They're both on my list, except I have Tull as a LB. High hopes for both!

Sweet! Tull started year with 26.5sacks and Wag 18.5! Both should be at FBS schools

Many of the so called experts have begun their assault on Mannion and Hogan - calling them both overrated. How can either of these players be overrated when all of the "experts" have them ranked as mid to late round picks?

I like that guy Shane Carder, He was accurate, moved well in the pocket, and made great decision in the three games I've seen him play. So I checked to see how he was rated, and CBSspots, and ESPN have him outside the top ten. I expect him to move up, but still that is absurd.

Yea I think Carden is a good qb and potential riser. None of the lemming scouting services or keyboard commando draft experts knew who bortles was and he was drafted high in the first round.

the "experts" are too busy touting their favorite dark skinned quarterbacks to pay attention to what happens to them in the nfl where it's obvious they can't play at the same level as the white qbs. They have to be propped up by strong defense
and running games.

Top SR. Prospects at QB

1. Bryce Petty 6'3 235 Baylor
Athletic QB with great size and.arm strength. Right now safe to say he is considered consensus top QB prospect!

2. Sean Mannion 6'5 220 Oregon State
More of a traditional pocket passer with great size and arm. He can really wing it.

3. Bo Wallace 6'4 217 Ole Miss
Another dual threat QB lone.bright spot on New Miss

4. Taylor Kelly 6'2 205 Arizona State
Spread QB who has orchestrated ASU high octane offense last.couple years.

5. Bryan Bennett 6'3 205 SE Louisiana
Since transferring from Oregon Bennett has become one of the most exciting players in.college football. He a averaged 8.7 ypc and 3000 pass yards!

6. Justin Worley Tenn 6'4 225
Big pocket passer. Best player on his team.

7. Taylor Heinicke Old Dominion 6'1 213
Another dual.threat who has put up ridiculous video.game type numbers! 12000 combined yards.

8. Shane Carden East Carolina 6'2 220
Dual threat Guy with great pedigree so far.

9. Garrett Grayson CSU 6'2 220
Pro style QB was very efficient last year in McElwains(former Bama o coordinator) offense.

10. Cody Fajardo Nevada 6'2 215
Similar player to Kaepernick but won't.receive same hype. We all know why!

** other guys to keep an eye on: Connor Halliday WSU, CJ Brown Mary, Jeff Driskel UF, Hutson Mason GA, and Dylan Thompson SC.

At about the halfway point in the season this is a pretty accurate projection Celticdb. I would drop Driskel off the list completely. Kelly looked good prior to being injured, Halliday should be a riser as well. Mason has the look of a good developmental QB. Honestly I think the NFL is going to be looking past the major college teams and their black quarterbacks. Those offenses simply do not transition over to the NFL. Hundley, Mariota, Winston, Prescott (the new black QB savior) will all be propped up but with the recent failures of Griffin, Smiff and Manuel the NFL will more than likely be weary of drafting these option type QBs.

Thank you sir. I agree Driskel has been a dissapointment. I'd also put Halliday in top 10 for sure.

Kind of off topic but I have followed the draft since 2004 and really witnessed it grow from a "football junkie's hobby to the cottage industry it is today with all of these self proclaimed draft experts spewing out the same caste non-sense year in and year out.

With that said I have noticed that some of the forums I posted on seem to be slowing to a crawl - specifically nfldraftcountdown.com and footballsfuture. They are not introducing new content. Draftdaddy is the drudgereport of the draft - basically an aggregator posting articles (and subtly covering white athletes more so than any other outlet). I just figured I would throw out that random observation.

D3wideout Jake Kumerow from white water is an intriguing prospect. 6'5 200lbs good speed, hands, and route running. He's no Jeff Janis but I see him as a Samardija clone! Also JJ Worton should b drafted "the catch" has gotten him some positive exposure!

How about Penn state LB Mike Hull?!?!?! This guys an absolutely stud.heart and soul of his defense. Has 86tackles already this year turned in a 19tkl 1int performance against Ohio St. Somehow he's not on the Butkus final award...

Hull has been nothing short of spectacular. Flying to the football. I think the pro issue is his size but I think he will run an eye opening 40 if he gets invited to the combine(he deserves at least that) and then I think he will be drafted in the first four rounds.

Maybe Hull is another Luke Kuechly.

Hull is a beast, a playmaking linebacker that can tackle - you know the type of LB that NFL defenses sorely lack.

As far as QBs go I am hoping Garrett Grayson starts gaining some traction as a high round draft pick. He is better than Derek Carr (who I really like last year).

I was watching some of the Penn State-Ohio State game and the announcers were praising Hull -- but gave the usual Caste bs that he "doesn't look the part" -- mentioning in particular that he's not tall enough to play in the NFL, the same crap said about Zach Thomas and lately Chris Borland. BTW, Borland excelled when he started in Week 7 because of an injury to the suddenly prematurely aged Patrick Willis, don't know if he'll be starting this week or not yet.

Anthony Zettel has also been amazing for PSU this season. Easily one of the most dominant defensive linemen in the country.

So far he has 21 Tackles, 8 TFL, 4 Sacks, 2 INTs (one returned for TD) and 3 PBUs.

Some bad news on the QB front as Halliday broke his leg and is out for the year. I have been scanning some of the draft articles and they all mention Halliday but claim his stats came solely from playing in the Mike Leach offense. Halliday had one of the best arms I have seen this year, throwing darts all over the field and making NFL caliber throws. I would argue that Mike Leach's offense translates better to the NFL than any of these spread option offenses so why Leach's offense is knocked but these spread option offenses get a pass? It's purely due to the caste system.

As far as other QBs - I think I have identified this year's from out of nowhere QB prospect - Garret Grayson. I strongly feel that he can be a late 1st/early 2nd rounder. I know it's way too early to really do any accurate projections but I feel Grayson is a QB on the rise. For any college football fan I would recommend catching a Colorado State game with him at the helm. He has a quick release, strong and accurate arm. He has also improved every year and is currently having one of the better seasons any QB in the nation is having.

The first attendees for the Senior Bowl have been announced and so far only two white position players have been invited:
QB Shane Carden ECU
LB Mike Hull PSU

Everyone else of the first 11 are black.

Two caste notes:
Iowa DL Carl Davis has been invited
This seasons stats:
Tackles: 9 solo/16 assisted - 25 total
TFL - 5.5
Sacks - 1

Compare this to his teammate and fellow DL Louis Trinca-Pasat - yet no invite here.
Tackles: 25 solo/30 assisted - 55 total
TFL - 9.5
Sacks - 5.5

The second caste note:

The invitation of FBS RB David Johnson: http://stats.washingtonpost.com/cfb/players.asp?id=191880
and no invitation for Zach Zenner yet: http://stats.washingtonpost.com/cfb/players.asp?id=201007

Zenner's production at the FBS level absolutely destroys David Johnson especially against FCS components.

Granted it is early but these two caste cases have already appeared. Here is the Senior Bowl email - I suggest everyone just emails them to let them know what the deal is:

srbowl@seniorbowl.com

This is a very good site to track college stats: http://www.cfbstats.com/

Nice breakdown! I've noticed the hype Davis has been garnering since before season and before. The only black guy on Iowa's defense line. Kinda how Morris was the lone undrafted LB last year but his 2black teammates were draft picks despite having identical numbers to the white boy.

Drew Ott has been a beast as well. Going to be emailing the senior bowl as the invitees are announced to call them out. It would be great if we can get several of us to do the same in an organized attack on the caste system.

Georgetown SR DE Alec May is the best defensive lineman in FCS. Absolutely zero draft buzz.
