years in the league: middling at best to down right terrible... this is Cam Newton...
Playoff picture in the NFC is disgusting... I really hope Washington, Green Bay, and Minnesota find a way in.
