2016 College Football Week 1

It seems like everytime Wisconsin has a good run it gets called back for holding. But I've seen multiple plays where Wisconsin rushers are being held trying to get to the QB with no calls.

Miss st and now LSU go down in the opening weekend. Wouldn't mind seeing USC beat Alabama tonight.

Iowa, Wisconsin and Michigan look strong this year in the Big 10.

Great win for unranked Wisconsin and their 14 white starters against LSU and the usual SEC fare. Very satisfying to see, as already mentioned above, Beigel chase the LSU scrambler out of the pocket and into his "comfort zone" so he could throw a terrible interception to end the game. The overgrown silverback getting tossed for clotheslining the Badger DB was icing on the cake.

Bart Houston looks dangerous at QB for the Badgers. I was impressed with a couple of his runs straight forward out of a collapsing pocket. The game wouldn't have been as close if he had limited his mistakes. If he can iron those out, Wisconsin is definitely in the Big Ten title hunt.
 
Wisconsin's win and South Alabama beating Miss St are nice victories, Wisconsin especially so of course. I'm so tired of all the miracle SEC finishes at the end of games. Today two games went the other way (now if only Tennessee had lost on Thursday night) as well. I wonder if there will be an emerging QB controversy at LSU.
 
On Wisconsin !! **** ya!! I missed whole game I was out all day on the lake fishing and jet skiing, awesome our boys pulled it out! Can't wait to catch the replay!
 
SEC looks really weak this year.

They talked him up for 2-3 minutes and proceeded to botch a handoff on his first play.

ETA: oh look at that he chucked one up for a 50 yard TD. He probably just won the starting job for the year ....
 
Very nice coverage by USC ! Ha! These all black secondaries are a joke.... I'm pulling for USC today but seriously this is the best they have to offer. Whites need not apply though.

Yep if I were Barnett, Bateman or any other white QB under scholarship at Alabama I would transfer on Monday.
 
and now a pick 6 by USC. The USC head coach has not adjusted at all to Alabama. I hope Dardnold gets a chance to play
 
Here's hoping Clemson black quarterback Watson has terrible game. Tired of hearing comparisons to Aaron Rodgers.

Jake Wieneke 8-196-2 TD's vs #13 TCU...still playing late 4th qtr

PROOF these players can play at the FBS Level!

Trent Taylor (La.Tech) had 8-78 including a nice punt return

Gehrig Dieter had a 45 yard TD catch

Former walk-on WR Hunter Renfrow TD catch...meant to add him to WR thread

Watching the Auburn game and they're talking about how Will Hastings had 49 TD receptions in his HS Jr. and Sr. seasons. Auburn decides he'd be a good backup kicker...
