2015 Free Agency Thread

Well some disappointing cuts first up before the March 10th start of free agency with Hawk being cut at the Packers, Hartline at the Dolphins and msot suprisingly i think Fassano the TE at the Chiefs thought he and Kelce made an excellent pair of TE's for them!

Apart from the three i mentioned among the cuts, there are not many more of our big guys hitting free agency this year with the offensive line possibly the biggest area for our lot.

Stefen Wisniewski the centre from Oakland Raiders one of the best in the league at his position.

Bryan Bulaga the right tackle for the legend that is Aaron Rodgers is also on the open market but i can't see the Packers letting him go.

Doug Free the right tackle from Dallas who was a big part of the success of Murray there this year.

Clint Boling the guard from the Bengals is a solid pro who should see some attention in free agency.

Jordan Cameron was unstoppable in 2013 and if he can stay ehalthy could be a huge steal for a team in 2015.

Kroy Biermann the defensive end from Atlanta has been consitent for many years and is probably the most high profile defender up for grabs.

I'm glad Fasano was cut because it makes Travis Kelce the clear-cut starter for the Chiefs. Kelce was way underused last season as far as offensive snaps, much like Jordy Nelson was for several years. Kelce is one of the few potential White stars to emerge the past two years as the league is going all-out to become noticeably blacker than ever.

Don't know if Hartline was asked to restructure his contract or not, hopefully someone will sign him but I'll be surprised if he's ever a starter again as he's always been widely mocked and despised even during his back to back thousand yard seasons.

Yeah in that sense Fassano not being there will help Kelce, I just feel they should of gone to a two tight end starting line up like the Pats for 2011 2012, they have nothing at wideout and Fassano and Kelce could easily be on the field together.

Yeah Hartline has great skills but some reason was seldom targeted in some games last year. I think the Pats could use him, like I said in another thread they don't ahve much outside of Edelman, Amendola and a half decent Lafell this year who could easily regress, their other receivers are awful!

Another guy who was cut to little media attention was Peyton Hillis. He was under contract for less than a million dollars so money wasn't the reason he was cut. His season ended by concussion so there could be more to the story that I don't know regarding his health. But assuming he's healthy and wants to continue playing, the Giants played by Caste Rules and screwed over Whitey once again. Let me explain.

When I saw this I went onto a NY Giants fan blog called Big Blue View. I lurk there once in awhile to get a "temperature check" on the mindset of the American Drunk White Male and their opinions on the few Caucasians the "GMen" employ. The site is filled with smartass DWFs, wiggers and likely some black supremacist minorities. Their general consensus was, "good he was cut! Hillis is old and slow". They also would rather see a player (brotha) with upside take his spot. The few that defended Hillis said he played hard and liked him but were fine with the team getting younger. Well here is what they all overlooked.

Hillis averaged 4.4 yards per carry last season while Andre Williams averaged 3.3 and Rashad Jennings averaged 3.8. Hillis also averaged more yards per catch then both of his "superiors". But Hillis is seen as a laughing stock while Williams has "upside" and Jennings was "a good free agent pickup that sparked the offense when he was healthy" (as I read a Giant's beat writer on ESPN say).

Then there is the age thing. Williams was a rookie and gets a pass but Jennings who is signed for 3 more years for way more money is older than Peyton! Hillis just turned 29. Jennings will be 30 in a month. Jennings also has never had a season as good as Hillis' 2010 season with Cleveland. So Peyton is better, both past and present, while being younger yet he's cut and Jennings is the "starter"? Must be more of that White Privilege that I keep hearing so much about.

Would like to see Hillis there too but if he did they would have two white running backs on the Pats next year. Tyler Gaffney is a Patriot and he sat out the year with a bad injury. He was very good in college taking Gerharts place at Stanford. He has very nice speed and good power. Even if Hillis doesn't sign, expect Gaffney to play a vital role in next years team assuming he has fully recovered from his injury.

Good comments here on the Hillis situation. All the braindead dwfs could do was bring up the madden cover and how undeserving he was of the honor. Of course not one word ever uttered about black quarterback Vince Young who is out of the league. It never amazes me how big hypocrites these fools can be. Hopefully Randall Cobb will sign with a new team, opening the way for Jeff Janis (and possibly Jared Abbrederis) to see significant playing time in the new season. Surprisingly, given what's happened to White receivers over the past two years, Janis continues to receive good media about his potential. If Cobb goes and Green Bay doesn't draft a receiver early, Janis and Davante Adams will likely be fighting to be the Packers' number two receiver.


Free agent Randall Cobb is now seeking an annual salary of $12 million. His original asking price was $9 million. ESPN Packers reporter Rob Demovsky suggests Cobb may have upped his price after gauging interest at the Combine last month. The Packers could have secured Cobb for $12.823 million by giving him the franchise tag, but instead they'll let him test the market. Cobb could be a fit for Oakland if he doesn't re-sign with Green Bay.

