Question regarding Allen

Fun game last night. Winslow got a away with three plays. The tip off of his finger late. Stepping out of bounds and a charge. Dekker's outside shot went missing but Duke got hot from the outside and stiffened up on D and Wisconsin just didn't move or pass well late. That said regarding Grayson Allen. When was the last time an athletic underclassman( ie frosh or soph) white 2 guard made such a big contribution to a victory in a championship game? The guy was simply amazing you gotta love his energy speed and hops. I can't think of anyone you have to go back years and years I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. BTW Big Frank played great .

Okafor got so much hype all season as the potential no. 1 pick in the NBA draft, but this was the first game I watched him play. He's big, that's all. Very limited skill set: dunking and catch it deep and overpower the defender for a layup. Kaminsky, however, showed all kinds of skills: great handles, pump fakes, spin moves, long range, mid range, drive and kick, blocking shots, steals, competitive drive...
Grayson Allen was fearless taking it to the basket. Dekker should have played that way, because his outside shot was off. Instead, Koenig and the black guard were driving to the hole with little success because they don't have Dekker's finishing ability.
In the end, Wisconsin showed fatigue, whereas Duke was fresh from their blowout win over Michigan State. Also, coach K out coached Bo Ryan in the second half.

All good points guys. I think Wisconsin's tough schedule finally caught up with them meanwhile Dukes cupcake walk to the championship kept them fresh. Either way good season for our boys. This one is going to hurt for a bit. There is still a chance that Dekker comes back for another run next year.

Yea, I can't really add too much as everything has been already said by the myriad of great posts. We could blame the refs for their botched calls, but really if Wisconsin made their free throws and Dekker found his shot at all, they would have won. Oh well.

Going forward, some positives. Wisconsin beat a historic Kentucky team and people will talk about that for years. Maybe even more so than the Championship game. Frank the Tank solidified his Player of the Year regular season and should be a top 15 pick in the draft. Dekker got himself into the lottery if he elects to go pro. If he stays, I predict he will be a top 3 favorite for Player of the Year next season.

For Duke, Grayson Allen will be a star next year. I read a report where an unnamed scout predicted earlier this season that by the end of the 2016 season, Allen would be a lottery pick. I think if Okefor and Justice Winslow are gone, Allen will be Duke's leading scorer next season. He's just got that confidence, fearlessness and fire that I wish more White's possessed. I'll leave with this gif from Allen against Michigan State. It is one of my favorite moments of the tournament.

I agree; there's not too much to add to everybody else's posts. It's been a great tourney for our guys. I think Allen is gonna be a future star along with Super freshman Luke Kennard, who broke LeBron's Ohio HS scoring record. He's gonna be coming in for Duke next year. They'll still have Plumlee as well.

It’s too bad Wisconsin lost, but in all honesty, Duke’s black players seem to have far more class than Kentucky and a plethora of other top programs. Coach K, of course, is essentially the Bill Belichick of NCAA basketball, with the past 2-3 years being the only aberration in his 30+ years of fairness to white players.

Duke’s Grayson Allen is poised to be a mega-star. His extroverted personality and self-confidence, combined with his speed, strength, height (for a PG), agility, athleticism, hustle, shooting, and special ability to drive to the rim could produce a great NBA player in the mold of the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook. As others mentioned, it was great hear Jim Nantz, the premier American sports broadcaster, utter something like: “They tested the entire Duke roster, and Grayson Allen’s 37.5-inch vertical leap was the highest on the team!â€

It wasn’t the result we hoped for, but it could’ve been much worse. Wisconsin’s caste-underdog win over Kentucky (given their roster and undefeated record) was a great moment that will surely live longer than Duke’s win last night.

The 2013 championship game between Louisville and Michigan featured senior Luke Han**** (listed as a SF at 6'6) splashing 22 pts off the bench to answer freshman Spike Albrecht (only ever a PG at 5'10), who rained down 17 points in the first half. Five three-balls each! Neither are perfect fits for your question, but their "hot hands" were ignored by both teams down the stretch of that game. With regard to an elite white shooting guard, you can probably broaden your qualification, since I can't remember any who have been drafted to the NBA. It's the most 'caste' position in basketball by far.

Next year, 6'5 Luke Kennard joins the Duke roster. The team could be "really white" and "hateable" again if Plumlee* sticks around and takes minutes at center from the high-yellow, blue-ribbon recruit Chase Jeter.

* I recall some fluffy media story that Marshall Plumlee was inspired to pledge to join the army after a preseason exhibition game on an aircraft carrier, or something equally stupid. This made me mad, not because 'shabbos goy' is such a rank-and-file career path these days (it is), but because there's certainly always a market in the NBA for fit 7-footers. Marshall could follow his brothers' paths: work hard, stay focused, never be rewarded with playing time, and still pound out the occasional double-double on cue in limited minutes when one of the more talented Negroes gets in foul trouble. He could earn several million dollars on his family name alone, but I reckon that is the point he is purposefully avoiding.

Great run by Wisconsin; with the toughest road(UNC, Arizona)...will always remember them beating undefeated Kentucky. I tried to warn em' the Badgers would win that game; but they wouldn't listen!

