You are right in Green Bay he could start right away.

Because he'd be such a good fit is why he likely end up exactly where he'll be the least needed.

With Nelson and Adams injured (ankle) Janis has moved up the chart at least for practice so far this week.

Injuries at wide receiver force the Packers to start Janis and McCaffrey. Janis responds with 8 catches for 165 yards and 2 TDs. Max lights it up with 12 receptions for 375 yards and 3 TDs. Both are subsequently waived during training camp. Mike McCarthy: "Both are talented, but we felt that Aaron just couldn't trust them. Geronimooooo!"

I was laughing at this but the thing is, it could happen that way.

I would tend to agree with the writer on this (one time sports media is not a joke) Clay is not the 11mil player

http://www.jsonline.com/story/sport...lack-pressure-dooms-packers-defense/96958846/

He's not. He's been injury prone and his production has declined almost to zero! He finished with 24tkls and 5 sacks this year. Not nearly enough of a factor for an already pathetic Packers defense. Especially their all black secondary, where maybe one afflete can break a 4.6 40! Clay is on the downswing of his career. I'd like to see him bounce back but he looked slow and average every time I watched him this year. Could be the end of the line for this guy.
