I would jump with joy if the Texans did grab Johnny. Its just such a perfect fit, being that he IS a Texan. They have a couple decent QBs. I wouldnt mind seeing him go to Dallas either, although I KNOW that wont happen.

What do yall think would be "ideal" for Manziel? Whats the perfect situation for him to have success right away?

Honestly Manziel doesn't fit on a lot of teams. He'd fit well on the Eagles but Foles deserves his starter position. Hopefully whoever does draft him makes proper use of him and actually tries to fit the system around him.

The mainstream sports media keeps claiming that there is no correlation between Wonderlic scores and success as an NFL quarterback. This is an outright lie.

Playoff quarterbacks almost invariably score above average on the Wonderlic. Few playoff quarterbacks score 20s on their Wonderlics the way Teddy Bridgewater did. Anyone can verify this for themselves. To play quarterback successfully you have to be able to process information at a certain level.

The mainstream sports media downplays the significance of the Wonderlic test because blacks do much worse than whites on it.

Right EP! I've been hearing this all week, although this is nothing new, the MSM keeps pounding this issue which is the same ol same ol, part of their agenda. A part of the continual dumbing down process in this country, not only in professional sports but in all facets of life in the USA!

Just like all the dumb@$$'s in politics, if they can get an all dumb black QB NFL, they'll be no intelligent white QB's to compare them to as in CB's, Safety's, RB's, etc...., however, there have been a few great, intelligent white WR's to break through lately, maybe there's a glimmer of hope, maybe.

I can see Houston picking Manziel up but I think they will take Clowney.

I think Bortles is going to Houston but would not complain one bit if Manziel ended up down in Houston. I don't think the Texans are interested in Clowney.

One thing the mainstream sports media does is babble incessantly about how smart black quarterbacks are, even if they're not.

When Robert Griffin came out he was portrayed as some sort of super genius. One account had it that he met with a veteran NFL coach and the coach was able to learn a lot from Griffin. it was ridiculous. Griffin scored a 24 on his Wonderlic, which is above average but nothing earthshaking.

Last year the MSM kept babbling about how "extremely intelligent" EJ Manuel was and how he was the most intelligent QB in the draft class. Manuel scored about a 28 on the Wonderlic, which isn't bad but does not indicate "extreme intelligence.

Meanwhile, Ryan Nassib scored a 42 on the Wonderlic, which does indicate extreme intelligence. Nobody in the MSM was babbling about how smart Nassib was.

This year the media is babbling about how smart Teddy Bridgewater is. Bridgewater scored a 20 on his Wonderlic, which is average.

And the beat goes on...

Given the struggles of Manuel and Griffin despite their (slightly) above average intelligence, the odds are that whichever team picks Bridgewater (whose Wonderlic of 20 puts him slightly below the average of 21 and corresponds to only a double-digit IQ) is in for a painful surprise, with all the talking heads, columnists, DWFs, and self-proclaimed "experts" scratching their heads wondering how it all could have gone so wrong. Meanwhile, we at Caste Football will be saying, "I told you so."

With all the hype around Bridgewater, it's also likely that the team that picks him will thrust him into the starter role right away, and change up their game plan to fit his style, which will make the train wreck even more impressive.

Of course, all this is just a prediction. I may be wrong. That's something you'll never hear the "ZOMG Johnny Manziel will be the BIGGEST BUST EVAH!!!!111eleventyone" types say.

Manuel is going to either bust or suffer another injury. The Bills HC is going to kick himself later on for not drafting competition or drafting his college qb Nassib who might end up taking over for Eli in NY.

The Bills look to be going towards a coal black team with their racist black GM in place.

Seems like it. The only player left to root for on that team is Kiko Alonso.

too bad studs like Alonso and Kuechly get stuck on the teams they did..

I think Johnny football will be fine provided he at least has a decent receiving corps and offensive line. My only hope is that he doesn't go to a team with a white quarterback. It would be awesome if he could replace a black quarterback but it's possible Jacksonville picks him up. I think Gabbert will go the way of Matt Leinart and Brady Quinn.

I think I said this before but if Manziel goes to Jacksonville and they start him, and they also start Gerhart, they will be right up there with New England and Philly as the most likeable teams

With just three weeks to go, How many of our guys do we think will go in the first round?

My guess from following quite alot of the buzz and the mock drafts is

Johnny Manziel
Blake Bortles
Derek Carr
Jake Matthews
Taylor Lewan
Joel Bitonio
Zack Martin

I just don't see as much as i want to Chris Borland or Jace Amaro making the top 32.

Maybe someone trades up for Garapollo or Mccarron but other than that can't see it above seven!

Anyone reckon any advance on 7????

