I bought a draft magazine, Pro Football Draft Guide.

It has Joey Bosa listed as the top prospect. Jared Goff is listed as the top quarterback prospect and the number three overall prospect.

Anyone else sick of the "run, Rich run" annual event featuring Rabbi Eisen running the 40 that is hyped over and over during the Combine? Purportedly raising money for charity, its main purpose seems to be to reinforce the image of White men as slow and hopelessly unathletic after several days of the announcers drooling over the rigged, 80% or so black field of Combine invitees.

Ya no one gives a Damn about some cluck running in a suit.. The other day they had one of NFL networks female host run the forty along with Heath Evans and the ultra athletic Nate Burrellson(sarcasm of course). It was comical watching the former black WR try and explain his 5 flat 40. Evans a FB ran an impressive 4.82 couple years out of the league!

Wright ran a 4.91 - not terrible but it will give all of the haters ammo to try and knock him down.

What exactly is this Alabama pedigree I am hearing of? Who are the dominant players they have been putting out?

Every DL that steps up to do the 40 Mayock claims a "potential 1st rounder."

Mayock is a clown and parody of himself.

Ya I liked him when he first came out. Now he's gone full caste whore , assuming to keep his comfy job at NFL Network..

The dline and lb workouts did not really yield any remarkable results for our guys.

Apparently Bosa underwhelmed in his 40 running a 4.86 (his 10 yd split was a good 1.69). His overall workout was solid, from what I saw when he ran the LB drills he should be able to make the transition to 3-4 OLB. The media however is going to hold his supposedly slow 40 against him and try to push him down the draft a little. I still believe he will be a top 10 pick.

Carl Nassib really impressed me but the broadcast I was watching seemed to be more interested any talking about whatever afflete ran before him. He ran a 4.84 40 but had a very explosive 1.62 10 yd split indicating a quick first step and explosiveness. I think his stock will remain steady but there was almost no talk of him at all. This is a guy who in one year as a starter was more productive than players who had 3/4 year careers due to melanin.

Connor Wujciak impressed in running a 4.91 40 at 291 lbs and his overall workout was also solid. James Cowser is a probably DE to OLB convert and I thought he looked pretty good in the LB drills, he would be a smart alternative to some of the media darlings - Correa and Noah Spence who are getting all the hype.

Heretic mentioned Lowry who was an absolute wrecking ball this year at Northwestern. I think Zettel was also solid in his workouts. Look for the short arm excuse for both of these guys though and complete neglect of both of their superlative collegiate careers. In a fair world they would be mid-round players but I don't have a great feeling either will be drafted.

I think the one guy who might of gotten a bump is Matthew Ioannidis who was very good at 300 lbs and carried over his momentum from his good senior bowl performance.

Drew Ott and Adam Gostis did not workout due to injury.

The LB workouts might of gone a little better. Scooby did not run a blazing 40 (4.90/1.67 10 yd split which is pretty good) but amazingly he is the one white player that seems to get a pass that his game tape production outweighs combine performances. I think he will end up going in the 4th round and have a big rookie year like Borland. I could see Scooby making a living in a 3-4 defense as a downhill defender making a living in the backfield of opposing offenses. He did look very good dropping back in coverage during the LB drills as well. Matakevich is in the same mold - uber productive linebacker and is a tackling machine like Borland as well. I think both will be steals.

The Utah St. guys Fackrell and Vigil fared pretty well - Fackrell should of solidified a 2nd round grade for himself and I think Vigil has cemented himself a 3rd round grade.

Joe Schobert answered questions about his speed, looked good in drills and hopefully proved some doubters wrong with a very complete and solid workout. Much like Scooby he lived in opposing teams backfields. He was not at all mentioned as a pass rushing option when the supposed experts were talking about Correa. However when you compare Correa to Schobert - Schobert had the better combine to go along with a better collegiate career. It is amazing how the white players get constantly overlooked.

Joe Schobert
6'1 244 lbs
4.76 4o 1.63 10 yd split
22 Bench Press reps
33.5 inch vert
111 inch broad jump

Kamalei Correa
6'3" 243 lbs
4.69 40 1.63 10 yd split
21 Bench Press Reps
33 inch vert
108 inch broad jump

Correa was constantly talked up and mentioned as a late 1st/early 2nd round guy and I honestly did not hear a word uttered about Schobert.

