Late start to this thread as several games have been played already.

Kiel, Carden, Goff and Kessler all had big games yesterday.

Blake Frohnapfel is quietly having a good year for Umass.

James Knapke playing well for bowling green. Ryan Burbink has emerged as the go to receiver catching 8 balls for 111 yds. Gehrig dieter the Smu transfer returned from injury to have 6 rec 78 yard game.

Kent st Te Casey Pierce had a huge game - 12 receptions for 127 yds and a td as did we Chris Humphrey who had 8 Rec for 132 yds and 2 tds.

Drew Hare had a solid game for northern Illinois - 14/22 190 yds 1 td and 16 rush for 66 yds. He has a chance to hit 1k rushing yards on the season.

That Kent State - Bowling Green game was a joy to watch.
One of the few pleasurable experiences I've had watching football this year.

The problem is Kent State is not a very good team. They are currently 1-9 and have been getting blown out. Last year they were winless.

Interesting matchup today - I am hoping Kaptain's fav QB Mitch Leidner upsets the ohio state black guys.

Bosa is a beast.11sacks already. Minnesota secondary makes up for getting burned by Barrett on 86yd run by picking off JT and now run game is starting to click.

I'm glad Minnesota's defense keeps giving Barrett some gaping holes to run through... he's already got 140+ rushing yards.:icon_rolleyes:

I can't get over Hackenberg's regression under James Franklin. They are killing this kid's draft stock.

Minnesota's Maxx Williams is easily the best tightend in the country and should be another dominant player once he gets to the NFL. It's amazing how whites dominate at the tightend position with rare combinations of size, speed, power, catching ability, and oh yeah, they can actually BLOCK!

White players need to put more thought into which schools they chose. Luckily he is only a sophomore, so he has two more seasons to improve, but it is hard to watch him play. It also doesn't help that most of the big programs are changing there systems to accommodate running QBs.

Yea for some odd reason. PSU's offense was very good last year running a pro style attack yet all of these lemming head coaches want to change to the spread which is not as effective as the media leads everyone to believe.

Franklin has made no offensive adjustments as the season has gone on, the drop off from O'Brien to Franklin as a coach is astounding. They could be running alot more two TE sets as they did last year.

Weisman is a beast. Hope he gets a chance to play on Sundays.

Switzer is so explosive. Great speed and nice hands.

Tommy Armstrong the Qb for Nebraska is awful, 2-12 for 26 yards. And 11 carries for 21 yards. Sad that not one white Qb could win that job.

Stanford finally gets McCaffrey involved early in the game and he has 2 carries for 42 yds on the first drive which results in a TD.

So I guess Stanford will bench him for the rest of the game like they have done every game so far.

haha - that's funny but also sad because it's true. Shaw is not a very good coach, cannot adapt or change his scheme to fit his personnel. The same can be said for Franklin at psu.

The Wisconsin running back has over 400 yards rushing through 3 quarters against Nebraska. Running behind all White line, fullback and tight end.

Yep that is the normal wisconsin formula. It's no surprise they have a strong running game year in and year out. It's a shame they never recruited a white RB.

Simple formula many other teams should follow. A white RB at wisco would be like seeing a white buffalo in the wild.. Wiscos D has been awesome
