The number of white wrs given combine snubs is quite amazing when seeing how well they perform at pro days.

Illinois safety Clayton Fejedelem had a great pro day:

6'0" 204 lbs
40.5 inch vert
10-1 broad jump
40 timed between 4.45 - 4.50

Combine that with his in field production and he should be an early round pick.

Yet he was another combine snub.

Amazing how we see great pro day performances by our guys outside the controlled environment of the combine.

Oregon LB Joe Walker had a stellar pro day showing after being a combine snub

37.5" inch vert
10'4" broad jump
23 bench press reps
4.60 40

Alex Balducci also reportedly had an impressive workout

According to walterfootball Joe Walker big question mark was "questionable athleticism" before his pro day.

Tyler Johnstone also had a good positional workout.

Oregon produces good white players that always get overlooked.

The "Godfather" of the NFL Draft Gil Brandt did not even mention Fejedelem's workout in his pro day write ups. I'd rather consider Brandt Godfather of the caste system.

Here he is though trying to make excuces for an SEC WR that ran in the 4.8s at the combine:

Wide receiver De'Runnya Wilson -- 6-4 5/8, 227 -- ran the 40-yard dash in 4.78 seconds. He had a 28-inch vertical jump and 9-foot-4 broad jump. He did the 20-yard short shuttle in 4.52 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.16 seconds. He performed 13 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. Wilson was a basketball player, and that style of play has translated to the football field. He bodies up defenders to catch the ball. Wilson doesn't run fast, but has outstanding ball skills.


Here is what he says about Spruce:

Wide receiver Nelson Spruce -- 6-1 1/4, 203 -- ran the 40 in 4.65 and 4.56 seconds. He did the short shuttle in 4.28 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.18 seconds. Spruce had a great positional workout. He really knows how to run routes and catch balls. As the Pac-12's all-time leader in career receptions, Spruce is an accomplished receiver. A concern with Spruce, however, is speed

If any white wideout had the workout numbers that "De'Runnya" had, he would be a fringe TE prospect. Spruce' problem is that he doesn't have an affletic enough name!

Two key guys to watch. Safety Fejedelem who displayed proper speed for safety 4.53 and great hops over 40 inches vertical. Alex Erickson who is a slot receiver with excellent speed 4.44 and off the charts quickness ala Edelman.. He is similar to Camapanaro who was drafted but I think he is actually better and more durable. Erickson had a tremendous college career and he simply cannot be covered one on one.
The trend as we know is to kill off these two guys come draft day. Erickson can also return punts and Fejedelem can play special teams. If these two guys do not get drafted then you figure what is the point of anything?
Looking forward to Braverman's 40 on the 15th.

• Rotoworld's Josh Norris thinks the Seahawks may be interested in Boston College DT Connor Wujciak as an offensive lineman. In terms of cumulative SPARQ testing, Wujciak was the top defensive tackle at the NFL Combine. The Seahawks like to find non-traditional, athletic defensive lineman and move them to the other side.

The only two college defensive linemen that Seattle has drafted to convert to offensive line were white - JR Sweezy and Kristjan Sokoli. I guess we can add non-traditional to the caste vernacular.

The Crawfordsdepot did a write up for Vitale. They were fairly complimentary to him and his great ability to do many things.

I really hope the Pats get him in the 2nd/3rd round and use him as an RB. He would be unlike any RB they have had under the current regime.

Vitale was criminally underused at NW this past season, he IMO is an exceptional player, and he would be on my second round board.

I'm sure Vitale and his awesome skillset and measurables would go right up there in the first few rounds and first few RBs selected if he had that one thing different about him.

But of course if Vitale wasn't white he'd have been offered scholarships to every school in the nation, given the starting job day one and possibly even have Heisman under his belt.

Definitely hoping we draft him, but knowing our history we'll ruin him...

LSU had their pro day - i really don't care as Les Miles has done nothing for white athletes but I found it interesting that all but one of the LSU players had longer arms at the combine than they did at their pro day - they are pretty sizable differences (1 inch to 2 inches) - makes me wonder if the arm length measurements are done like that on purpose to provide another strike against white athletes in the controlled combine enviroment. Granted it is a very small sample size but makes me wonder:

Eagan, Erickson, Braverman, and Glidden would have competed well athletically had they received combine invites. Guess that's why they were excluded. Slowest class of WRs in 20 years and white guys still can't get invited.

I hate when a white player is described as a "freak of nature". Rarely is a black singled out similarly. After all, we are to believe they are all "freaks of nature" athletically. Only when a white player stands out so completely that they can't be ignored is this term bandied about. After all, to the experts and DWF's, the vast majority of white players are slow, can't jump, have no short-area speed ("burst"), are stiff, and some even have "boring feet". When the truth is that they are simply crowded out and ignored.

The White "freaks of nature" also don't seem to pan out in the NFL, or never even get a chance. Cooper Taylor, Jameson Konz, Margus Hunt and Matt Jones come to mind but there are plenty of others. Every year there are White wide receivers, running backs, defensive backs and players at other positions who put up sterling measurables, but what happens to them? Too stupid or lacking the motivation to succeed? Not hardly. The league doesn't want true White "freaks" because they are mold shatterers. It's easy to see this when it comes to quarterbacks, as one White QB after another with standout running ability has either not been drafted, drafted but not given a genuine opportunity, or switched to another position, which rarely works out.

2 underrated OL: Guard Alex Karras of Illinois and Kyle Friend of Temple. Karras has great bloodlines and size(6'4 300) 32 bench reps. Friend (6'1 295) has incredible strength benching 225 41 times at his pro day.
