They're already starting. The delusional white Texans fans are already criticizing Tom Savage and his selection at the bottom of the fourth round.

They apparently think Savage is a worthless player and was a worthless pick. They're already talking about drafting a non-white quarterback in next year's draft.

No doubt they wish the Texans would have drafted a black quarterback such as Bridgewater, Thomas or Boyd. Then they'd be praising the pick to the skies.

The selection of Savage in the bottom of the 4th was an excellent pick. He could end up being a huge steal.

The only reason he's being criticized is because he's white.

White people have been trained to criticize white people. Unfortunately most white people don't rebel against this training and they'll fight you every step of the way when you point out that they're racist against their own race.

and noticed something interesting. The browns have josh cooper and Conner Vernon. It would be great of they both somehow managed to make the team.

That'd be awesome but browns are bringing in 5udfa Wrs.. Manziel would love those guys as he did with Swope and Labhart who signed with the Texans.

They are all no name guys. I know Vernon earned rave reviews when he was with Oakland before being let go. Hopefully a year into his NFL experience he has gotten even better.

Could have been worse

I went to bed in a good mood after just about ready to go nuts but after Jared A got nabbed and the other big 2 wr's got drafted I said to myself ok. We have to be realistic. Given what was available I think we did ok when you consider the woeful lack of D players this year. As usual some bad things like Sorenson and the two faster QB's Shaw and Smith but all of these guys going in were iffy 7 round picks for reasons I don't understand. I have no faith in the free agency route given last years catastrophe.
That said there were positives and you know me I'll be thinking about next years draft in two days or so---and it looks super bad from offensive wr perspective albeit that could change- there are several positives in the draft.
First some perfect fits. Johnny Football in Cleveland is a match made in heaven and the Hoyer watch is on---how many Hoyer interceptions before Johnny enters the fray--oh hell if Hoyer throws three straight incompletions its probably lights out---.
Jared A to Pack great. A wisc local guy the only reason he dropped was this head crap--he could be a star.
Janis will need more time but under Jordy I think a good situation.
Campy to Ravens good stuff---I like this player.
Some DE's were picked inc Murphy and Reilly and Gardner.
Nice nab by Miami with Tripp a real good athlete and player .
Sunseri will likely be special teams and QB Carr to Oakland.
The key is all three wideouts were chosen--not as soon as we wanted but hell at this point I'll take it- remember last year?

If your non white, and employed, then you can be sure there are many White men out there that would be the better person for the job. Your non white skin is what got you the job in the first place. No non White "earned" their lot in life. Its always given to them, and they usually screw up sooner than later.

Doug Whaley, the GM in Buffalo, is particularly bad.

He saddled the franchise with an injury prone, ineffective quarterback whose main qualification for the starting job is being black.

He failed to draft a back up plan for his oft injured QB in drafts where Matt Barkley, Ryan Nassib, Tom Savage and Zack Mettenberger were available at bargain rates in the mid rounds, putting all his eggs in one oft injured, ineffective basket.

He overpayed to move up in the first round by giving up a future 1st and 4th to draft a wide receiver in a draft deep in wide receivers.

After making this deal he traded the team's best receiver.

He was fleeced in a deal for a back up running back at the end of his contract by the Eagles, again trading future draft picks. He gave up too much.

Whaley has made moves as if the Bills are one player away from winning the Superbowl when, of course, they're not.

He's put together a team that's mediocre, at best, and decimated next year's draft to do it.

The first order of business for the Bills' new owner should be to fire Whaley and replace him with someone competent.

I agree. There were a lot of positives in this draft.

Johnny Manziel was the biggest positive. He's going to galvanize the Cleveland fan base and help turn the team around.

There were a lot of white lineman drafted, on both sides of the ball. I think there were more than usual.

The wide receivers all have good chances to stick in the NFL. The fact that the Ravens traded to get Campanaro bodes well for his chances. Janis has all the talent in the world. If given a chance he could develop into a star player.

There were a lot of white quarterbacks drafted who could have careers in the NFL. Manziel, Carr, Garoppolo, Savage, McCarron, Murray, Fales and Mettenberger all are good prospects.