Due to his connection with Bill O’Brien (he was Wes’ OC in New England from 2008-2011), Wes Welker’s name has invariably been linked with Houston during free agency. With Andre Johnson likely gone (leaving the Texans with DeAndre Hopkins and Keshawn Martin), it would be a nice location to finish his storied career…

In other news, AJ Hawk has been linked to the Falcons and Bengals. Let’s hope that the Patriots part ways with the injury-prone Jerod Mayo and sign the former Buckeye. He could also return to GB under different terms, as he did after being released following their 2010-2011 Superbowl season.

Matt Cassel traded to Buffalo. He should beat out EJ Manuel for the starting job. Unless the Bills draft a quarterback.

Also, when the Eagles released Trent Cole it opened the door at OLB. I'm sure they'll draft or sign someone but as of right now they have last year's first rounder Marcus Smith who did nothing as a rookie, Bryan Braman and Travis Long. Braman looks great every preseason but then only gets to be a WSTD in the regular season. Long looked fantastic last preseason as well but tore his ACL in the final game. He could be a guy to watch this year.

I think we have seen some good moves in free agency with Matt Cassell replacing EJ Manuel in Buffalo and Kiki Alonso moving to Philidelphia to be the rock in one of the most pro white teams in the NFL. Hopefully some more good moves for our guys go down soon.

Thats a nice surprise. The bills really seem to have no faith in Manuel which is hilarious. It's not even as if they are bringing in an offensive minded coach to try and develop him. Just goes to show you how picking the wrong qb is detrimental to a whole franchise.

I don't think Cassell was signed to be the starter, at least not yet. Manuel still gets a lot of praise from the organization and I expect he'll get another chance to start. Cassell is more like a fallback option in the likelihood Manuel is in over his head again, much like Orton was last season.

It seems as if Randall Cobb will sign with another team, likely to Kansas City, Jacksonville, or Oakland. This leaves the Packers’ WR corps with only 4 players under contract (3 whites, 1 black): Jordy Nelson, Devonte Adams, Jeff Janis, and Jared Abbrederis.

The pencil-necked smurf, Myles White, is only signed to a “futures contractâ€￾ and the equally-slight Jarrett Boykin is a restricted free agent. Both could be brought back.

As Don mentioned, Nelson and Adams will become the clear-cut #1 and #2, with Janis, Abbrederis, and the picayune blacks (Boykin and White) competing for time in the slot. They could also draft a WR.

It’s not all good news in Green Bay, as two white starters (LB AJ Hawk and RT Brian Bulaga) are gone. Hawk will be replaced by a Negro, but thankfully, with Don Barclay taking over at RT, the Packer OL should remain all-white in 2015.

Locker was written off way to soon. Locker was hampered by injuries and played for a bad Titans team - the writing was on the door with him when Whisenhunt took over as he prefers the big, tall prototypical pocket passer. Locker would be good in a system that does alot of QB rollouts and lets him move within the pocket. All the physical ability is there but he has never been developed as a QB. I would say it would be nice if the Broncos signed him but I think Osweiler is going to be a good one after Manning hangs it up.

Ponder was never given a fair shot - the fans hated him right off the bat and they all seemed to prefer Joe Webb which is beyond pathetic. Ponder is better than either the babied EJ Manuel and Geno Smiff. He's a west coast offense QB, short, quick accurate throws.

Mallett is a guy that looks the part but has not had much of a chance. He played pretty well with Houston prior to getting injured. O'Brien says that he wants him back.

Colt McCoy has been disrespected his whole stint in the league while playing for some pretty bad teams. His performance with the Redskins last year was solid. He isn't a world beater but he is a very good steward of an offense.

Hoyer is a journeyman. A solid QB with limitations. I do feel he could continue to be a solid starter for a third of the teams in the league. I did wish he would of been more of a mentor to Manziel rather than help build Manziel into the lightning rod of criticism he has become.

DT Karl Klug is also a free agent. He had a great season a few years back with 7 sacks as a rookie, despite not starting. Hopefully a white-friendly team picks him up and he earns the starting spot he deserves.

Klug should be a starter in this league. He has had pretty good production even though his chances have been few and far between.

It is amazing how many retread black players get chance after chance without ever producing yet Klug is never given the opportunity to compete for a starting job. Just compare his numbers to Derrick Morgan's and look at the production Klug has even though he was never given the same amount of playing time.

Klug had a good rookie season and was then buried. The idea that teams play the best players is false. Klug is an example.

Klug should be playing strongside defensive end and moving inside on passing downs.

Teams have an opportunity to improve by picking up an underrated player in free agency.

lets hope you are right. Harvin is one of the most overrated players in the league that the dwfs love. I hope that smiff is not even being considered as the starting qb next year. I cannot think of any white qb that has been given the kind of treatment Smiff has received.