There could be as many as 8 quarterbacks taken in the first 3 rounds. Of these 8, 7 of them are white: McCarron, Garoppolo, Bortles, Manziel, Carr, Savage and Mettenberger.

Bridgewater's stock is said to be dropping and he may fall into the 2nd round.

Apparently Bortles and Carr are considered to be the top two quarterbacks by some teams.

To me, the two best quarterbacks are Manziel and Bortles. I think the Texans should take Manziel with the number 1 pick.

This sounds about right. Bitonio may not make it into the first round.

One of the things being said is that there are 4 elite prospects in this draft: Clowney, Mack, Robinson and Watkins. Supposedly Matthews isn't an elite prospect.

The same kind of thing was being said in 2012. It was said that there were 6 elite players in the draft. Kuechly wasn't considered one of them.

I think you may have to say with the measurables that Clowney could be elite and Watkins looks a good prospect but for me Matthews not Robinson should be on the list and Manziel is definitely elite dominated against elite competition in college and a great dual threat with the ability to make any play at the next level.

Mack played against sub par competition and his stats were nothing on Murphy!

Surely it should be Manziel, Murphy, Clowney and Matthews.

Manziel is a unique athlete and deserves to be the number 1 pick.

To put things in perspective Clowney had 3 sacks last year and Murphy had 15.

Matthews has been a quality starter since his freshman year and is the best offensive lineman in the draft. The only reason anyone would say that Robinson is a better prospect is because they buy into the myth that blacks are always better.

I will be shocked if Manziel is drafted high. Today, I was treated to former Redskins' TE Chris Cooley doing his usual, Merrill Hoge-like routine, blasting Manziel for his alleged lack of football knowledge on the ridiculous Jon Gruden QB school thing. I saw a few clips of this show, and Chucky as usual was much harder on this huge threat to the Caste system than he ever is to any black quarterback.

I will never forget how he belittled Colt McCoy's accent a few years back, while all the jock sniffing "journalists" giggled like schoolgirls. I can't wait to see him comment on Jameis Winston's Oxford-style diction.

Last week, the Vikings new coach, Mike Zimmer, publicly criticized Manziel, and basically said they weren't interested. The Browns and Jaguars appear to prefer any QB, even the brother of the despised David Carr, over this Casteon nightmare. I think the Texans are the only possibility. If they pass on him, for the clear media favorite, the fat, lazy, totally unproductive "freak" Clowney, I honestly think Manziel could slide into the later rounds, where Merrill Hoge and so many others want him to be drafted.

This is all so frustrating, because if Manziel wasn't white, he would be considered a revolutionary type of player.

Thats right big. If Manziel was black it would be a garuntee that he would go first overall.

You may have a point. It will be very interesting to see where Manziel is drafted. On merit he should be a first round draft pick.

Teams supposedly are looking for franchise quarterbacks. Manziel is a potential franchise quarterback so he's worth spending a first round pick on.

Now that Bridgewater's star has fallen, the Caste pimps are relentlessly pushing Clowney as ZOMG TEH UBER-DESERVING #1 OVERALL PICK. Uh...how about...no. Not #1.

Also, with so many teams that need a quarterback, those teams shouldn't be using their first-round pick on any other position.

I’ve noted my great distain for Chris Cooley on a number of occasions. I think he owns the world record for most instances in which a football player has referred to himself as a “slow white guy / boy” in the presence of media members. This is the same *** who embraced the fact that all of his Redskins teammates referred to him as “Johnny White Boy” and he even teased his hair into an Afro…

CAPTION: “Cameroon” Chris Cooley

As for Manziel, even Ron “Jewarski” recently ranked him as the 3rd best QB in the draft behind Blake Bortles and Zach Metterberger. I think he’ll be a first round pick or early 2nd. The crow of quotoblacks may not fare too well in the draft. Bridgewater’s stock has clearly dropped, Tajh Boyd may be a mid/late round pick and Logan Thomas, Stephen Morris and James Franklin are unlikely to be drafted.

There should be no comparison between drafting a "great" quarterback vs a "great" defensive end. Even if Clowney had 30 sacks last year and was basically the next Bruce Smith and Reggie White combined, I'd still take Manziel or Bortles. A franchise quarterback is by far more valuable. Other than being the most important player on the field, a QB can play for 15 years or more. A DE you'll be lucky to get 10 at a high level. The only reason a team should take a DE over a QB (both top prospects of course) is if that team is already set at QB. None of top 5, including the Rams, can really say that. The Texans shouldn't even be considering that Clown at #1.

The leftists never refer to a white man as a man. They call them boys, guys or males. Unfortunately they've been successful in getting a lot of people to go along with the program, sometimes white men themselves.

Why would a grown, adult white man refer to himself as a boy?