So, it wasn't all bad.

Thanks for the demographic breakdown, I usually do that reading newspaper...

Disappointed this year; the fact that in past Drafts...while many teams were 2-8, 1-9; 3-7; 0-8 etc....there are USUALLY a few teams that would go 5-4; 4-4; 5-6 etc...this Year I saw NO TEAMS get that close.

Adding a positive...Posted about him months ago...Jay Prosch was NOT invited to Indy Combine....but 1st Fullback was taken 6th round/Texans; rightfully so (even ESPiN talked about his road-grading skills responsible for Auburn avg 300 per game)...when you had J.C. Copeland who was invited; BUT not drafted

WR's Steve Hull & Spencer Harris were signed by the Saints to mini-camps...& DB-Luke Wollett. DB's Vinnie Sunseri & Ty Zimmerman should make the Saints 53-man squad.

Did any owner, GM, or coach say the same thing about some of the recent black quarterbacks drafted? No, they were either anointed starters from the moment they were drafted, or it was publicly acknowledged that there would be an open competition for the QB spot.

What is the purpose of coming out with such a strong statement? Why not just say we don't know who the starter is and all the QBs on our roster will get a fair shot at earning the job?

Redskins GM Bruce Allen confirms third-round OT Morgan Moses will be in the mix at right tackle. Tyler Polumbus' job is not safe following a rough 2013. Moses has starter measurables (6-foot-6 1/8, 314 pounds, 35 3/8-inch arms), but lacks fluidity and is an atrocious run blocker. Moses could need more than four months to adjust to the level of athleticism NFL pass rushers will throw his way.

I'm not too worried. Regardless of what the owner does or doesn't think, he is a first round draft pick that is already making the Browns a ton of money. He is a folk hero already as fans gobble up his jersey and season tix. The backlash is palpable though. I know some people here don't like Kiper but to me not overly offensive over the years. New hot shot McShay on the other hand went out of his way to say that LB Ryan Shazier is so much faster than Johnny F which is a friggen lie. Shazier's fraud time is a pro day time and besides he is barely faster than Johnny if that and in the open field I bet Johnny leaves him eating dirt.
The guy might turn out to be an amalgam of Namath/Montana/Tarkenton. Some of these anti Johnny media types will be eating you know what in the not too distant future.

Leonardfan, you neglected to mention Buffalo DT Colby Way. In my opinion, he's the reason Kuh-leel Mack had any success. Way dominated the LOS against Ohio State. I imagine he was even more of a disruptive force against MAC competition, freeing the way for the overrated Mack to pile up statistics.
I realize he might not be drafted, but half the guys you mentioned are also likely to become UDFAs.

My mistake. I had forgotten that DT was almost as forbidden a position for white males as CB. In any case, Way has finally signed a free agent deal with the Bills. I doubt they'll keep him around for long.

The treatment Manziel is getting is totally opposite of any black QB that has come out in recent years. Last year both black quarterbacks Smiff and Manuel were underwhelming prospects spoon fed the starting position. They both pretty much stunk and here we are in year 2 of their careers and they are both the unchallenged starters once again. The same can be said for Sewerwater who seems to have locked up the starting job already when you listen to the next coaches comment on him.

Two players who should have been given offers as undrafted free agents remain unsigned.

Greg Heban was a safety at Indiana. He had good production and good measurables. He should have been drafted. He hasn't been signed even to a free agent contract.

Colt Lyerla hasn't signed.

Yet Purifoy, the cornerback from Florida who had similar issues to Lyerla, has been signed by Indianapolis.

Lyerla is white. Purifoy is black.

So far it looks as if Purifoy will get a chance but not Lyerla.

I hope both of these white players get a chance but I'm not holding my breath.

The media is pretty predictable. Already a non-stop campaign to not let Johnny manziel on the field. Similar to how Tebow was treated. Teddy Bridgewater on the other hand is being gifted the starting job over the popular Matt Cassell. Viking fans were sold on Cassell as he preformed well last year for a bad team. However, political correctness trumps all.