Martinez and Kwiatowski ran well - low 4.7 range for both of them. Norris was probably the only disappointment, I thought he would run faster than 4.8 and would also put up more reps in the bench press because he is a very physical player.

I found it comical how slow many of the SEC players were as well as how many unproductive affletes were invited to the combine while neglecting uber productive white players.

I think a realistic over/under number for the total number of white defensive players drafted this year is 10.

I really think that all of these talking heads are working off a script. They only talk about and push certain players. I was also amazed how many times I heard the word football player being thrown around for white players today yet it is ironic that the football players are neglected year in and year out while a shoddy product with piss poor fundamentals is being passed off as the best players in the world playing the game.

I am done with the combine for this year and have no intention to watch tomorrow as it is yet another whiteout at the DB position.

There's no question about it. It's really no different than the broadcast of a football game, where the announcers in conjunction with the producers, directors, etc., coordinate their talking points well before the game. The way the video highlights start the instant a player's name is mentioned is one of the "tells" that give the script away, and they're getting little reminders in their earpieces all during the broadcast from the "truck" that are obvious at times; Jon Gruden is particularly easy to observe following the pre-game scripts when he starts rhapsodizing about players.

There has to be a script to some degree; it would end up unintentionally funny as hell if all the NFL Network announcers, including the affirmative action hires, tried to freelance something like the Combine. And of course the Combine becomes the initial unveiling of the script for the Draft, with continuous tweaks during the two months between the Combine and the Draft.

I didn't watch non-stop the past two days, but one thing I noticed was as I was waiting for certain White players to run the 40 or another drill, the talking heads would either start talking about some black prospect, including footage of him, or they would cut to a commercial break. Maybe it wasn't intentional, but I put nothing past the Caste enablers and all of the media in general.

Just wanted to check the 40 times for the DBs. There are some really slow CBs and Safeties - but remember they are the most athletic group everyone

Some of the more laughable ones:
Miles Kilebrew who was labeled as a small school workout warrior runs a 4.67 when projected to run a 4.45
Darian Thompson who is supposedly nothing less than a 2nd round pick runs a 4.70
Free Shoes University afflete Lamarcus Brutus with a 4.76 40
Iowa DB Jordan Lomax (if he was white he would not of been invited because the combine has no interest in white Big Ten DBs) runs a 4.77
A.J. Stamps showing off that elite SEC speed with a 4.82 40

16 of these DBs ran a 4.60 or slower.

Interestingly enough the media was lamenting how slow the WR class was, ironic since it was 99% black. There seems to be quite a few very slow DBs as well. It makes all of the white LBs who ran yesterday look alot better IMO.

Seemed like the only group of affletes who ran relatively "fast" were the defensive tackles. Mayock and his fellow Caste clowns were waxing poetic about them, saying this is the best group of DTs in the past decade. Considering that every draft sees ridiculous amounts of black DTs drafted early, this year's festival should be especially filled with them.

If the Combine had a large number of White invitees who ran as slow as many black WRs, RBs and DBs did, it would be an instant national punchline. The Caste System was glaringly on display for those with eyes to see, a lot of slow and/or "raw" invitees lacking in college production but somehow still filled with "upside." If these are the "best in the country," it shows yet again that the black talent pool for football continues to shrink annually.

I feel that every year where our guys have a decent number of white players that are draft able that position seems to magically become the most deep position in the draft which basically means inflating unproductive black players so that they are picked ahead of the better and more deserving white players.

I am sure we will see plenty of this occur this year. The trend of drafting no name
non-combine invitees will probably also continue to fill the ranks with undeserving blacks. That has been one of the newer trends I've noticed.

It makes me wonder if improved timing devices are resulting in slower times.

They'd both make ideal Patriots. Of course I feel the same way about Nelson Spruce. It's pathetic there are no other teams most of us would like to see the few White "skill" guys drafted by. That includes the Packers, who if they draft Cajuste or Spruce would put them through a prolonged racial apprenticeship.

Here's the only highlights film I could find on Vitale. He apparently never (or very rarely) was "allowed" to run the ball at Northwestern despite being powerful, quite fast for his size, and nimble. Hmm, I wonder why? A black prospect with his measurables and size would be seen as nothing but a potential three-down running back who could also be a huge asset as a receiver.

In the draft coverage I watched when talking about Nelson Spruce - they talked about the Patriots and Broncos being potential landing spots for Spruce
And the commentator said don't forget
the packers - they draft white wrs too.