How spent were the Badgers just 48 hours later?
I just want to elaborate on that for a moment. I really do think that's true. Excluding the cupcake in the first round, these are the teams they faced:

Oregon - A tough team who was arguably the 2nd best team in the Pac-12 all year.

North Carolina - Top 25 all year; littered with McDonald's all-Americans and top recruits; was peeking at the end of the year.

Arizona: Top 5 team all year; should have probably received the last #1 seed over Villanova

Kentucky: Undefeated and #1 team all season.

Duke: Top 5 team all year; filled with top recruits and coached by a legend.

Now imagine that it was the regular season and Wisconsin (or any team for that matter) had these 5 teams in a row on their schedule. There would not be anyone who could possibly be disappointed with winning 4 out of those 5 games. You'd be hard pressed to find any team in D1 who could go through that 5-0.

We should be extremely proud of what the Badgers accomplished. :clap2:

Just to elaborate on this and not to take anything away from Wisconsin, but I'm going to be honest. While I have always been a Duke fan, it wouldn't have bothered me one bit to see Wisconsin win, but the bottom line is Wisconsin, spent or not, just didn't get it done. I believe Wisconsin was the better team, but just couldn't finish.

Going back a ways; Wisconsin's run reminded me of Duke's 90-91 team led by Laettner, Hurley, and(McCaffrey).

In 91 Duke had to beat a then tough, Iowa team, then very good Connecticut, # 20 St. John's and then take on defending Champion and Number 1 UNLV. A game no one thought Duke would win.

Duke could have easily lost their composure or overlooked #12 Kansas, whom they beat in the final.

Many people then thought Duke may have been spent back then, but finished the job, 72-65 over Kansas!

They then followed that up with another Championship in 91-92 by beating: Iowa again, #19 Seton Hall, #6 Kentucky, # 5 Indiana, and #15 Michigan.

That's getting it done!

A tribute to the greatness of Krzyzewski, Laettner, Hurley, McCaffrey and Co.

Coach K could be considered the greatest college basketball coach of all time and that's not a bad thing considering that he's always given white players an opportunity to come and play for Duke.

Duke Win

It could end up being a great win, long term. Everybody is talking about Grayson Allen now. Maybe Coach K goes after more white talent now. Could be another white-friendly Duke dynasty in the making.

So now Duke is the best program in college basketball. Gonzaga is the best mid-major. Wisconsin is a powerhouse and I think BYU has a chance to be "the next Gonzaga."

And, it's (very) early but I wouldn't rule out a fantastic Duke vs. Gonzaga title game next year.

Apparently Grayson Allen is the next Duke "villain".

It's funny the other day I read an article that claimed that Duke was more likable this year than previous years, now a talented White basketball player is going to ruin that.

Great examples of just how sick this country is. If he was black he would be the country's newest basketball hero.

Yep. Grayson Allen went Teen Wolf in the Final Four.

Now he didn't hit the game winning shot or anything, but a former dunk champ winning college freshman guard had 16 points in thr title game to help his team win the NCAA championship -- Michael Jordan.

Refs look at the replay, and its clearly Wis ball..... NOPE! They blatantly cheat Wis out of a key possession.
This play clinched the game for Duke. Obviously the win is more than this play as Grayson and Jones played at a pro level and Wisconsin had a poor game from Dekker and a non dominant game from Kaminsky. But if Wisconsin had any chance to steal the win they needed this call badly as it cost them a subsequent three point shot and made it a three possession game with about a minute to go.

Absolutely. Those lists are supposed to make me hate the guy? They make me LIKE him even more than I already did. Only a weak, jealous, pathetic loser would use those reasons to root against a White player.

The author of that first article's name is Nate Scott. Sounds like a negro name. One of the reasons he gives to hate Allen is because "he's got one of those faces". I guess meaning a WHITE face. What a racist black POS. Of course, none of the black Duke players from the last two years is the "Duke villain we've all been waiting for". Of course not. It's only cool to hate white Duke players.

And of course, people like Nate Scott are the first ones to whine and bitch about "Way-cism".

I wish Wisconsin had won, but I'm honestly not that down about it. They took down the supposedly unbeatable Zulu team 48 hours earlier. It was asking a lot for them to turn around and beat Duke, who had cruised to an easy win on Saturday. Make no mistake, Duke is a well-coached team EVERY year. In the final we saw Kaminsky simply take Okafor to school on both ends, and probably should have seen more of it. We saw Grayson Allen emerge as a star. We saw J.J. Watt with a hot blonde tennis player. We saw Edelman tweet about Allen in a way that makes me think that Julian kind of sort of sees things as they are. Good tournament. Good last few months of sports.

Side note: Things seem to be picking up around here! Everyone spread the word. I've seen people on alt right sites wondering about sports lately. See an opportunity, point them here.

I see that neither of those two "hate Grayson Allen" articles have a comment section.

Yeah even though Dekker laid an egg. Even though Bo Ryan kept putting Jackson in there to dribble around, and throw the ball away, and miss layups. Even though #3 (cant recall his name, but he always played well) hardly saw the floor. Even though Duke played hard, and earned all my respect..................

When it came right down to it the boys in black and white stripes cheated Wis out of it. The Obvious out of bounds was "missed", and then they replay and just blatantly cheat.

After the NFC championship, and then this, its clear they arent even disguising it any more. Most people are so retarded they dont even have to.