Vitale was one of the combine standouts for sure. I could easily see him being a running back at the next level - the Pats love big running backs so why not draft one that has some actual receiving skills.

Another horrible combine. Two years in a row I score it a D -. Like that year only one thing really stood out for me--Last year LB Davis Tull this year Jeff Driskell who blew away the QB field with a 4.56 40. Still despite being big enough like Tull Driskell is projected to be a back up QB at best so my enthusiasm is tempered on that score. Sure there are a few good white prospects many mentioned above but I can't sugarcoat this combine.
At the end of last years combine I had grave concerns about this year and they were realized. Still I expected a bit better especially the linebackers and D ends in the 40.
There are three things killing off the white athlete and everyone mentions them.
1-the constant media barrage and degradation of the white athlete and the general opinion that whites are totally inferior esp in terms of speed quickness explosion and leaping ability. This kills recruiting, encouragement and desire. Spiritual murder I call it.
2- the slotting that takes place at birth where whites are steered away from all speed positions.
3- even in all white schools the kids that show a potential in speed are not pushed hard enough to get faster. Becoming fast takes practice and pushing and and a great desire to run fast. Since many of these kids realize their chances of getting recruited etc. are slim they don't try as hard as they should not to mention other outside distractions not involving sports.. In other words the way things are laid out today is obviously not working for whites---so the focus has to change and become much more intense in areas of speed.
This combine is a cruel reminder that we will go tour graves without seeing an NFL CB--hell the NCAA has what one from BYU? and that it looks like the starting white WR will be a thing of the past very shortly.
This should be a wake up call and but so far not much has changed.
The NFL is turning joyless .

Good post Shadowlight. I really do not think anything is really changing for better or worse though. As Don says it is a totally manufactured/engineered system. I do agree with your list though. The racial funneling system starts in pop warner football and every step along the way it gets worse with more and more stringent enforcement of the caste system. The recruiting services take over on the high school to college transition in trying to eliminate white players. Very few do get few the cracks and are recruited while others as we know defy the odds as walk-ons to become quality college football players. The combine is the last 100% controlled event so of course white exclusion should be expected. The thing with the combine - their are way to few white players invited to get any sort of sample size. You can't go off of what 2 white wrs do in a group of 30 wrs, what 9 lbs do in a group of 40, what 8 dlinemen do in a group of 50 dlinemen invited. The pro days do have their limitations but the pool is open a little more to the forgotten white players but the problem is their is not enough national recognition when white players perform well at pro days - it just gets swept under the rug.

I do think that their are plenty of whites who are very fast and athletic - they just don't get the recognition they deserve though. I wouldn't get to upset about it to be honest because what is being presented is not reality.

Racial funneling is a great term Leonardfan and yes it does get more stringent every step up the ladder. I sense public frustration over the lack of white skill players and speed oriented guys. Note the excitement when a white guy does run to daylight. I think that elite speed needs to be nourished, emphasized and nurtured. The chronic fatalism of coaches and sports people surrounding white speed only stunts developing players progress. While tons of white kids may have the base to become very fast it takes years of development for it to reach the ceiling. There is simply not enough encouragement given to white athletes to reach their potential when it comes to speed. While black athletes cultivate it daily too often white athletes are stuck in rigid systems that discourage running to daylight.
The combine annoys the living crap out of me-- (and yes it is not a full sample} because it reinforces the stereotypes and I agree with Don this run Rich run thing is a bad joke.
By the way Don I like the streamlined site . And I like the expanding message which cuts down on clutter.
Anyway Leonardfan it seems on the surface next years combine should be better than these last two. I am sure we will start discussing it in the not too distant future.
I like Fackrell a lot. Love to see him slip into the first round. I don't think he is yet up to full speed due to the acl injury.
Lets see what happens on the pro days.

the two above snippets are spot on. i see this all the time in my home state of Arkansas. please allow me to share a quick anecdotal piece of evidence from my current school (which has a student body approximately 60-40 White-hispanic):

- the fastest kid in 7th grade is a White boy ... who didn't even go out for the track team.
- the fastest kid in 8th grade is a White boy ... who didn't even go out for the track team.
- the fastest girl in 7th grade is a White girl ... who didn't even go out for the track team.

you don't get faster without working on getting faster. the aforementioned kids are athletes (one is the best guard prospect in the basketball program, another is the most dynamic skill position player on the football team,), yet none see the need to run fast. this a BIG part of the problem.
